Silver could only stare at the grave marker. Tears fell gently. She had only known him from recebt encounters and few memories. When Rayker showed with Desmond, her fists clenched and small flames licked around her fists at the very sight of her grandfather. She calmed herself and stepped up to the grave. She took a handful of dirt that covered the grave and placed a seed within her palm. She pressed her hands together and stuck thwm into the top layer of soil in the grave and began pushing the soil together. When she reached the surface, still rubbing her hands together she pulled her hands apart gently and there in the middle of Fletcher's grave was a large flower with irredescent rainbows streaked through it. This flower is given to the dearly departed to give them eternal life after death. She stayed knelt beside his grave a bit longer.

Morgan knelt down carefully, favoring his side still, and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

Andromeda came around to Silver's other side and did the same.

Inside, Gaz was still sitting at the bar.

"Sometimes I think I've been here too long," she said to no one in particular. "Maybe we were better off where we were."

She placed a hand on either of her prents on her shoulders. It was fate that brought her here and she now had her family back but she was sure the adventures were far from over.

Ossanlin looks back at Mar as he speaks.  <An 'alliance' Mar?>  Ossanlin chuckles mirthlessly.  <I would consider you my friend...but I had assumed the feeling flowed in only one direction.  After all, how can an avatar of an emotionless being return feelings of friendship and camraderie?>  Ossanlin shakes his head again.  <So is that why you would be unhappy?  Because you would lose the advantage of an ally?  For a moment, it felt like you actually might have cared about me as a person and not a resource.>  Ossanlin carefully rebuilds a few of the walls that Mar had torn down.  His 'voice' becomes less emotional.  <I'm sure you can find other allies.>

Fisher gingerly took the coolant from the Andalites blue hands.

"Thanks, this will definitely help." Turning around he jogged back outside with the coolant sloshing about the contained and handed it to the chief engineering officer.

"Monk, how's this?" Monk's grubby hands snatched it and held it before his eyes, analyzing it. He nodded.

"Hmm, good, but we need much, much more." Monk took off inside with the coolant, leaving Fisher to scrounge for more. Heading back into the GESB, he looked around and again called out.

"Does anyone here have large amounts of Zero Space drive coolant?"

"Do it." Morgan had said. It was a simple instruction, but it was the answer to their battles with morality. Rayker's concussion gun clicked as the power level was upped a few levels... not all the way to 'full', but high enough to do the job, even at the wide, flattened setting he'd decided to use. The gun whined softly. Carson and Antonio released their hold of Desmond, and he fell to his hands and knees; he was conscious enough to catch himself. The two stepped away, as the others had. Desmond looked up at his executioner with a hateful glare. Rayker paused for a split second. He thought he should say something, but there wasn't anything fitting. He fired from three feet away.

Desmond's body scraped on the ground as the sheer force hit him. He only traveled a few feet before stopping at the end of a strip of  now-bare ground. The dirt and grass his body had plowed up was piled behind him. His head rested in an awkward position, since his neck had been snapped instantly on impact, and his limbs lay in a heap. There was no blood, only the tell-tale signs of a broken neck and those of snapped and shattered bones throughout his body.

Gaz turned her head at a sound from outside the bar. That would be Desmond's send off. At least that was one less psycho to worry about.

"Cheers," Gaz said as she raised her glass briefly.

Outside, Andromeda flinched at the sound of the gun going off and her father's body hitting the ground. Her and Desmond had never been close at any point during her life. He was never much of a father, if one could even use that word to refer to him.

Desmond was gone, and that was one less corrupted CG official to worry about. Morgan saw Andromeda flinch out of the corner of his eye. He adjusted his position so he was behind both her and Silver. Protectively, he wrapped a muscular arm around both of them.

"Job well done," Morgan commented to Rayker.

Fisher heard the booming report of the firearm from outside the bar. Before anyone could blink, the hefty magnum was out of its holster and in his hands. Vaulting over several tables he ran outside, gun leveled in front of him.

He could see a man, obviously dead, crumpled in a heap, and several people around him, one holding what looked like a concussion gun. In a loud authoritive voice Fisher called out.

"Hold it! What the hell is going on out here? Who's he, why's he dead?" He nudged his gun barrel towards the corpse, though keeping it constantly trained on the shooters.

Terenia stills, her fingers freezing in the middle of tearing a large chunk of leaf away from it's stem. She listens to Salem speak, her face revealing no emotion. He seems sincere, but she cannot help thinking that his situation likely is rather dissimilar to her own.

"No one cares about me," Terenia says quietly at Salem's retreating form, "at least...not anymore." She cannot imagine a world where anyone would forgive her for her actions, let alone begin to understand them. However, at Salem's wish of luck she realizes that she is not quite done here yet. She has to at least try to make them understand.

Too many people have been hurt on account of me, Terenia thinks, remembering Myitt's pained expression, I cannot leave until they know that I am the one to blame, no one else.

With a heavy sigh Terenia uncrosses her legs and uses a low branch to pull herself to her feet. She is not relishing what lies ahead - it will be difficult to speak with the others while maintaining the wall she has so carefully built. Nevertheless, it must be done. Terenia turns and begins to walk back the way she came, towards her sisters grave.

Morgan looked up from where he was at the newcomer waving a gun around. He sighed and stood up, trying to hide the wince as he kept a hand over his left side.

"Captain Odysseus Morgan," said the large minotaur, introducing himself. "Short version is that he was a very bad man who caused trouble for a lot of people. Put that gun away and I might consider telling you the whole story. Not to mention I have a person inside the bar who can come up behind you."

Myitt smiles ruefully.  "Actually, Ossanlin, I really doubt he can," she says, starting to walk past the two of them.  Then she pauses, turning back to Ossanlin.

"My friend," she says, walking up to him.  "I know we've been through...way more than we had ever expected, tonight and the last few days.  If I leave here now, I want to leave as your friend and ally."  She bites her lip.  "If you'll still accept me?"

Corliss steps through the woods and up to Tora's fighter, finally getting a good reading on the signal, but the ship was closed up.

He tries Tora's personal communicator, the one she had hung on to for all these years.

"Tora, love," he says, speaking into his own comm link.  "It's Corliss.  Are you in your ship, or elsewhere?"

Claxter was alone again. There wasn't anyone around to talk his problems out with. He decided to try to find his Prince. The last he had seen of his Prince, Ossanlin was in Hork-Bajir form in the area where someone had been killed. He went there, and followed the path of blood to Tamora's gravesite to see if anyone was there.

As the comm device in Tora's holster pocket hisses to life, she gives Al a tight-lipped apologetic frown and turns slightly away from him. Extracting the old Yeerkish device, she compresses the reply button and answers, "Corliss, I'm sorry; I did not think you would be contacting me so quickly. I am in the Bar, but I am happy to leave the planetoid now, if you are ready."

Corliss frowns again, this time at the device.

"No, Myitt's run off somewhere, I want to make sure they're all right before we leave," Corliss replies, starting to head idly in the direction of the bar.  "She's not in there with you, is she?"

"I have not seen her since we parted ways outside your ship," Tora apologizes. "If you require assistance in finding her, do not hesitate to let me know. I suppose that, otherwise, I will be in the Bar."

She reaches for her drink and takes a sip, and then gives an immediate grimace. "Eghhhh!" she says, rubbing her tongue along her teeth, as if trying to scrub the residual taste away.
