Once he had made sure that the little Zerglings were dead, he lowered his reflective visor; mainly because he wasn't sure what the atsmophere on this planet is like.

Hearing a voice coming from the back of the ship, he called out "Who's there? I'm armed and these U-238 spikes'll go right through ya!

"I am Belzar! The ship is sinking! Are you able to get out? I am non hostile!" He said. Apparently the lifeform inside was untrusting, but that might be what past lifeforms called a fear mechanism.

The Director looked to the woman addressing him and back to the ship, "Well, there's nothing we can do. Unless you want to get wet of course. The water only seems to be 4 feet deep, it's just the sediment of the lake's floor that seems to be swallowing the ship. Luckily the flames will be extinguished soon." He smiles at the joke and looks to her to see if she got the jest.

Thordon was returning to the bar in his vision, he had travelled around this strange asteroid but this was the only establishment that had any routes. On his return, he saw the sinking ship, and could sense the energies of the lives aboard. One had extinguished, leaving two left, though one felt more mechanical than organic energy. He quickly drew himself back into his body, and broke the trance.

Thordon's head snapped up and back saying, "They're sinking!" He spun in his chair, jumped off and started off to find the sinking wreckage.

Trey blinks, driven as though from a trance at Elayne's call. He looks around a bit sheepishly before stuffing his hands deep into the pockets of his khaki jumpsuit and trudging back towards the bar.

"Whatever that was, it's sure letting off a whole buncha smoke," Trey comments as he gets within range to be heard, "looked like a ship of some sorts...it may have fared even worse than mine. Glad I wasn't aboard."

Trey hesitates, flushes and pulls his hands out of his pockets, wringing them nervously, "so, uh, back inside then?"

Corliss ducks and hangs on to the bar when the ship rockets past overhead, shaking the floorboards and rattling the bottles with an earsplitting roar.

He watches a few of the bar-goers dash outside to investigate, and even he barely notices that Terenia is clinging to the shirtsleeve of his uniform.

She hastily lets go and he looks at her, bewildered.  "Dunno, sounded like a ship crash, or a bloody meteorite," he says a bit loudly, palming the side of his head.  "Feels like a freight train's going through me 'ead.  At least it didn't hit the building."  He shrugs half-heartedly.

Elayne nodded in agreement. "I'm glad you weren't on it too. Not sure they're going to find any survivors on that one." She watched his hands then gave a small smile. "Yeah, it's a bit calmer in there, I hope. How you feeling? A lot of pain?" she asked as she turned to walk back towards the Bar, but not getting too far from Mar. He looked far cleaner than before--unlike herself, covered in dirt and oil grease and still some blood--but still rattled.

Trey shrugs and then winces, as though Elayne's statement reminds him of his head wound.  He reaches one hand up to touch the gash gingerly.The bandage seems to be holding, though, and does not need replacing yet. He shrugs again, looking a bit embarrassed.

"I'll be okay," he says, "I just...think I need to sit down for awhile."

(He has a round head with no mouth and a visor for eyes. His torso is Humanoid, with two arms and a chest. His four legs are actually insect like, and spread out like one. He's about as large as a Human, though he could stretch his legs and be taller than one.)

Keshin smirks at the strange man, putting his hands on his hips. "Yeah, freaking lousy situation here. There's really no approaching it."

He then raises an eyebrow and looks the man up and down. "We must've still been out when you arrived. Who exactly are you, anyway? Don't tell me you're another creature of higher origin that wants to mess with us, like Q or Nagilla or something. We seem to get a lot of those in the Bar. Or you could be from some scary alternate future, or just from the same place we are. Either way they wear trenchcoats where you're from."

Keshin shrugs. "Or at least you've seen one and like the look of it." He smacks his forehead. "You just never know with this place. Just don't cause too much trouble."

<We caused some of that ourselves.>

<Oh shut it, Joanne.>

<Just sayin', Kess.>

Mar nods at Trey and Elayne. "We should be getting back inside. You too, orphan boy. You may yet find a home to go to if you stay in this place long enough."

Mar then begins to wander back into the Bar nervously, hoping that Elayne is following his lead. Anything could happen next, and he wants to be ready for it. Not that he's exactly prepared...

Elayne followed Mar back into the building; some bottles and glasses lay broken on the floor from the rumbling of the wrecked ship that had recently shot overhead, but the place seemed in relatively good shape, all things considered. She spotted Terenia and Corliss looking nervous but unharmed, and then then she looked back to Trey. "Want a drink, kid?" she asked, leaning against the back of a chair as she watched him.

As Mar and Elayne walk in the bar, Thordon dashes past exiting the bar, heading in the direction of the crash. He gestures with his hands and points his palms at the ground, instantly, he begins to hover off of the ground. The next moment, Thordon speeds off in a flash.

The Director looks at the blabbering woman with a lost look of confusion. Unable to get a word in, he lets her finish before speaking, "Higher life form, you could say. Though I don't often get involved. I'm an observer, not supposed to interfere with events. Although there are exceptions every now and again. I've no idea what species you're talking about, but if they all dress like this, then they can't be all bad, can they?" He looks at the ship which seems to have calmed down a bit, even though it was still loosing ground. He stood in silence a bit longer before speaking up again, "Sorry, did you say not to start any trouble? Are you the local law here? I hope you're not the official welcoming commitee, with an intro like that. Otherwise some people might take offense and run off."

Lucan laughed a bit harder and said. "I am sure there were a few times I never considered the consequences, especially since my job was to break every known galactic law to make profit." His mind automatically wandered to those memories of the smuggling life.

Lucan took another bite of his meat and drank some more of his brandy. "Is your planet Earth hostile?" He asked Genie after he finished. "How will humans react to my appearance?"

Genie grimaced. "Well... the current situation aside, we haven't really any contact with aliens." She looked embarrassed. "Humans don't have the best track record when it comes to dealing with differences, even amongst our own people."

((Just Keshin's post here. Yay blathering! :D ))

Keshin realizes with a slight shock that he's been rambling on non-sensically to a guy who probably has no idea what he's talking about. This Bar really is starting to mess with his head. That and the meteor-like crashing ship probably shook him up.

<Mine too, Kess. I'm tryin' to help people all over the place, and all I do most've the time is shoot.>

<Great, altruism. Neither of us are perfectly on top of things.>

Keshin then blushes slightly and rubs his head, stating, "S...Sorry. Got carried away. It's just that new people always seem to bring some kind of trouble with them. I'm not the local law enforcement." Keshin laughs. "From what I can tell, there is no law in this madhouse."
