Keshin nods quickly, opting not to say anything while the conversation between Myitt and Salem goes down. He was surprised to find out that Myitt was on the ship that was attacking him. I mean she had beef with him, but to kill him over Terenia was a bit of a stretch. <Unless...unless we hurt Hadrin very badly and now he's dead.>

<It wasn' on purpose!>

<Yes, I know. But Myitt might not know that. Even though she knows that we don't usually kill anyone who is not our target.>

<Ooooh, that's trouble. Hell hath no fury like a rebel scorned.>

<No kidding.>

Mar smiles at the thought of going into Elayne's ship. "I would not mind taking my repose aboard your ship. But..."

Mar's face descends into worry as a look comes over him. "...I have no memories of sleep in any of my incarnations. They were...deemed too inconsequential when I entered. Is losing consciousness...fri ghtening? What does it feel like? Although I admit it is peculiar that I have not really slept at all since coming here."

"Why don't you cut the crap?" Myitt says harshly, adjusting her sweaty hands on the controls.  "I've talked with Temrash, who was poisoned, by the way.  How interesting.  I know Keshin is on your ship, so why don't you hand him over and we don't have to trade any more barbs, hmm?  I don't understand what your attachment is to a criminal who would kill you, his savior, for the right price."

---

Corliss looks back in the gloom of the trees.

"T...Terenia?"  He squints.  "Is that you, love?  Are you all right?"  He starts towards her.

((ahhh total chaos. Can't keep up! Okay, sorry to all the people involved with the CG stuff. I am going to totally ignore you for awhile since it really doesn't involve my characters and it's just confusing me. :P Warren, there are still plenty of people on the ground, but not necessarily involved in the conflict with Gaz's characters. Chad - I can't remember if Cody ever responded to Tamora.....if he did, do you happen to know what page it happened on?))

Trey shakes his head, wiping some of the residual vomit from his face and looking down at his filthy hands. "We lived on government run facilities that were made for grubs. They, uh...they kept the boys and the girls separate most of the time."

Pulling himself to his feet, Trey wobbles slightly. When he steadies himself one hand trails to his breast pocket, checking to make sure that the computer chip is still secure.

"So, any idea where I might find a shower around here?" He asks with a lopsided smile that can barely be seen through the caked ash and blood and filth covering his skin.

----

"Corliss?" Terenia splutters. She tries to stand in the muck, which is at least as high as her knees, "Ugh....yeah...I'm fine. I fell, is all. Got a little dirty." A little dirty seems to be a bit of an understatement. She is literally dripping with mud. It has turned her blonde hair brown and completely covered the Imperial uniform that Myitt lent her. She looks like one big, brown, goopy amorphous swamp monster.

After that little episode, Cody took in what tamora had said. "I know what it feels like to not have anyone care about me. I was deemed too dangerous to myself and others, so they tucked me away in a room where it seemed like the only people who knew I existed were the doctors that kept me drugged up on meds, and other people like myself."

Salem frowned. Why was he interested in Keshin? Now that he'd found out the bounty hunter would probably not be able to help him, did he have any reason not to turn him over? He shook his head to clear it of those thoughts. He wasn't going to leave this job half-done, even if the rules had changed halfway through. Besides, Keshin was kind of growing on him.

"Oh, come on. It was just a little poison," he chuckled. "Tell me Temrash isn't still whining about that. I'd offer to turn Keshin over to you when I find him, but I'm not convinced you won't shoot me for it. If I find him first, I can't promise there'll be anything left for you. Still got a problem with it, you'll have to catch me first"

He'd noticed Keshin's silence. He stopped transmitting. "Kess, you can speak while the communicator's open. It won't transmit your voice unless you specifically command it to." He glanced around at the ceiling and walls. "Al, how's the spark net look?"

"Almost full, actually. Ready to rock," said Al. The ship had almost reached the edge of the atmosphere, and Al had begun to level out, readying it for a low orbit

Thordon shrugged, "I"m sorry, I don't know of one. However I'm certain that at least one of these ships should have one. The big ones the pirates inhabit seem to be made for long-term travel; so theoretically, there should be one there. Although if you're mostly worried about your face, you could just use the bar's bathroom."

Parker smiled when Silver sat back in her chair. He was proud of her for realizing when it was best to save her strength. He also greatly admired her need to take action. Her drive to help in some way. He felt the same; he hated just standing/sitting around and doing nothing. Sure, there are always times of waiting for missions and clearances; but at least in those times you're always poised to take off, or strike in some way. This was a sort of mix. It was like being in transport to your next objective. The only difference is that you had no idea what the situation was. There were no recon maps to memorize, no strategies to bounce off of others, no way to kill time other than sitting, waiting and possibly create conversation. It also might help the restless feeling if the ship would lift off at some time. Normally whenever Parker got on a transport, it was always edging away, ready to fly at a moment's notice. He wasn't used to being one of the first to get on a transport while they prepared to start the engines.

((Thanks Chad :) ))

"You seem oddly rational for an insane person," Tamora notes. Her voice still sounds a little shrill, and her face is pale. She sets her drink down on the counter firmly, and when she pulls her hands away she realizes that they are shaking.

Andalites, she hisses internally. Somehow she cannot bring the same rage to her thoughts that Zorish had when thinking about their species. The fear was too overpowering, and she was too helpless. She casts a wary glance towards Ossanlin and Ronny before turning her stool back around so that it faces the bar. Keeping her head down and her lips still she whispers as loudly as she dares.

"Perhaps we should try to recover your lost friend?"

---

"Yeah," Trey says, nodding. He still looks a bit lightheaded, but begins to set off towards the bar nonetheless. "Thanks again, by the way. Why are you here, by the way? I mean...are you stuck? If you miss your partner so much you could just go home, couldn't you?"

"I have been acting somewhat rational lately. That's odd. Not really sure how to explain it. Then again it has occurred to me to use my Yeerk's ship guns to shoot down Parker because he shot me, and he's all armored and junk. Then there's the fact that those two Andalites don't scare me. I don't know. maybe it's because I'm being watched, or because I'm a little worried about Sukohn."

"I don't really know what we could do to get Sukohn without Assanlin's help." He said quietly, mocking Ossanlin's name. "Even my little blue shadow there can't really help."

Thordon thought for a moment. He had a strangely confused and calculating expression. "I... don't think so. I've always needed the Energies of others to boost my abilities to open a portal. However with the experience of lending my Energies to Ossanlin to help stabilize his control of the Space/Time Continuum; I may be able to do it on my own. However it will take time. Unless I can assemble a number of patrons to lend their Energies to me. Though I fear that won't happen since noone here can regenerate Energy quickly as an Anaron can. I may be able to borrow the Energies contained in their ships; however once more, their ships will be ineffective and powerless."

Silver ran through countless ways in her mind how she could help. But they all ended the same....she was too weak. She cursed herself. She had improved in her powers but she was still going. The CG would probably be able to help her, to hone in her powers....but that was something she would never let happen. She became lost in her thoughts, each one bringing some emotion or combination of emotions to her eyes and face.

Temrash noticed Silver in deep thought, and went over to put a hand on ther shoulder. "Don't worry Silver. We'll get them back." He said, thinking she was worried about her father and friends, rather than her own inadequacies. "we'll all do our best, regardless of how much or how little it is. No more or less is as much as anyone should ask."

Dara followed the armoured one into the ship and sat down next to him. "What are you? You are much too fast and big to be a regular human. But you are shaped like a human. That puzzles me."
----------------------------------------
I sat down next to the pilot's as the ship set down in front of the one building. John reached down and scratched my head out of habit. It felt good. He got up and said, "Well, let's check out what that commotion over by the other ship was all about." He opened the access ramp and I trotted and waited while he came. We then headed towards the group of people. "Hello. What's going on here? Is there any way in which we can help? I'm John by the way."

She looked to Temrash and gave a smile. "Thanks Temrash." She said. She patted his hand where it rested on her shoulder.

Corliss smiles deprecatingly, stepping over and kneeling to help Terenia up.

"Come on, then, ya great gooey mess," he says lightly.  He gently wipes some of the slime from her cheeks, grinning.  "Reckon I can still see you under there.  Now, come 'ead, before my brother blows himself to smithereens."

---

Myitt growls in frustration.  "As I've said, I know you have Keshin.  Why don't you give him up, because believe me, I absolutely will catch you."

<Whoa, whoa, wait.  Yeah, we'll catch him, unless he slices this ship in half, first!> Tara exclaims.

Parker looked to the new Hork-Bajir. There were minute differences between he and Temrash, but they were there. He laughed at the question made about his humanity. He looks straight into the Hork-Bajir's eyes, though all the Hork-Bajir could see was his own reflection in Parker's visor, and loses all emotion in his voice as he says, "I'm human. I'm not from your reality; but I'm human. I went through an operation to enhance my body when I was a child. Rest assured though, I am 150% human."

((Cobra, Warren, Just to let you know, Parker is 7' 6".))
