Mike is about to go and retrieve Corliss when the commotion outside causes him to pause.
He steps to the hatchway and watches in disbelief as the situation some distance away unfolds.
"No, Terenia, you're stronger than this," he whispers desperately while Terenia demorphs to Efaen's Andalite form.
Too late. It's over too quickly, and he looks away, disgusted and a little afraid that the person he and Corliss care for could be so...so cold. She'd just murdered her own sister!
He doesn't realize he's crying until a couple of tears spill down his cheeks, and he hastily wipes them away with a shaking hand.
He glances hesitantly at Tora, red eyed and confused.
"No, perhaps you're right," he says tremulously. "Oh, God, I don't know what we should do...we can't have...she just murdered her, Tora. For what? For what?"

Myitt pushes through the trees, grumbling to herself about why she's even bothering to try and help the human girl she had only just temporarily inhabited not long before.
The scene she walks in on, however, is precisely what she had hoped wouldn't happen. Though somehow...somehow some part of her knew it would, knew as soon as she had left Tamora's head that she was sealing the girl's doom.
She covers Tara's mouth, wide-eyed, then turns away from the bloody mess, unable to face Ossanlin or Terenia, the latter of whom was already trying to hurl the fact of what she had just done out of her system.
<Tell me again, Myitt, how you cared so much about that girl, you sent her to her execution,> Tara says lowly. Furiously.
