"If you think you'll be ok, I'll let you have some space." Temrash said. He wasn't sure how well she'd handle being left alone, but if she felt ok he wouldn't hover over her. He went over and took a seat by Gaz and crew. Until Myitt came back, this was the group he was most associated with.

(Operation Cocoa Puffs was just an aside mission going to Earth, and doing a few things. Not very eventful)

<Perhaps not,> Efaen allows, although there is no kindness in her tone. Glancing down at Terenia she adds reluctantly, <I have a feeling that your loyalty will be tested soon enough. Your sibling has been gone for quite some time now, it is only a matter of time before they return. I think that it is time...> she hesitates, this is really the first time that she has admitted to her voluntary status. Her previous acceptance of Terenia had been a spur of the moment decision, brought on by a combination of threats and high emotions. Now, however, she is openly admitting to a partnership with the human-Yeerk. <I think it is time that Terenia and I rejoin forces.> She looks a little green at the thought, but, regardless, approaches the temporary Yeerk Pool reluctantly.

Trey's look of unease deepens, he is clearly unhappy with what The Director is saying. He swivels his chair away from the bar, looking out at its occupants - a hodgepodge of Yeerk, human, and other alien beings. How many of them would be affected if Trey went and convinced Elayne to return? Perhaps none, perhaps all. It was impossible to tell.

"I....want to exist," he says finally, in a quiet voice. He knows how selfish it sounds, and feels ashamed.

She nodded and watched him go sit with the others. She wasn't sure if she was relieved that he took up the offer or not. She was used to being alone. All that time in the cell had made her used to her own company.

The Director nodded his head in submission while putting up his hands, "Alright, alright, don't get yer panties in a twist. I'm just givin' you the other side is all. Telling you your options, informing you of your choices. No need to crawl into a shell." He patted Trey on his back again, trying to comfort him.


Parker caught Silver gesturing to him. It seemed to be in a pattern, almost like the sign language he used to use in training as a child. Only this was different, it wasn't identifying targets or giving orders. Parker turned off his external speakers and asked Thor, "Thor what is she signing?"

<<It appears to be an old style of sign language. Let me review her motions to identify.>> Thor isolated Silver's hand gestures in a PiP on Parker HUD. He replayed it a few times and translated, <<She wants to know->>

"Just put a direct translation on my visor from now on."

<<Yes sir.>> Thor displayed the translation on the bottom edge of his HUD. "Who is your friend?"

"Display library of her dialect of sign language."

<<Yes sir.>> Moments later, Thor flashed the entire American Sign Language.

From the time Parker requested the info, to the time he was able to reply, only about a minute had passed. Parker signed back, "He's the one the troops were after."

Thordon saw past Salem and saw the armored being signing. His eyes lit up. He couldn't sense what was being said, but he could read it. He... he was tarsing! The armored being was tarsing! It wasn't "tarsing" per se, since he couldn't sense what was being said, but it was definitely communication through hand signals. Thordon didn't want to be rude, but he was extrememly interested in finding out more about the armored one's gesture language.

Salem laughed in response to Thordon's accusation. "Yeah, I guess I am. It was totally inadvertent, but yeah. Sorry about that. I take it this little rock's pretty quiet usually, then?"

Her eyes lit up as she smiled when she seen him signing back to her. So he was the one causing all this trouble. "What is his name?" she signed back to him.

Thordon returned his attention to Salem, regaining his distrustful expression, "No, not entirely, but very few bring an army with them." He relaxes his face, realizing there's no cause to dismiss this person. He forms a saddened humble expression as he says, "I apologize. Of course you couldn't control those chasing you. I abhor violence. The few scuffles that have broken here have always been either smaller or isolated at a distance. Those chasing you showed no reservation with destroying every being here, save one, the human that spoke with you. Being near such hate tainted me some, and I displaced my feelings upon you." Thordon dropped his lower arms by his side and placed his upper arms on Salem's shoulders, "How may I help you?"


Parker half read Thor's translation. As he now could speak with sign language, reading it still proved a challenge. He replied, "He insists his name is S-A-L-E-M. That may not be true."

Keshin wanders into the Bar with Parker and the others, noting that at least the chaos has died down. He can't help but notice however that there is almost double the number of people in the place. <And it's probably only going to get worse when Myitt gets back.>

<No kiddin'. She brought a small army to take care of that chick's problem.>

<Yeah, Terenia. But Elayne too.>

<Oh, right. Tough stuff. Can' believe I'm sayin' this, but I hope Myitt's okay.>

<Because you want to kill her first?>

<Somethin' like that. But I miss 'er too.>

Keshin then sits down nearby Salem and Thordon, but not close enough to seem odd. He's curious to find out more about Salem, and more about the advanced technology he was carrying on him. Though Salem seems quite terse in regards to that particular subject.

Mar puts his hand on his forehead, groaning. "Ach. Ever since one of the ships returned, this place has gotten louder. You're right, Elayne. It will be difficult for us to get privacy, if we so choose to have it."

Mar then notes Keshin and Joanne's return, along with Parker and a strange cloaked man. Parker begins to engage in a series of sign language gestures with another patron. Mar's not really sure what to make of this scene at all, but deems it unimportant.

In response to Elayne's comment, he eventually frowns and says, "....yes. They may have gotten caught up in some sort of trouble. Precious is still alive; this much is clear. But I cannot gather much information from here, as I said before. I do not think they got involved with the Imperial guards, however. Myitt is not close enough yet."

[Darth Revan]

((Shen, Paker and John are at a table near the door. Thordon is standing at the bar next to Gaz, Morgan, Andromeda, and Silver on his left and The Director and Trey on his right. Salem left the table and is now standing next to Thordon. Parker is signing across the room to Silver.))

Salem nodded as Thordon spoke. "A pacifist. I respect that. Don't really agree, but it's an admirable decision. I'll try to avoid dragging large numbers of violent troops with me in the future."

He smiled as Thordon placed his arms on his shoulders. "I managed to park my ship in a lake nearby. I was told that you might have some way of helping me get it out."

He glanced around at the other customers of the bar. He stared for a second at Morgan, and flashed a quick smile whenever he caught someone's eye.

Thordon nodded "Yes, I can remove your ship. Please, lead the way." He released Salem and awaited his direction.

Salem nodded and headed first to the table where Keshin, Parker and John were sitting to pick up his cloak. "I'll catch you in a bit," he muttered to the table in general. As he walked out the door, he turned to Thordon. "Is there anything in particular you'll want for payment? I don't think I can access any currency that's good in this universe from here."

Thordon responded as he continued following Salem, "I don't help others for payment. I'm happy just being of help."
