Hey everyone,

I've technically been on this forum since May but I don't post a lot and I've never really introduced myself, I think.

I'm Julie, I'm 21, I live in Boston, and I still like Animorphs just as much as I did when I was 7. Faerykore is a screenname that I've kept since I was 13, and I can't seem to escape it.

I took a hiatus from Animorphs once Harry Potter came around (6th grade). I kind of got bored with Animorphs, probably due to 1) Harry Potter, 2)filler books, 3) the Crayak/Ellimist story arcs becoming too prominent, and 4) the fact that I was very disappointed with the show...and I ended up not finishing the series. I think the last book I read was #38! I've read all the chronicles, Visser, Alternamorphs, and I think all the Megamorphs but I'm not sure.

Now that Harry Potter has been over and done with for quite a while (and because I just plain didn't like the last 2 books), and since I've joined the Animorphs lj community, I have regained my interest in Animorphs. I'm working on rereading the series as well as actually finishing it. I also just watched all the show's episodes.

And I was an Andalite for Halloween :) which was very well received.

I'm liking this community so far because it seems more intelligent and populated by more older members than other communities and forums I seem to get sucked into/mod. And I can talk about a kid's series with people who can still appreciate it.

Hey, faerykore, glad you've joined us in earnest :) I saw your costume in the Halloween thread, and I think it kicked ass. Welcome (a little late..? Haha) to the forum!

Hey welcome I'm new here as well but just putting myself out there to learn, if you need any help I'm here For ya for I know how it is being a newbie. Are you new to RPing? I have been RPing for a long time mainly on MYSPACE but I retired for about a year but now I'm back so again if you wanna RP ill be happy to help ya

Hello!  I'm DinosaurNothlit, but I usually go by Dino, DN, or Nothlit.

Wow, I just looked at your Andalite costume, and :o that is EPIC!!

Anyway, welcome to the forum!  Er, well, a delayed welcome, in any case, since you said you've actually been hanging around here since May.

We have the e-books, so you can read the books you've missed, whenever you like.  You probably already knew that, but just in case you didn't, I thought I'd mention it.

Yep, I'm using the ebooks to reread the series. I'm on book 7 now.

Hello faerykore/Julie. Can I call you Julie? Anyways, I'm the intimidator "03" aka Dale Earnhardt. So hello. You say you were here so I can imagine my 100,000,000 other names. And like you I'm fairly new....couple months....not new new but fairly new and haven't read all the books either. I think I'm on.....40 something or rather.....I think.

Anyway hello. Hope you enjoy....Talking on RAF....LOL.
