The house was almost completely cleaned, when a car came up the drive way. Cassie's parents were home. They walked into the house to find it oddly messy in the most random of areas. Cassie's friends were cleaning, but what caused the mess in the first place is what concerned them.
Cassie's father approached the nearest boy (Shawn) and tried to get some answers. "Excuse me, Shawn, but what the hell happened here? Why is there trash strewn about my house?"
At the sight of her husband walking off, she called out to Cassie. Hopefully she would shed some light on this matter, "Cassie? Honey, are you home? Cassie we need to talk to you... now please."
Shawn was picking up random bits of trash when the parents came home. Cassie's father came up to him for answers. Shawn cursed his choice in rooms and decided a non-answer would work best in his favor, "Hi, welcome home. Um, the mess. Right, Cassie's right upstairs, she'd be able to answer better than I could." Before the father could object, Shawn exited into the kitchen with the bits of trash to throw away. He found Ax wiping down the kitchen counters which were completely clean, "Wow, you guys are good. Listen, Cassie's parents are home. We should probably lay low until Cassie has a chance to talk to them."
Jake was straightening the covers on Cassie's parents' bed. The room was damn near spotless. There was a bit of a mess still under their bed, but he did his best. When he heard Cassie's mom call for her, he gave her a wide-eyed look of panic, "Oh no, they're home. Hopefully everyone else cleaned their areas. We should get out of here, it'd look a little odd that we were in their room."
Rachel was organizing Cassie's closet, a task she left for last because she knew it would take a long time. She heard Cassie's parents call for Cassie and she spun around to Tobias, "Tobias, get out of here. I don't think Cassie's parents would like a hawk inside their house."
