((Can a Yeerk leave its host if its host is morphed, even into another big form like a human?  I thought all of that stuff (brain and Yeerk) got sent into z-space, or was that just us geeking out and not really being sure?  Anyway, that's sorta how I thought of it.))

(sounds right to me. The first two craters were modified Bug Fighters, the third was a craft about the same size, but made mostly of an extremely durable wood (!) I guess there would have been enough electronic bits to show up on Terenia's scan, but unless she considered the wood remnants to be spacecraft material, there wouldn't appear to be much left. Hunter, if Paul looks in the crater, he'll probably see chunks of the wood along with bits of what look like spacecraft electronics, though I can't imagine there'd be much left to look at. And, yeah, I'm bringing in more ships. I'll get rid of most of them shortly one way or the other, promise ;D)

From the clouds, a spacecraft begins to descend. It's colored tan and is fairly large- maybe seventy five feet long- and is shaped like an elongated rectangle, though two engine pods run the length of the craft on the sides, glowing white at the ends. Its construction is pretty clearly Yeerk, as is the writing on its side, but it is not a model commonly found in the empire. It is escorted by two Bug Fighters, though unlike standard Bugs, these are painted jet black and trimmed in crimson, and their engines also glow white, instead of the normal Yeerk red. Flying a wide pattern, but being sure to keep the large boxy ship in view, screams a tiny craft, perhaps half the length of the Bugs. It is an elongated oval with two triangular wings, each with an engine pod glowing blue underneath, and is colored in the same black-and-crimson scheme as the Bugs. There are no visible weapons, and it would look almost like a toy, but for the speed at which it circles the area.

***

Thienal spots what might be a human making its way through the trees between the lake and the run-down building.

Is that you, human?

He happens to look up as the large craft drops below cloud level, and grins. He speaks quietly, into a communicator that must be hidden on his clothing somewhere

"I have him. The building."

The large craft begins to descend towards the open field in front of the bar, aiming for an open area between parked ships...

Temrash had decided to go outside Morgan's ship to check on the event from before, and noticed Yeerk ships coming in. "Looks like we have Yeerks. This may or may not be bad."

(Sorry, all. My sister was using my computer to do homework all evening.)

As Morgan ran out he yelled at Gaz, "Warn Asda that we're coming!"

Gaz was already running towards the Pride. On her communicator, she was yelling at Asda that they were coming with Morgan's wife and that Cutter was injured.

Inside, Asda was running around getting things ready. Once the group came in, she was at the entrance.

"How is she?" Asda asked Morgan.

"Just unconscious," Morgan replied, "she doesn't appear injured. Cutter's a different story."

"I'll treat him first," Asda said, "over here, Cutter. What exactly is wrong?"

Gaz had a couple of minor scrapes from what had happened, but something else was bothering her.

"Where's Fletcher?" she asked as she looked around. In the confusion she hadn't noticed him. "I have to go find him."

With that she ran out of the Pride back to the other ship.

Keshin blinks, not really sure how to respond to what Thordon had said. It wasn't their problem."Well...I suppose I'm sorry for you then. Since you're nowhere near where you should be, probably not even in the right universe...it might be tricky to get back----"

Keshin's train of thought is rudely interrupted by a sudden shaking and crashing sound occurring outside the Bar. "Oh****," states Joanne, who immediately takes control and ducks behind the table. Better safe than sorry. Not that this will exactly help their odds, but ducking under tables seems to be an ancient human instinct in this kind of situation.

<Shouldn't we...I don't know...get out of the building?!>

<Nah. Sounds like it's comin' from outside. Rumble goin' down, maybe. Best place is here.>

<You'd better be right. You think the four-armed guy can take care of himself?>

<He lit up like a freakin' Christmas tree once. He's fine.>

Mar nods rapidly to Elayne's question, running towards her and wrapping his arms around her. "Yes, yes. Though we cannot go out into the fight. We could take this bathroom we went to earlier. It seems like the area that's least likely to get hit by whatever is fighting out there."

Mar steps away from Elayne and looks at her quite seriously. "If the building collapses any further...I will protect you, Elayne."

The Director chuckles to himself a bit at Mar's actions, "Oh don't get your underpants in a bunch, the worst is ovah." He takes another sip of his lager and says, "Like ah said, we're fine here. Besides, those were impact tremors, not ballistic explosions." he adds comically, "Though you two seems to be a ballistic explosion, heh-heh."

Parker sets Cutter on the examination table Asda prepared and ran back outside, following Gaz, "I'm right behind you Gaz!"

Thordon looks over at Keshin, who was cowering under a table after the tremors shook the bar. Thordon hadn't moved, he knew he wouldn't be harmed, "It is safe to come out now. I believe the tremors have passed. No, I am not in the correct universe. I thank you for your sympathies, however misplaced they are. I fear the ones to be sorry for are the ones I was unable to help."

(John)

As Parker placed him down on the table, he says to Asda "One of the CG arseholes got me in the ankle. Is it bad, doc?"

(Paul)

Walking up to the hull of the crashed ship, he examines the hull. Scorch marks show all around the outside, and there is fair amount of damage to the majority of the hull.

Unable to find some sort of entry hatch, he kicks the hull, hoping that whoever inside survived the crash and can communicate.

"Dapsen." Temrash said as Gaz and Parker ran out to see where Fletcher was. He wasn't sure if he should follow, or stay behind to watch over the injured and vulnerable. Of course he'd like to examine the crash site to check for hostiles as well. He settled on standing just outside the ships hatch.

Despite the miniature earthquake and nervous clamoring of many of the Bar's patrons, Elayne still blushed when Mar put his arms protectively around her. The pink color of her cheeks deepened to a bright red at the Director's last comment. "Will you shut up?" she demanded of the Time Lord.

Then she gave a sharp sigh, as if trying to expel her irritation, and looked back at Mar. Her tone was softer when directed at him, although the adrenaline suddenly fueling her body caused it to maintain some of its edge. "Let's go, then. What about...?" she trailed off, her eyes darting briefly towards Trey, and then back to Mar.

Asda examined Cutter's ankle.

"Not serious," Asda said after a moment. "however, the bullet is still in there. I'll need give you some local anesthetic. There's no need to knock you out completely."

Asda injected something into Cutter's lower leg.

"This will take a moment," Asda said, "let me know when it feels numb."

Outside, Gaz was running back to the ship. In her head she was angry with herself for letting Fletcher go inside, but inside should have been the easier part. It seemed a majority of the CG men were outside.

Gaz looked around outside the ship and didn't see anything.

"He must still be inside," Gaz said. "He must be hurt or he would have come out by now."

The Director smiled and drank his lager. He enjoyed getting rises out of people, and Elayne was the perfect target with all those flashy buttons just begging to be pushed. Of course too much too soon is bad, so he doesn't aggrivate her further, especially since she's needlessly wooried about her life. When she glanced at Trey, The Director spoke up, "Oh the boy'll be alright. You two go have your private time." The jovial tone in his voice was intended to keep the conversation light. He changed his tone to a bit more serious, but still light-hearted, "Besides, what better way to prove you're not a mouse than to staand your ground?" He looks to Trey and winks at him.

Parker nodded to Gaz and said, "Lead the way. I'll just be back up and shoot down anyone that pops up infront of us." He takes out his Battle Rifle and holds it at thhe ready.

((Gaz, feel free to have Parker take any bad guys out in your post. Just remember that if anyone does show up, their third eye will be opened. :) ))

"Yeerk craft?" Corliss repeats, feeling the sudden stab of anxiety.  "You don't reckon it's anyone come looking for you?  I'd cloak this ship as best as you can, I don't want...I don't reckon you should take any chances."  He pauses, rubbing the back of his neck.  "As for you, Efaen, I know you can hear me.  I believe that we can be civil if you're running round on your own, yeah?  Terenia, my Dracon is still low on power from whatever that Director bloke did to it.  Do you have any extra weapons, or spare cells I could use before you feed?"

Joanne nods quietly and steps out from under the table, blushing a bit at what she just did. "Sorry 'bout that, mister," she states, staring at Thordon. "Just...didn' know how bad it was gonna be. You're sayin' it's okay out there? Sounded like the whole bar was gonna fall on us."

She then slowly attempts to recall what Keshin was talking about. Something about why Thordon was here. Not really important to her. "And...yeah. Hope those guys are alright. So you go around the galaxies helpin' folks?"
*******************************************************************************************
Mar then snarls irritably at the Director, stepping away from the direction of the bathroom and towards the Director. "I do not appreciate your attempts to make light of my friendship with Elayne. But if you are telling the truth than we have nothing to worry about. I am in no position currently to gauge the situation, but I suppose you are."

Mar slowly relaxes his posture and turns toward Elayne, saying quietly, "If the Director is right and the explosions are of an impact kind...perhaps we should sit down again?"
