Hi i'm new

Well, not too new.  I signed up a while back.  But i've decided to begin posting! Anyway my name is Jerrod. I like movies, videogames, and making videos online.  I used to love books and read Animorphs/Everworld/Goosebumps and would like to start the habit up again sometime.  I read all the Harry Potter novels, and those were amazing.  Not interested in Twilight, but the movie was okay, I guess.  Other then that i've been pretty dormant with books.  Sad...

Anyway the economy has been hurting me, as I don't have a job and haven't had one since the end of January.  For a 26 year old male, that is a very bad thing.  So I will keep this site in mind for comfort while I continue searching.  :P

Hey Jerrod, I'm Tara, welcome to RAF!  If you like RPGs you can also check out some pretty fun stuff going on at the Animorphs and General RPG boards.  I'm 25 and on medical leave from work, and my boyfriend is 26 and makes minimum wage three days a week so he can pursue an unpaid internship (doing what he really likes, which is good), so we hear ya on the economic crunch.  Good luck with your job search!

Hey Jerrod!  Welcome to RAF.  I'm DinosaurNothlit, but I usually go by Dino, Nothlit, or DN.

I'd say that I hope you like it here, but from what I've seen, I can say with a fair amount of certainty that you will.  You seem to be getting on quite well already.

Welcome, Jerrod! My name's Jess, and that's what everyone calls me despite the forum name. :P

I'm 24 and a lucky bastard who is gainfully employed with a job she loves and is incredibly thankful for (I teach high school special education), however, I feel your pain through my family, none of whom are employed. :/ Good luck with the job searching, and welcome to RAF!

Thanks for the tour, Dameg. I wasn't really hungry, so i'm not too bummed on not being invited to the meal.  There is more here then I thought.  I do have all the Everworld books, so I might be able to help.  The audiobook project sounds like fun.  I like acting in general and do it a lot on YT.  Maybe the audiobook project will be in the cards for me sometime.
