(It went by much differently from how I thought it would go too. I'm not sure why Alic was even rushing that way, and ddn't think Corliss would use his ship. I figured efaen would be grabbed, and Zoshonel wouldfind Claxter either unconscious or visibly afraid and ashamed.)

Zoshonel finds the group and smells Andalite and Human blood. The others seem to be handling things, so he merely looks on in silence.

Claxter reassumes his normal form and lays in the corner trembling. Muttering the wors useless over and over.

(His legs are curled under his body like when a horse or something settles down. His upper half is leaned against the wall.)

((*shrug* That's the fun of writing with other people; you never know what's going to happen.))

Corliss tries to take aim at the remaining Hork-Bajir-Controller, but in the darkness he's not sure if Temrash has followed them as well.  He curses, leaning back in to the cabin.

((Thordon wasn't meant to get into any fights in the first place. That's why I brought him on, so I could have a character talk to those not fighting, while Parker fought. But the story played out that Parker couldn't have known that a fight was happening, so I brought Thordon over. It didn't work, so I put him back.))

Corliss glances back at Claxter.  "What's that?  Don't beat yourself up, mate, you're a soldier.  Battle isn't easy.  Cheer up, yeah?"

"Hey, don't beat yourself up," says Corliss gently, still keeping an eye on the hatchway.  "Honestly, I think I pissed meself first time I was in a real fight, with real blood and real people trying to kill you."

<You know...I actually did well in the simulations. If those were simulations, I would have done them both in. Next war, I vote we all play simulation games. Whoever gets the highest score wins the prize.>

"What is it going to be Hork-Bajir controller? Hacked up by my Andalite Friend, burned to a crisp by me, or run back to your ship and live a day longer?" Zoshonel said.

At Keshin's tone, Elayne took the hint and kept her mouth shut, turning instead to watch the Andalite who had just approached them bound away. As Myitt turned to leave, Elayne frowned and called after her, "Hey, do you have any idea what the **** is going on?" She took off after her, hand firmly placed on her Dracon still resting in its holster.

((Well, this has all gone pretty well considering. The Space Bar's a complicated place. : )  ))

Keshin frowns, noticing that some of their group have left with surprising urgency and others in the Bar are not present. The entire affair seems rotten to Keshin and so he immediately draws his Dracon. He turns to Elayne and nods. "Best not to get involved, but if it comes over on our end you might want to be ready. Myitt running off like that anywhere generally means bad news for me."

Keshin then moves slightly further into the trees around the lake, just in case he needs to quickly locate cover.

Mar turns toward Myitt and blinks in confusion. She must have heard something, but it isn't entirely clear what. "Wait, Myitt!" Mar then darts off in the general direction Myitt was heading off to. His mortal body isn't very physically fit, but it isn't broken either. Mar imagines he'll be able to work out what direction he needs to go in from the sound of whatever drew her away.

((Alic went that way to defend her people. And she hates the yeerks. And likes a little action!))

Alic ignored the request for her to board. No way could she back out now. Her adrenaline was rushing and she wanted to release it.
The blood of the human-controller was still dripping from Alic's tail blade, as well as her own blood from a large gash on her shoulder that the hork bajir managed to inflict. She didn't even notice it.
Get rid of the slug, or see if he wants to run? Either way Visser 3 was bound to send reinforcements. Alic glared at the hork in front of her. <Well? You do have a choice. We can have a litte round, where, you WILL lose. Or you can go.>

((KK, somewhat time-type post...sry, it's the only way I can properly address people.))

Ossanlin nods to Mar as he asks his question.  <Well...yes I did honestly.  I once played host to a rather nasty Yeerk named Seran...Seran 021 of the Sereck-nai pool.  Better known now as Visser 8.  Part of his promotion no doubt came from the intel he pilfered from my head.  Luckily he was stupid.  He brought me back to the GESB to try and gather intel from Myitt on the resistance.  Myitt figured it out, and she and several others restrained my body and more or less starved Seran out.  He was a coward too...he disengaged before the three days were up.  How he managed to find his way back into the Empire I have no idea...things are a bit foggy for me around that time.>  Ossanlin blinks a few times.  <It was not pleasant.>

Ossanlin looks up suddenly as 'visitors' are mentioned and curses to himself.  Those two were out there alone, the Yeerks would NOT have two more andalite hosts.  Aliciania ran off and the others followed.  Make that three more Andalite hosts.  If he knew Alic she would charge in without assessing the situation.

<Iksrat!>  The curse is foreign in Ossanlin's thought, but appropriate.  He closes his eyes and concentrates, his fur rippling silver, his eyes glowing cyan once again.  He turns after Alic and the others and bolts.  He uses the same technique as he had earlier fighting the demon, warping time around himself to give him unnatural speed.  He feels out with his senses, able to pick up on Alic's energy immediately.  It was surging...she was already fighting!!  He redoubles his effort...leaves, grass, and trees twist and warp out of his way, staying that way as he passes leaving a strange sort of tunnel of tree-trunks behind him.

Finally he approaches the clearing and sees Alic immediately with his enhanced eyes...bleeding!  And a hork-bajir after her!  Ossanlin roars in thought-speak, drawing both katana in one fluid motion and jumps out of the trees.  He bursts into the clearing and skids to a halt between the hork and Alic, his hooves kicking up huge clouds of dust and clods of dirt, his tail poised over his head, his eyes burning brightly almost as if lit by blue flame.  He points his right-hand katana at the hork's chest to keep him from charging straight in, and aims a stalk eye at Alic.  He holds his left-hand katana and tail in battle-ready position, moonlight glinting off of fur, tail, and bared metal alike.  The other stalk eye takes in the decapitated human.  <You're injured Aliciania...you got rid of the human...good, but you're not in proper fighting condition anymore.  Go!>

Ossanlin knew Alic wouldn't want to leave.  He also knew she would fight fifty hork-bajir by herself blindfolded.  He didn't want to hurt her feelings, but he wouldn't let her be hurt any further physically.  He would protect her.  <There may be more, make sure the rest of our friends are safe and if you find any more Imperials, take their heads off for me love.>

Ossanlin continues to square with the controller.  One hork shouldn't be too bad, after all Ossanlin had almost as many blades as the lizard, but a being who underestimated his foe was a fool and dead for it besides.  <You can't win here Imperial...you'd best give up or you'll end up like your little friend over there.>  Sometimes threats could work too...but judging from his prior reaction to Alic, he didn't think they would here.

((Hope you guys don't mind that I jumped in here.))

The Hork-Bajir grunted in surprise as another Andalite jumped into the fray. His cold eyes flashed towards Efaen and then back to Ossanlin and Alic. Suddenly he was severely outnumbered by Andalites. He snarls in protest and fixes his eyes on Efaen, pointing to her with one outstretched talon.

"You," he grumbled in sloppy Galard, "Return to Visser. Or die."

His gaze lands on his fallen comrade, and the Hork-Bajir looks as though he is about to make a move for him, but thinks better of that. Yelling several curses in Yeerkish he leaps straight up into the air and back to the safety of the trees, where he begins to make his way back towards the ship.

----

Terenia, who had been listening to all of the audio in horror, hears Corliss mention the Andalite warrior.

"Is that Claxter?" she demands, "What's going on! They didn't kill her, did they? What did you do to my host!?"

<Efaen is fine. One of the two enemies was killed by Alinciana. she is a better Warrior than I am, and she isn't even a Warrior. I hear Prince Ossanlin out there as well. I...I can't let him see me. How can I face anyone as I am now? Am I still shaking?> He gets up from his spot, and darts around wildy for some other place to hide.

Corliss watches the Hork-Bajir Controller dart up into a tree and disappear.

"I'm getting us back to the bar," he calls out to Alic, Ossanlin and Efaen.  "It'll be a big cramped in here, but if any of you are hurt, it might be better than hoofing it.  Come 'ead, if you want."

---

Myitt storms across the gravel shipyard, hurrying toward her ship, weaving between the various other parked vehicles.

She turns, hearing Elayne address her as Elayne runs up behind her.  "All I know is my friends are in danger, way behind the bar.  The fighter's the quickest way to get there, and the most firepower.  Besides, I'm not leaving it here for someone to place another tracer on it.  You can join me if you like."  Then she groans, noticing Mar staggering through the forest, following them.  "Oh, who invited him?  No matter, come on, jackass!" she yells at Mar.  "We don't have all night."

Myitt starts walking toward her fighter, standing cloaked not too far away.  The only evidence of its presence are a few dimly flashing red lights, a few feet above the ground, triggered by the Yeerkish equivalent of keyless entry--only more genetic.

She opens the exterior hatch, a round window of light hovering seemingly in thin air, and climbs aboard, offering a hand to help the other two up.  "A little adventure never hurt anyone.  Except when it did.  Not quite what you expected when you crashed your ship here, huh, Elayne?" she asks with a wry smile.

"I'm coming," Elayne nodded as she moved to walk beside her, dropping back when there was not enough space between all of the transports to walk two abreast. Her eyes fixed on some dim red lights ahead, placed too low to the gravel and in too open an area to be anything but a cloaked ship. When Myitt opened the door, Elayne took her hand. "Thanks," she grunted as she stepped up, looking around the interior curiously despite the urgent situation. "Yeah, you're right, this isn't exactly what I was expecting to happen," she smirked as she moved to inspect the engine, "but that's alright. Can't say it's not been interesting." She straightened, still standing by the engine, turning to look at Mar. "So who're you again?" she frowned, head tilting to the side.
