So, I saw this thread awhile ago when I was being a lurker. Since then, i've been thinking hardcore about songs that could fit the characters. I was driving to my dad's house today (he lives like two hours away) and on the road I picked a bunch of songs! Most are for Rachel/Tobias because i'm obsessed, but there are a few for everyone else as well. I bolded the bits of the lyrics that I think are especially relevant--i'm a dork, I know.

I love it cause it's like Jake doesn't view himself as a hero because he calls so many tough shots that decide whether people live or die; also, in the fight against the yeerks there are casualties like Hork-Bajir who are controllers getting killed. All he knows is that he loves Cassie, haha.
My second one is Maybe I'm Amazed, the version by Jem, and it's for Rachel/Tobias, from Rachel's POV. Because she feels all misunderstood, etc... Funny, I actually found a Jake/Cassie vid for this on youtube when I did the search. I just feels like it fits better for R/T because she's conflicted about her own dark nature.
