Dara's face gets more serious and he asks do you know if there is a plan for when the shuttle gets on CG ship?"

"Not entirely. Parker's good at planning. Personally I've been out of practice at leading forces. Obviously we'll need to find our friends quickly, and be prepared for them to be used as body shields if they aren't deemed too important as specimens to risk getting killed. We'll also want to find a way to get an advantage on our hands. Acquire a bargaining chip of our own, perhaps."

Salem stopped and stood in the doorway of his ship, his casual demeanor beginning to evaporate. He leaned against the wall, and allowed his hands to slide closer to his pants pockets, one of which still held the copper gun he'd drawn for use against Temrash. "Myitt One-Nine-Five... that's a Yeerk name, isn't it? And they're Yeerks too?" he asked, indicating Alic and Tora. "I'm starting to think the Andalites might not be the most annoying species in your war after all. Keshin isn't here. I didn't land so I could hand him over. I landed so I could convince you he's gone. I can't give you something I don't have. I'll invite you aboard to see for yourself, but don't think it's an invitation to threaten me, Yeerk." He very nearly growled the last part.

"Keshin stole from me and escaped into the woods. Al and I were searching for him when you decided we needed to be shot at." He stood up straight and looked Myitt in the eyes, narrowing his own. "Yeerk, if a bounty hunter killed your friend, you need to get revenge on the client. If you keep going after people the way you did me, you're going get yourself killed."

Myitt glares up at Salem, considering.  Doubt flickers in her mind.  Every logical piece of evidence pointed toward Keshin being on this ship.  Would Temrash have lied to her?  Perhaps.  There was always the chance that Keshin had somehow escaped.

Finally she replies, "Don't lecture me, kid.  Keshin and I have a very long history, and if you're harboring him out of good will, you hardly have an accurate perspective of our situation."

Myitt glances at Alic and Tora, then back at Salem.  "If there has indeed been some sort of..."  She twirls a hand, searching for the word.  "...misunderstanding, then I would be happy to repay you for your trouble."

She hops onto the bottom of the ramp, boots clanking as she slowly, reluctantly, walks up to grin face to face at Salem.

"So mainly we don't have a plan just charge in find them and charge out? That works for me. I like that kind of plan." Dara smiles.

Alic couldn't help but be a little relieved when Salem seemed to get a little uncomfortable. She raised her tail just slightly when he reached for his pocket. If he was getting prepared, so was she. Since Myitt didn't answer about whether or not her and Tora were also yeerks, Alic didn't didn't reply either.
Alic ****ed an eyebrow in amusement. Salem had changed completely in just a few moments. She knew he was definitely hiding something. Alic followed closely behind Myitt, tail at the ready. She wanted Salem to realize she would have no problem dicing him to bits if he tried something stupid.

((Okay, part of me staying away was the multiple universe merge thing...I still think we should keep this GESB Animorphs-centric with other chars. making their way in the Animorphs' 'verse...but that's just my two cents.  The other reason I wasn't posting is that I was waiting for Ronny to post.  It is becoming increasingly more obvious that Ronny isn't going to be posting, so I suppose I should come up with something new...sigh.))

Ossanlin looks around the room and notices it's missing a few familiar faces.  Terenia and Corliss hadn't followed him in...probably a good thing...even though Terenia and Tamora were now on bad terms, he didn't think it would've done Terenia any good to see her sister threatened.  But the bar was also missing other faces...Alic and...Myitt!  She was the other suspected mark!  Ossanlin raises his eyebrows and excuses himself from Ronny's presence.  He stops for a moment behind Tamora, sending her a private thought.  <<I notice some people are missing Tamora.  If I find them hurt or worse, and I find out you're responsible...you'll pay for every drop of blood on those filthy hands of yours.  What happened, the abduction...the murder of your Yeerk...I abhor it, I'm sorry it happened...but that does not absolve you of any of your crimes.  You need to think about where you are...this place isn't very Empire-friendly, Imperial.>>  Ossanlin 'spits' out the word "Imperial" as if it leaves a dirty taste behind.  <<Figure it out.>>  His tone is harsh, tempered somewhat by anger and worry, emotions that don't usually break through his exterior defenses...but both of these sisters had a way of bringing out the worst in him.

Ossanlin steps out of the bar again, looking around for any sign of Myitt.  If only he could sense...but he was completely drained, a silver-blade transformation would probably knock him out cold with immediate results.  He pulls out his handheld computer and interfaces with it, commanding it to sweep the surrounding area for life-signs and heat-sigs large enough to be sentient.  Those silver-blade senses were becoming a crutch that he was leaning too heavily upon...he needed to remember the other tools at his disposal.  There're no readings near the bar or it's immediate vicinity, however, while sweeping the forest he notices several life-signs, many large enough to be andalite, human, hork-bajir, or other sentient.  There was also one rather large reading that almost had to be a ship, running or recently deactivated, out in the woods.  The heat-sig seemed similar to a Yeerk ship, but it was a bit off.  Not a bug then...but...yes, it must be Temrash's ship...a modified fighter.  Perhaps Temrash would have more information...his main concern was what would happen if Myitt and Keshin ended up in the same place at the same time...if Myitt really was the other mark.  Temrash had been pursuing the ship that Keshin had boarded...he remembers now.

Ossanlin takes off at a gallop towards the larger heat-signature, flying through trees and brush, hooves trampling grass underneath.  It seems like an inordinate amount of time passes...if only he could dilate time around himself...NO...he had to stop leaning on his Silver Blade abilities, and always thinking about how they could help him wasn't going to make him any more resourceful.  Finally he bursts into a small clearing...two ships on the ground instead of one.  Odd that the other one hadn't put out any heat-sigs...His eyes, now attuned to the darkness, catch Myitt going up the ramp to the other ship.  <Myitt!  Be careful!  That's the ship Keshin boarded!>  He gallops to the front of Temrash's ship, right hand reaching for one of his custom Shredders.  <And the one that impacted me!>  As he reaches the ship he notices the two others in the clearing...Alic...h is hearts jump a bit despite himself...the sight of her usually does that to him, and another human he doesn't recognize...perhaps someone Myitt knows...she certainly seemed to be with Myitt.  Strange that he'd never seen her before...

His hand rests on the grip of his shredder, free of the mag-strap and loose in its holster, ready to be drawn lightning-quick.

((Chad, I don't remember where Temrash is...I don't know if Oss would've seen him at any point or not.  Sry I just don't have the stamina to weed through 10 pages of posts.  >_<  Also I'm assuming the ships are in some sort of clearing...if not just let me know and I'll modify.  Also I don't know for sure if Tora's still in human morph...))

((You got it right, Luke -- Tora is still in human morph.))

Tora's grip tightens on the Dracon as Myitt moves onto the ramp, the weapon's weight and the strength of her morphed hand nearly the only reassuring aspects of her surroundings.

Startled by the abrupt sound of hooves crashing through the foliage behind them, she raises the Dracon, scanning back and forth through the trees, uncertain of whether she should pull the trigger. It could be anyone; it could be Corliss or-- A moment later, she is glad she has hesitated. Stepping out from the cover of the trees is a face she dimly recognizes from long ago; from what Myitt has said, it must be the War Prince.

It is strange to see Ossanlin; it gives a sensation a bit like peering into a clouded mirror. The space-time discrepancies entangling the Bar like a knotted kafit bird nest have once again proven dizzying.

If what Ossanlin and Temrash have said is true... "Keshin must be hiding nearby," Tora murmurs. Raising her voice, she calls out, "Use caution, Myitt." Tora raises her Dracon again and proceeds after her friend, eyes narrow, feeling more confident--and simultaneously nervous--now that there is a third Andalite backing Myitt up.

((Teach, you have yet to respond to Thordon: http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=2089.msg490060#msg490060 Thanks.))

Parker shook his head at Silver's response, "I was only kidding. You know Thor could've just opened the door for us." As they sat down, Parker began checking his weapons, double-checking that they had enough ammo, and that the barrels were clean. When Dara commented on their lack of planning, he felt the need to speak, "We can't plan anything. We don't have any intelligence on what to expect when we arrive. W e don't know how many men are on his ship, we don't know where anything is on his ship, and we don't know where he would stow our friends. We go in, we fight our way through, find Morgan, Fletcher, and Asda, and then get out. That's the only plan we can muster right now."

The Director was happy that his suggestion was accepted. He waited a while for the other two to exit the main area before he himself withdrew as well. He entered the hall where the drama from before occurred. He spoke up as he headed into the bathroom, "Be out in a second."

Silver stopped at his statement. "Okay do I forgot. Still a little under." She said. She walked into the shuttle and listened to them talk about a plan. "One thing is for sure. They won't see us coming. As soon as we take off I'll conceal us. I'll need a little bit of silence to concentrate. Not total silence but you get the idea." She said looking around to find the exact center of the room.

Gaz walked down to the shuttle and said, "Ok, we're all set to go. The Pride here is ready to back us up should we need it when we're getting in or out. Let's take this shuttle and get moving. Gotta pay Desmond a little visit."

Cody didn't have to go, so he went out the back door and looked around. Nothing much was happening there, so he went in the direction of Oss' ship while staying within sight of the back door. No one followed him out, it seemed, which was good. He hoped The director really could get inside the ship, and thoughts of rendering the ship inoperable did occur to him. It would help their escape.

((I know Parker, sorry. I've been crazy busy this week and I usually post in the mornings before work. Sometimes I only have time to write a response for one character. It's the weekend, though, so I can catch up. :) ))

Tamora freezes mid-turn towards the back hallway when the Andalites hateful thoughts invade her head, violating her mind. She takes on the appearance of a cornered animal, her body rigid and face chalky white, as though she is afraid that Ossanlin has only to think of killing her and it will be done. Then, just as abruptly, his thoughts and presence are both gone and Tamora feels her muscles relax. Zorish, like a good Yeerk, had hated Andalites. Tamora, however, recognizing her own human weaknesses, was terrified of them, and Ossanlin seemed to be the worst the Andalites had to offer. Cruel, self-righteous and meddlesome.

"And hypocritical," she adds to herself, forcing herself to move forwards towards the dark hallway. As soon as she enters the shadows her spirits lift. She is out of the public eye now, a much safer place for her to be. Quietly she follows Cody down the back hallway and through the door that leads outside.

---

"I don't really know," Trey admits, shrugging sheepishly, "I mean, it depends what's on it. I was looking for information that might help me with...well...with fighting. With changing things. I really don't know where to start, and I figured that my dad's old files was as good a place as any.

---

"Nothing else is going to get blown off," Terenia says huffily, "'sides, I can take care of myself. C'mon, don't we have a brother to rescue?"

She does not wait for a response from him, instead stalking noisily through the forest in the direction that the ships were last seen.

"You don't look so hot, Tamora." Cody said. He thought of telling her not to be such a wuss, but then if he had been saner he's be more than just a little nervous. "If we get out of here, we could tell the Empire about this place and you'll get your revenge. Though we'll just keep that between us Emperials."
