"It's worse than I feared. She's turning into Corliss!" Temrash said with fake shock and horror. After that he moved on. There was a commotion with Gaz's group, and it seemed something was wrong with Andromeda. She didn't look well, and Asda was hovering over her. He didn't think there was much he could do to help, though, so he just stayed out of their way.

Derrel finally got up the courage to ask the bartender if he had any work. The bartender thought a moment, then went into the back to get a broom. Derrel took it and started sweeping.

Ossanlin enters the bar and looks around sighing.  Why did he come here again?  It certainly wasn't to relax.  He finds himself wishing for some boring patrol runs.  He gestures to the BT, walking up to the bar a few meters down from Myitt.  The BT sets the fermented grass drink in front of Ossanlin and he sets it on the floor dipping his hoof in and drinking deeply.  He glances over at Myitt as Temrash walks away, before returning his attention to oblivion, eyes staring listlessly at the glass bottles behind the counter.

Parker watched Gaz rush in the bar to get Silver. He looked back at Terenia, but she seemed okay. The man near her seemed to have no want to hurt her, so he felt better about leaving. He went inside following Gaz and stood by as she collected Silver.

Thordon was taken aback by Temrash's accusation of execution. However Myitt seemed to want to leave that subject alone, so Thordon reached behind the bar, grabbing a shot glass and placed it next to Myitt's bottle, "Mind if I join you? No talking necessary."

Myitt waves a hand idly.  "Do what you want," she says, pouring herself another glass of redin.

((Clueless about what to do with Keshin. )= He needs some bounty hunter hugs. ^__^ ))

"Yes, you're quite right of course," states Mar, glancing about him nervously. He then takes Elayne's hand and begins walking. "Come, let us return to the Bar. Perhaps we will be able to determine the best course of action there."

Mar then frowns slightly. "I wonder whatever happened up there? It does not seem to have gone as planned. Perhaps I should have gone after all."

Thordon nods his head and takes the bottle after Myitt poured her drink and poured one for him. He then began matching Myitt, shot for shot.

After what feels like an infinitely long time Tamora stirs from her bed, crawling up from a deep haze. Slowly she pulls herself up to a sitting position, hands curling around the cold metal of the bed as she stares down at her legs. Her tears have run dry, and she has now begun sorting out her emotions in relation to the events of the past few days.

"The Yeerk rebel," she murmurs to herself, starting a mental list, "Myitt was her name, I think. Terenia. Perhaps the Andalite captain." She sighs, realizing the tall order in front of her. This was a job for Zorish, not her. You don't have Zorish anymore, she reminds herself. And it is the fault of those three at the very least.

"A bar," she murmurs. The Andalite captain had mentioned something about them having landed at a bar. Suddenly a drink sounded like a fabulous idea. She drags herself off of the bed and towards the now closed hatch of the Mirage.

---

Trey stands awkwardly over the pirates for a few minutes, until he gets the distinct impression that he is only getting in the way. Looking uneasy he edges away from them, back towards the table he had abandoned.

---

Terenia does not take her eyes off of a fixed point in the sky. She does not acknowledge The Director's presence. She simply lays there until Efaen's voice once again infiltrates her consciousness.

<Terenia, you only have four percent of time remaining in that morph.>

<Yeah,> Terenia responds. For a moment she is tempted to ignore the time limit, to just stay there staring at the sky forever. The thought is nice, but it is just that. A thought. Not her reality. Heaving a sigh Terenia pushes herself to her feet and steps off to the side of her ship, not out of view of The Director, but a few paces away, and begins to demorph.

The Director looks curiously at Terenia as she demorphs, "Why the change? Do you prefer the natural defenses to your original body?"

(Well cody is in the room. Keshin could talk to him in the hopes that he'd be sukohn and have something to give her or intents to try to pay her back. Being Cody, his intents would not be pure. He is tied to the bar, and Claxter is watching him.)

Elayne's frown echoed Mar's as she walked beside him towards the building. "They accomplished what they wanted. And you're in a limited form--although I suppose no more limited than most of the rest of us. In any case, I'm glad you stayed here."

She gave his hand a squeeze while lifting her other palm to open the Bar door. She spotted Ossanlin and murmured to Mar, "I owe him a few drinks. Probably Myitt, too, but..." The Yeerk rebel's posture was anything but inviting. Elayne began to lead Mar towards the Andalite when she abruptly noticed Cody at the bar. "They brought him back?" she hissed, recoiling.

((Hey, I just realized. What happened to Hadrin?))

After the ramp fully descends Tamora peeks out cautiously. She is glad to see that the crowd seems to have dissipated, and her sister with it. Glancing back at the safety of the ship Tamora takes a deep breath, steels herself, and walks down the ramp.

The trip to the bar is unhindered, but Tamora again cringes slightly as she reaches the front door. She can hear a good amount of noise inside, indicating that the crowd seems to have moved. Biting her lip nervously she cracks the door open, eyes scanning the interior room best she can. The Andalites stick out easily, and she also notes the rest of the Mirage crew aboard. Another sweep of the room reveals a number of strangers and, thankfully, no sister. Feeling her confidence raise ever so slightly she pushes the door open the rest of the way, clinging to the shadows near the wall as she makes her way to the bar counter. She takes a stool as far away from Myitt as she can manage.

---

Terenia glances at The Director, irritated at her solitude being interrupted. When she responds it is in such a halting, stiff way that it almost could have been Efaen speaking, if not for the sarcastic bite her words carry.

<I was approaching the two hour time limit. As comfortable as I am with the human body I am not particularly keen on becoming a permanent resident. Besides,> she adds darkly, glancing towards the bar, <I have no doubt that they will be coming for me soon.>

((Oops, you're right!  Poor Hadrin, I keep losing him in the shuffle...and Parker, Myitt isn't getting totally ****faced...she's only had two shots so far, so you can't just match her "shot for shot"...))

Hadrin, who had been whisked along with the crowd accusing Terenia, sighs and starts walking away from them.

<Where the hell are we?> Justin wonders.

<You tell me.  It looks like a bar,> Hadrin says curiously.  He walks up to the big wooden doors and pushes his way through.

The place has a strange, dusty odor.  The smell of sawdust, old blood and alcohol.  He looks around, almost immediately repelled by such a place...and somehow, attracted to it.  It was a strange sensation of conflicting emotion.

He spots Myitt and Corliss at the bar, and Tamora at the corner of the bar counter, almost in shadow.  Good, keep away from everyone, little human, he thinks to himself.  You'll only end up getting hurt even more in a place like this.

Hadrin sets his hands on his hips.  "Alright, then," he says to no one in particular.  "I guess there's nothing for it."  The alien parasite in the body of a 22-year-old African-American man in his black Imperial uniform, dirty with the windblown sand of two different deserts, sits at the bar some distance from Corliss and Myitt.  After what Myitt had done, he felt no particular desire to talk to her, either.

Myitt glances over at Thordon.  "Wow.  You have a ****ty day, too, or do you just like strong booze?"

Corliss narrows his eyes as Tamora steps in and takes a seat.  Now he's not quite sure how he could have confused her with Terenia--there was something much colder, much more offset about Tamora, even though the sisters were identical.  Truly identical, if Terenia had morphed Tamora's form to regain her human body.

Then again, Tamora had lost someone she had been close to.  Corliss finds himself gazing at Myitt, thinking about how far they've come and how ruthless she could sometimes be.  It made him a little sad, really.

((Thanks for the fix, T!))

((Tara, it was Thordon drinking with Myitt. The Director is outside with Terenia))

The bartender walks over to Tamora, a mildly questioning expression on his face.

"Scotch and water," she orders, keeping her voice low. While she waits for her drink her eyes continuously scan the bar at large, memorizing the faces of it's occupants. There are the Mirage passengers and crew, of course. Then there is the male human who seems to be rather attached to Myitt. Another Yeerk rebel, no doubt. A strangely old fashioned looking man is holding hands with a rumpled looking woman nearby. In the back corner there is a flurry of activity that she turns away from quickly. There are also several patrons sitting alone. Mostly human, although there is a Hork-Bajir and several other alien forms.

Tamora is drawn out of her observations as the bartender sets a tumbler in front of her, filled with a light brown liquid. She raises the scotch to her lips, grimacing as it burns her throat. Scotch was Zorish's drink of choice, never hers. She sets the tumbler back down and looks up to see the bartender flashing a notepad at her. 'Cash or tab?' is written on it.

"Tab," she says, "I have a feeling I might be stuck her for awhile."

Temrash noticed comeone come in, with an Emperial uniform, and sit down. Did he come off Ossanlin's ship? Temrash didn't remember. He probably did, but why? Temrash watched him for a few more seconds, then looked away. It probably wasn't important. Both Myitt and Ossanlin seemed quite down for coming from a successful mission. Terenia's sister looked quite bad as well. He noticed the Warrior seemed a bit less bummed out, however.

Claxter noticed his prince looking rather tired, and Myitt going through major guilt. He wondered why no one was keeping Terenia in sight, as he thought someone should. He didn't say anything, though. Cody just sat there drinking, not really caring that he was being watched by Claxter.
