Why would that be a sad moment? It was the best part of book 9. Hilarious!

In book one, Visser Three is one of the most menacing, cruel, and terrifying villains since, I don't know, Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty.

For the first eight books, he maintains this threat over the Animorphs.

Then they tell him to bathe in grape juice to get rid of the skunk smell.

That was the day all of Visser Three's credibility as an awesome villain died. He had a couple of rebirths throughout the series, but could you really take him seriously after that?

Because I couldn't :(

No I couldn't. I've said before that V3 suffers badly from villain decay, and book 9 is likely the starting point. As funny as it was, you're right.

I have two moments in the book series:
#8 When Jake and Marco take Ax to see a movie: "GLOBULES!!!"

Megamorphs #1 When Jake screams at Marco: "DO YOU JUST HATE TRASH CANS?!?"

ps I think the funniest moment in all of the books is when Jake and Ax are the last two left on Leera in #18, and Jake says something like "You know Ax you don't have to call me Prince when it's just the two of us. You can refer to me as the Jake formerly known as Prince."

omg I died but then she reused that joke like 3 books later and kind of diluted it :/ but W/E I THOUGHT THAT WAS PERFECT

Yeah, and Ax calls him that later. Marco said how horrible the joke was, and Jake gets indignant because it was his joke.

Yeah Marco said it was lame and then he used it like 3 books later, so Marco's got the same issue as Dane Cook, it seems. Except Marco can be funny.

The whole scene in #27 when Erek's hologram freezes up and Rachel buys him designer underwear and Marco comes in with a "King Kong vs. Gudzilla" sandwich board and he packs a "trendily dressed Bill Clinton" out of the mall (haha I'll never forget that part).

ahahaha
That scene was so amazing.
"He's an android!  He doesn't need underwear!"  "Oh...maybe I'll give them to Jake."

I also love the scene in #51 (?) where Marco and Tobias escape from the Yeerks in a tank and then flatten Chapman's house.  That whole book has so many great moments between those two...
(I kind of ship them in like a platonic way)

I remember some big rig tailing them, and Marco or tobias pointing the gun at him to get him to back off.

Tobias: We can't shoot that guy!
Marco: He doesn't know that.
