Joanne waits for some time as Keshin swims about in the pool. She isn't fond of waiting, but she's gone through this procedure every three days since they began cooperating. Leaving Keshin alone on the ship would be a dumb move in her opinion. Once Keshin starts to get a bit antsy-looking in the pool, Joanne figures that he is done. It's about time anyway. Joanne therefore bends her head over the pool and dips her ear into it. Joanne winces. She's always hated this part of the sequence.
Keshin re-taps into Joanne's body and gains control in short order. <...hmm. Looks like you got the other Dracon. ...very well. That's all we'll need. Let's see what has happened since we left.>
<Yeah, come on. We're stayin' too long in here. We might be a lil' weak, Kess. Did I get everythin?'>
<It isn't a problem. Let's go.>
Keshin then presses a button to lower the ramp, walking down it and onto the path near the ships. He's surprised that Myitt didn't steal his ship controls to begin with, but he suspects she simply didn't find them. As Keshin wanders forward, he notices that there's some sort of digging going on farther away from him. Keshin frowns. <What the hell? What do you think is going on over there?>
<I dunno. We better take a look.>
Keshin then moves towards the general direction of the dig site...

Mar grins a bit. The Yeerk obviously has a very limited grasp on such matters. Perhaps it is time for Mar to enlighten him. "Oh I am not saying that any of Myitt's personality will survive for more than a few hours after death. The soul cannot hold memories or experiences, after all. But whatever made Myitt react to those experiences and change her personality to fit them in a unique way...that transfers from body to body fairly well. Especially when you consider that among your race, early experiences are ever so similar. I don't give a damn about the Yeerk called Myitt. I care about what made that Yeerk what she is."
Mar clenches his fist with his gauntlet. "And that I will be able to warp and change after the brain is long gone...because it will be absorbed into me. The pretense of separate identity will be maintained for my pleasure. Now..." Mar pauses, seeming to think very hard. "...in this place, in this body...I cannot understand some of it. It's too vast for my currently mortal mind. But I know the end result. And I am looking forward to it."
