As the bomb explodes, Keshin bashes hard against his corner of the ship, slumping down somewhat. Keshin groans and rubs his head, glancing around him to see if any of the others have noticed that he is on the ship. Conveniently enough, they all seem too distracted to realized that the bounty hunter that caused the entire mess is sitting onboard trying not to cause a scene.
Keshin smacks his forehead. <What the hell were we thinking, coming on here just because Myitt "asked?" Normally you're the one who decides to screw over self-preservation out of sheer curiousity.>
<Kess, let's face it: if we didn't up in stuff like this, life wouldn' be any fun.>
<Yes, and we'd live a nice boring longer life. Remind me never to do this again.>
<I won't, Kess.>

Mar sighs with a somewhat arrogant air to his voice, clenching and unclenching his fingers from his palm. "I didn't make this out to be an issue of human willpower, my dear. I'm just saying that it is insane for you to be caring about a heartless woman that has sold you out. Myitt may loathe me, but I have a guarantee that after she dies she will spend forever with me. Myitt is also a far stronger and far more decent individual than the person you described. The person that would give up their freedom and ignore their blood. And for what? I never did find out why.”
As soon as Mar finishes these words, a chill shoots down his spine. A spike of energy has just gone up that causes him to nearly stumble flat on his face, although he eventually recovers his balance. Mar winces and slams his fist on the table. Damn, it’s already happened. They couldn’t stop it. Elayne may be forever changed…or not. ….I cannot worry about it now. They will return, and then I shall see about bringing the timeline and her back if necessary. Mar then clears his throat and begins to speak once more.
"As for human beings...I can personally attest to what you say about them. Their tenacity is so strong that they can break free of their own limits far faster than other mortals, for the sake of mere emotion. But you strike me as a rather desperate, lonely person grasping futilely for the only thing she has left.” Mar laughs. “You’re not all similar to the heroes I have known, though you carry the same spark. Distorted and twisted.”
