Trey flushes, a distinctly uncomfortable look in his eyes. He glances behind him and notices that Elayne and Mar have returned, and look more coupley than ever. Elayne looks more relaxed than he has seen her.
"It's...selfish," Trey admits with a sigh, "but...what happened happened. It's in the past. I can't help but think that it happened that way for a reason. Yeah, I mean, it sucks. Life is crap for the grubs, and even worse for the nothlits. But just because something is bad doesn't mean you should go messing with time to try and make it better, you know? Maybe I did agree to Elayne going back and maybe it did change things. Who might get hurt in the process though? It's not just my own existence at stake..."
