Fiction shouldn't be a sub-board of RP

It's really simple, original Fiction and Original RPG need to be separate boards. The way it is now people may mistake original fiction threads for RP's and ruin the story's continuity.

I'm not inclined to agree.  If you read what you're clicking then you shouldn't get confused.  Why would they're be a child-board for more RP's in a board for RP's?

If this really becomes a problem.  Like it happens more then once or twice, then ill make a new one.

I already feel like the general section is way too big, a kind of side point.

No disrespect, but I still think that General fiction shouldn't be in RP.

Maybe there should be an entirely new catagory (Fan Works or something) that contains boards for Original fiction and art, Original RP's, Other Fan creations, and Other Fan Rp's. It's just an idea.

Or if you don't want to split them you could switch them so that RP is inside Fiction, which I think makes more sense.

Like I said before, these are just ideas. It's not like I think that just because I think something makes it automatically right. (It's acctually usually the other way around.) I just think it would go a long way to prevent things like what happened here where Shock started posting story bits in Estelore's fic thread because it seemed to be in the RP board, not the fiction board.

well I say it's possible for it to happen but it doesn't happen to me cuz I barely visit those boards at all...

I think it would be a good idea, potential mix-ups completely notwithstanding.  I mean, the Animorphs RPs and fics get separate boards, don't they?  Organizationally, it just makes more sense that way.  RPs and fan-fiction are different enough as concepts that neither should have to be a sub-board of the other.

That's my two cents on the issue.

Alright well that's one. My main points are as follows:  General section would be 6 boards long, and so far there is one example of confusion.

I just realised. Wouldn't it be better if they were reversed? The main board will be General Fan-Fiction / Art & the sub-board would be General Role-Playing.

That makes more sense to me than separating them.
