Efaen stands stock still, a look of shocked bewilderment on her face as the events unfold in front of her. Within moments she goes from facing two Imperial Yeerks to zero. For a moment she feels a strong urge to run away again, but the Hork-Bajir is still out there somewhere. One glance down at the decapitated human-Controller was more than enough. She turns on her heels and gallops into the crowded Skimmer, practically barreling into Alic on the way.

The Hork-Bajir leaps from tree to tree, finding his way back to the still-cloaked fighter. He opens the hatch, hops in, and closes it tight behind him. Near-sighted eyes squinting feverishly he begins keying in commands on the computer.

"Claxter, you left her out there!?" Terenia cries, sounding aghast, "What kind of a warrior are you supposed to be?"
