Hello, everyone.  I am The Merchant.  Except I thought this was proboards and that I could manually change my name, but I can't, so yeah.  Oh well; it's not the end of the world. ^^

Anyhow, I have traveled far and wide in search of an Animorphs RP forum (devoted strictly to RP), but due to the lack of such forums, I decided to join this place instead.  Can't say I'll be doing any RPing, but you'll see me in chats and stuff.  Yeah.  I actually haven't read all the books because they got kind of boring and I ran out of money, but I quite enjoy the concept of the series.

Ah, yes, estrid.  The series was fantastic but it went on for too long with nothing really fresh added to it.  I probably would have kept reading if I had access to the books, but there was no longer anything compelling me to go out and either 1) buy the books or 2) get them from the library and pay the inevitable fine for keeping the books out for too long.  Applegate had an awesome concept--like she has for many of her books--but it started to get repetitive.

You have to finish the books! I imagine any RP forums you may find will make references to later books anyway.

it got repetitive cuz her ghost writers didnt know what they were doing. but still...........oh what a great series, except for the last book. i HATED the ending, but of course, i will not spoil it. anyhoo, hope you have fun here! i see you have already been posting in the ani thread, which is awesome!

Oh, I know the ending.  Rocks fall, everybody dies.   I don't really mind spoilers for the series--I've heard a bunch of them already.  But I appreciate your concern.  And I also appreciate the welcome.

Hey, Merchant ^_^ I've already seen you around a bit, so it's good that you're getting involved. I totally agree that the series kind of dropped off in the middle... I'd still like to recommend you at least skim the final arc (starting at book... what, 45?) via the ebooks on this site. And yeah, this is probably the most active Animorphs RP community you'll find anywhere these days. Beyond that, there's plenty else to enjoy on RAF, so explore a bit, and enjoy yourself!

Just a measure of how active you are on the forum. It counts all posts within the last 30 days- even Bored Board posts, which don't count toward your post total. If I'm thinking correctly, each post is worth 0.2%.
