"Erase herself?" Terenia laughs, Mar's unhappiness immediately making her feel better, "well, I guess you win, then. My pity party just comes from a bunch of Andalite know-it-all's trying to shove me around their little chess board. Not a nice feeling, but I'll take it over being erased any day."

She eyes Mar curiously, "your friend? You mean Ossanlin, right? I don't know why so many people like that guy so much. I find him self-righteous and, well, annoying."

Ossanlin nods at Myitt and chuckles at her joke.  <I suppose Hawaii is some place temperate and desirable.>  Ossanlin looks around the displays.  <Oh I think I can manage.  I'd want to put the mechanism ins...>

Ossanlin falls silent as he hears a somewhat urgent message from Mar.  <Myitt...you know that whole space-time continuum collapse thing?  I believe we may not be far from that happening....>  Ossanlins eyes dart around the Skimmer.  <Apparently this Elayne girl has supplied the names of the resistance fighters on Earth...perhaps their locations or base of operations as well...to that Imperial...>

Ossanlin sets the cube down on the floor and trots down the ramp, his fur flashing from blue to silver in an instant.  He fingers the hilt of one of his katana-like swords, casting his senses out for energy signals.  He sends a brief message back to Mar... <That is troubling...I don't know if a warped or destroyed space-time continuum would be bad for you, but it would certainly ruin my day...>  Ossanlin's thought is a bit urgent as is he himself.  Casting about for energy signals was like searching for needles in a haystack.  He shakes his head and searches for energy signals matching the template of a space-fighter...yes...one powering up engines already.  He looks back at Myitt, sending her another thought.  <Whether this ruins space-time or not, it could ruin things for you and I, especially if Elayne just so happens to be from the same Universe as ourselves.  I have a strange feeling that she is....and this Imperial too.>

("Not the other one"? Who, Claxter? Aww. BTW, I think it would be an interestin arc if Sukohn makes it to Earth. It would seem kind of anticlimactic if he didn't.)

((You're just trying to give us all a heart attack, aren't you, Chad? ;) ))

Just then, an Andalite stepped out of the very ship she had been lurking behind--which, she realized, was the same ship she had boarded with Myitt and Mar to shoot down the Imperial fighter. A run-in with an Andalite is the last thing I need, she thought, doubting any Andalite would sympathize with a selfish traitor like herself. She crept around the opposite side of the Skimmer, and continued winding her way towards what she hoped was Sukhon's ship. Her grip was now so tight on her Dracon that she barely felt it in her hand anymore.

(I want to have fun being a villainous character. I ma have him attempt a heel face turn, though.)

Sukohn's Z-space drive was powering up as he slowly lifted up towards the top of the treeline.

As Sukhon's ship lifted off the ground, Elyane's eyes widened, and she cursed--rather loudly. She raised her handheld Dracon and fired several shots, more out of irritation than anything. "How the hell am I supposed to follow him if I'm from another damn time?" she raged to no one. Wait, she thought. Myitt's Skimmer. If she'll just let me take over the weapon's station again, maybe I can shoot him out of the Bar's sky. She hurried back towards the ship, and then skidded to a stop in the gravel, having already forgotten the Andalite. She stared at him, her breath coming in quick gasps, eyes wide, waiting for him to make a move first.

Sukohn noticed someone was firing at him. The shields were registering minimal contact. Looking at the computer screen, he noticed another ship nearby with the Andalite Prince and Elayne near it. Was she trying to stop him? It wouldn't be too hard to turn around and blast the ship, but the Z-space thrusters were still charging. He didn't want to interrupt it.

"I thought I asked Keshin to cover my rear. I guess he just decided otherwise. What a bother. I'd better speed things up." He said, and began pressing buttons on the console. He just needed to get to Z-Space, and make it to Earth. he'd be safer in a yeerk controlled area.

((Ahahaha, Keshin's probably long forgotten. Dork that he can be sometimes. XD Though he may randomly decide he has to cover Sukohn's ass anyway. Common sense.))

Keshin notes the rumbling coming from outside the Bar, which strongly suggested that a ship was taking off. Keshin smirks. <Ah, that's  Sukohn with the names right now. ......oh, wait. What if...> Keshin then hurriedly gets up out of his seat and adjusts his jacket, running out the door towards his own ship, though not at top speed.

<Awww Kess, he can take care of 'imself. We've already got a couple better ways of gettin' killed.>

<If that idiot doesn't deliver the message, one of our payments is dead in the water. We have to see whether he makes it out or not.>

Keshin then glances at Elayne attempting to shoot down the ship and blinks in confusion. He then throws up his arms in the air, walking closer to her without getting within firing range. "What the hell, Elayne? That's probably my client. I thought we already had a deal."

Mar, inside the Bar, can't help but notice that something is going on outside. Mar frowns, scratching his head. "What on earth is that terrible din outside? That noise cannot be good for anyone." Mar turns towards Terenia, throwing his hands up in the air. "What with the kind of trouble you tend to get into, maybe you know what it is. And I am friends with Ossanlin mainly because he is decent and clever. And because I have been inside his head."

Mar frowns a bit at Ossanlin's sudden response and sends a message back, although carrying on the two different types of conversation at once hurts his head. <....that's odd. You sound more concerned than I expected. ...do you think that they may be from the same place as yourself? Although I don't see how destroying a few fighters on Earth could harm your world.>

Still frozen like a deer, Elayne's eyes darted to Keshin. She growled, her frustration and fear mounting as Sukhon's ship continued preparations for entering Z-space. "I upheld my end of the bargain, Keshin!" she snapped at him, loudly enough he--and probably half the Bar--could hear her from that distance. "I provided you with the names--that's all you asked of me. I don't owe you a damned thing!"

Elayne looked back to Ossanlin and then, hoping Myitt was inside the Skimmer, called towards its entrance with desperation, "Myitt, please, I need weapons control of your ship again. That Imperial is getting away!"

((Ok, I'm gonna stop now to give Oss, Tara, and anyone else a chance to respond. It's just so fun -- must resist!))

Myitt's smile fades into a look of scrutinizing concern.  "Resistance fighters on Earth?" she asks, but Ossanlin is already trotting through the cabin and down the Skimmer's ramp.  "Hey, wait a minute!" She follows him, standing in the hatchway.

The reality of the situation starts to sink in, sending Tara's heart into her throat.  "You mean...the Andalite resistance on Earth?  Or...or human, or whatever the Peace Movement says they are?  Why would Elayne do this?"

She starts at the sound of Dracon fire, not far off, and Myitt draws her own Dracon.  As if in reply, Elayne's voice echoes through the wooded clearing, raging about following someone.  The familiar rumble of a ship taking off almost, but not quite, drowns out her words.

Almost immediately afterward, Myitt recognizes Keshin's voice.  That dapsen always shows up at the drop of a ****ing hat, she marvels to herself.

Of course, Static Shock was involved in all of this.  Oh, if she could only get a good line of fire...

When Elayne runs up to the Skimmer's ramp, Myitt looks down at her, eyes narrowed.  She lowers her Dracon, just slightly.

"And if I let you control the weapons system of this ship, you're really going to go after the creature you just signed all of our death warrants with?" she asks scathingly.  "Destroying those resistance fighters...who knows what implications that could have on our timeline?  Who knows if they are the ones who finally help us stop this war?  You didn't seem to care, when you asked that Imperial filth to meddle with your own future."

Terenia, also noticing the sudden din outside, frowns in the direction of the door. She notes Keshin leaving and suddenly the bar seems rather empty. Mar is there, and Claxter, along with a few other patrons who she never learned the names of, but for the most part it seems as though the excitement has moved outside.

"For once," Terenia says, giving Mar a twisted grin, "I have absolutely no idea what is going on. And I rather like it that way. Bartender, I think I'd like to switch to wine. White."

She turns back to Mar casually, apparently unruffled by the urgency of the situation outside, "would you like some? On me. It looks as though you could use a little something to calm yourself down."

Keshin rolls his eyes, throwing his arms up in the air. "The least you could do would be to let me follow through with it, but..." Keshin thinks on this statement, and then just sort of shrugs and smirks. "...you know what, you're right. You don't owe me anything. I've been known for doing the exact same thing sometimes. Although we're usually slightly more honorable than that."

Upon realizing that Myitt has entered the picture, Keshin groans. "Oh, great. Just great. You really have this glorious habit of turning up exactly when I don't need you.I think we must be the same way to you. I guess it doesn't really matter anyway. My part of the job is done, so I'm no threat to you."
*******************************************************************************************************************
Mar groans and shrugs a bit, watching Myitt run out the door with a Dracon in some confusion. "You know what? ...Precious seems to be able to handle it herself. Even if she dies, she'll still belong to me. I'll take you up on the offer of wine."

Mar sits up on a stool closer to Terenia, rifling through his hair with his hands. "And you know what? Thank god you aren't part of it. If you were, we would all be six times worse off and would be having some ridiculous moral debate to boot."

((o.O Mar was on the Skimmer, not in the bar))

Terenia grins, "you're probably right there. I have a tendency of bringing trouble right along with me, no matter where I go. It isn't my fault, I swear. Drama follows me."

The bartender hands her a glass of white wine and takes it, "Thanks, dude. Can I get another?" she glances at Mar, "Red, please. You seem like a red wine kind of guy."

((Actually, he wasn't. He's in the Bar. I think you just got confused because Mar can speak telepathically to Ossanlin, who is in the Skimmer. It's one of the few things he can still do for the sake of plot convenience. XD And the fact that Ossanlin's native "language" allows him to translate it somewhat easier. ))

Mar nods with a slight smirk, taking the deep red liquid that the bartender effortlessly hefts his way. Mar holds the glass and drinks slightly from it, looking quite pleased with himself. "I suppose you could say this state of affairs is not your fault, although frankly I find you reprehensible as a person. Ossanlin himself had..." Mar turns off, not wanting to divulge the secrets of his friends. "an incident that would make him sensitive to a predicament like yours. And I cannot help but support him. Other than Elayne, who's about to get herself wiped from the world due to an incident I can no longer prevent, he is all that I have."

"Too bad I can't say the feeling's mutual," Myitt growls, bringing her Dracon up to aim at Keshin.  "Do you have any idea what you've been a party to?  Can you imagine?  If Elayne's from our universe, and we lose a major ally, and that ally can supply the names of those in the Peace Movement, and they can supply the names of those in the rebel militia...then we're ****ed!  Give me one good reason why I shouldn't destroy you, while I still can."

((Mar has been in the bar since the Skimmer landed, but I don't think he'd be able to see the Skimmer from his vantage point, it's off in the woods next to the bar.))
