Anyone Need Animorphs books? (physical copies?)
« on: August 01, 2009, 05:03:25 PM »
Where I live (Manitoba, Canada) there are TONS of Animorphs Books in all the thrift stores (most of them in good condition!). If any of you are willing to pay me for the books, i can send them to you.

This could be especially useful if you can't find any books where you live.

Please either reply here, or PM me to discuss getting your hands on a book.

I need TAC, Visser, #53, and #54.

I hated #54 so much that I dunno if I want a copy of it, but it might be good to have on hand anyway.

My collection got trashed when I left my parents.  >:( (Not my doing, but theirs.)

EBay animorphs aren't bad when you consider cost per book seperately. I paid about 160 for the entire series

Everyone should check their local actual Bookstores (Indigo, Chapters, Rand McNally, etc.) because Mine had a copy of #11 randomly, and currently has 2 copies of 51.

I don't know if you guys can see this (it's a canadian link), but there are many available to order online. In Stock too!!

The only one I'm missing is Alternamorphs #2.

Although if anyone wants a copy of #3, #4, and #9 in French, I'm willing to send them for the cost of shipping, since I found a copy of them in English.

no book stores around here sell them anymore. I remember a few years ago they had a big sale on ani books...2 bucks each brand new. I stocked up haha.

I mean the sort of person who doesn’t feel too upset about the prospect of a weekend spent seeing no one, and reading good books on the couch. It wasn’t like I was a people hater or anything. I enjoyed activities and the company of friends. But they were a side dish. I always thought I would also be happy without them."

I was wondering if an Admin or mod could pin this on the first page, because I am still willing to send these books to people. and then other members who have books they are willing to send can post them here too.

Remember:

The thrift stores here only have up to about book 20, and even then they don't have all the books in that range. I am willing to ship to anywhere in Canada, U.S., and some of central america. Australia and Europe are a bit of a stretch, but if i can trust that you'll pay me the shipping, i'll send them.

Abe books has most of the books for about $1 apiece plus shipping.  I don't know if they're available everywhere, but if you're in their area, that'd probably be a good option.

As for me, I have extra copies of #5, Megamorphs 1, Megamorphs 2: Part 1, and #36.  Don't know anything about how to ship them to anyone, but I have them, and would be willing to let them go for free to a fellow RAFian (as long as they'd be willing to cover the shipping or whatever).

Sadly, I wrote my name in my extra copies of #5 and MM1 (I was paranoid about losing my Animorphs books as a kid, so I always wrote my name on the back cover, apparently not realizing it when I already had a copy of that book; fortunately I finally figured out not to do this on MM2P1 and #36).

But, please, don't think of them as "defaced."  Think of them as "autographed by DinosaurNothlit"!

I bought all the volumes who wasn't translated in French, in English on Abebooks or another website like that. It was pretty easy to find them all. And many of them send everywhere. For example, I have Australian, American and Canadian versions ;) or at least sent from there.
