((I know she's not knocking them back one after another, I never said the shots were in succession. I just meant that when she took a shot, he did too. That way it was implied that he drank when she did.))

Thordon shakes his head, "Oh no. I just felt like having a conversation. However you don't seem to be in a verbal mood, so I thought I'd join you rather than sit here like a wallflower."

The Director nodded, "Oh, so there's a limit? That's inconvenient. So do you keep a watch with ya? How do you know you're almost stuck?"

<Andalites have the natural ability to sense the passage of time,> Terenia says curtly. She considers remorphing human, but for the time being she feels more comfortable in the less expressive, more dangerous Andalite body. Efaen, too, feels more comfortable in her true Andalite form.

The Director responded, "Well that's helpful. How many creatures do you have on file there to change into?"

Fletcher came back into the bar lugging a large box with him. He was making his way towards the corner of the bar where the others were.

"Captain," Asda said, "I need you to hold Andromeda's arm. I need that blood sample."

Morgan held onto Andromeda's arm and Asda was able to get the sample she needed to scan on her computer.

"At least the process is going slow enough so I can get these scans done," Asda commented.

With that said, Andromeda winced again and bent over.

Asda rolled her eyes and began to work faster.

(I haven't quite decided what Andromeda is going to start changing into yet. lol)

<Enough.> Terenia responds curtly. She crosses her arms, regarding The Director coldly, <Why are you here?>

--

In the bar, Tamora takes another small sip of her scotch, wincing as she swallows. Now that her scan of the room is complete she contents herself with keeping her eyes focused on the woodwork in front of her and her ears open, listening in on the nearby conversations as discreetly as possible.

--

Trey looks up from his seat and takes note of Elayne and Mar re-entering the bar. He half raises his hand in greeting, but then hesitates. They are holding hands, and Elayne looks somewhat upset for some reason. Clearly none of his business. He lowers his hand back to the table, drumming his fingers on the wood awkwardly.

The Director crosses his arms, reflecting Terenia's body language, "Why does everyone have to have an ulterior motive to be next to someone, to have a conversation? I'm here because I'm interested. This is what I do, I travel Time and Space and meet people. I learn about them, get to know them, help them if needed. You're a Yeerk with a Human sister, which means you were human at one point too, possibly originally Human, and you're inhabiting an Andalite body. You're three species in one confused girl. You're something I've never seen before, a truly original person; and I'd like to get to know you. I'm not trying to hurt or help you, though I would if ya asked; I'm just trying to get to know you."

<You've got pretty crappy timing for socializing,> Terenia mutters, <I'm not exactly in the mood to play meet and greet. In case you hadn't noticed I've got a collection of Andalites that are intent on making my life miserable, not to mention that dapsen sister of mine running amok.>

She scuffs a hoof lightly in the gravel to show her displeasure, her stalk eyes trailing to watch the distant bar.

The Director lets his arms fall to his side, "All I see is a group of people trying to help, but because they don't follow the exact plan you've designed, you think they've failed and only complicated your situation more. Even if that is what happened, you can't change things to what they were, and no amount of crying, wallowing, screaming, or pouting is going to change that. Your Chutes and Ladders of a plan just got a huge shortcut put on it. You're at the end. You may not be ready for it, but here it is. You can do one of two things. Deny it, and watch as your finish line disappears, or you can face it and figure out how to live with it. Your sister's here, maybe it's not the way you wanted, but she is; and you have to deal with that.

"Again, you have amazingly selective hearing. The big Andalite said that you can stay with your host. It's obvious that she needs you in some way, and when she declares that, you two will be reunited. You don't have to worry about losing your sister, or your host. Go, don't be afraid to be happy." He motions to the door of the bar as though highlighting a pathway.

((Goooood job, Parker. You got Terenia to ramble incoherently. Bravo. :P ))

Terenia stares at The Director for a long moment with all four eyes before a loud, abrasive laugh erupts from her mind. She shakes her head in amusement, looking off towards the distant lights of the bar.

<It is truly amazing how thoroughly everyone misses the point,> Terenia says and, depite her laughter, her voice is dark, <I am not at the finish line, as you say. If anything the work that the Andalites have done has only made the situation more hopeless. How will I ever convince my sister that she is better off away from the Empire now? She's probably convinced herself that I orchestrated the whole damned thing and just waiting for an opportunity to crawl back to them. Everyone here seems to think that just because she does not have a Yeerk in her head, just because she is not physically on an Imperial ship, she is free. She is saved. You understand nothing.>

Terenia turns abruptly, walking away from The Director a bit before turning around and pacing back. She is working herself up into another rage, thinking out loud rather than addressing The Director.

<Of course it's selfish, dammit, but it's my job to fix things. I'm the one that screwed them up to begin with. I don't pawn my problems off on other people, and I don't see why they feel the need to pick them up when they just don't get it. I can't protect her anymore, that much is obvious. She's useless now.> Terenia looks up, as though suddenly remembering that The Director is present.

<And as far as my host is concerned,> she adds contemptuously, <Why don't you try being in a good mood when you're being constantly harrassed by Andalite superiority. You make our staying together sound like a picnic under the stars.> she snorts, <Trust me, it is far from it. We need one another, but we sure as hell do not like one another.>

Keshin sighs and turns away from Gaz and her group. They're obviously too busy among themselves to need or ask for his help. And he's incredibly bored. <Myitt's obviously lost in her alcohol. That's no help to us...>

<We could just--->

<No, wait. I think I see something.>

<....>

Keshin then notices what appears to be a differently dressed Terenia sitting at the Bar, drinking herself sick. That makes sense to Keshin, although he isn't sure where she's found the time to change her clothes. Keshin smirks and wanders over in Terenia's general direction, smirking. "In your situation, I guess you have the right to drink yourself to death. Did you ever find your sister or was that a lost cause?"
****************************************************************************************
Mar steps into the Bar carefully, still gripping Elayne's outstretched hand. The place hasn't changed much since he was last inside it, other than the number of people. The Bar's population has more than doubled, and the strong emotion he sensed is now inside the Bar and somewhat weaker. That may prove useful at a later time.

"Let us choose a table," Mar says, wandering about the Bar. "And although their mission was a success, we must still be careful. Sometimes triumph can bring despair, or even a greater defeat."

((:bow3: Thank you, thank you. :bow3: ))

The Director replied, “You have a sickness, you know that? You’re a broken record. Instead of listening, all you do is regurgitate the same nonsense over and over. ‘It’s my problem, not yours. You didn’t help, you hindered.’ No matter what is said, that’s the next thing to come out your head. You won’t shut up and think long enough to realize that you’re wasting words. You can’t change them catching your sister. So stop ****ing about it and concentrate on what to do next. It’s obvious that talking to yourself does you no good, and you work yourself in a self-pitied, self-victimizing tizzy. That’s why I’m here. That’s why I try to start conversations with you. To give you an outside perspective on things so that you can calm down and think rather than constantly reacting. But again, all you’re going to do is repeat your regurgitation. Complaining about the things you can’t change rather than accepting them and moving forward.”

The Director moves around Terenia and heads back towards the bar. He stops a little ahead of her and turns back around, "You know, you complain about having no friends, that they either leave, or you betray them. But you know what it really is? You don't listen to anyone but that poisonous voice in your head. She's your host, your tool, your vessel, not your friend. I think it's about time you realize that." With those words, The Director turns once more and walks away towards the bar.

(((Ugh. I'm sorry. I have been ya know.. working too much. Soon I start a new job... in a week.. where I'll be nothing but a pee on again and I'll have time for this place. <3 I am honestly too lazy to read pages back but I understand what's going on. Nothing huge right now. Alic's been unimportant in these events that have been happening so it doesn't matter what she's been doing))

Alic had demorphed and remorphed again, deciding it would feel good to be able to sit down, have a drink, and find out what she had missed later. She sat down at the bar and before she could open her mouth the bartender had brought over a bottle of Jager. Alic wrinkled her nose. "Actually, I was hoping for something sweet... Maybe a mango margarita?"
The bartender removed the Jager without a word, and a few moments later a large glass was placed in front of her full of a blended, yellowish, cold drink, complete with a red curly straw. She smiled and took the straw to her lips, taking a sip and trying to ignore everything happening around her.

Swordsons walked into the bar, still not quite sure where he was, but one thing he was certain of was that he wasnt in his own universe. His boots making a clinking and clanging sound with the spurs in back rattling with each step. All his weapon minus the crossbow with bolts strapped to his thigh and a boot knife were in his ship. He crossed his lower two of four arms across his shirtless abs and looked around. He had been returning from his most recent job when he suddenly appeared next to this bar, his ship already landed and powered down. He walked up to the bar and sat what looked like a Sunion(what he is) with only two arms and weaponless and sat down and said in his language (what is english) "where am I"

Alic took a sip out of her straw and looked to her left, then right, not knowing that the strange four-armed man was talking to her. "Oh.." She pushed her drink away a couple inches. "You're at the Space Bar..."
