((Sounds good. :) ENTAH THE BADDIES! ))

"Well, isn't this cute," a sneering voice says from the brush. A human with scraggly, greasy brown hair and skin that looks constantly sunburned steps out from behind a tree, "Our favorite liability found a friend." The human points his Dracon Beam at Efaen, keeping well away from her and Claxter's tail.

Efaen stiffens, her sense of calm shattered by the sudden appearance of the human. She backs up, her tail raising into a battle stance immediately.
<<Get back, Claxter,>> she warns privately. Openly she addresses the human, <Lessat. How did you find me?>

Suddenly the moment was gone. claxter regarded the Human with his main eyes and scanned the area for anyone else. <<Time to go back to the Bar, I think.>> He said. He said nothing to the controller. This was obviously a loyalist was was here for Efaen. Surely he did not come alone. Judging from his clash with Corliss, he knew that Humans had low reflexes and tolerance to pain. He placed his hand on his shredder, but didn't draw it. <<Everyone else is out of thought speech range I'm afraid. Depending on how long he's been watching us, it may be obvious Terenia is not with you.>>

Alic heard Efaen's thought speech as she rushed into the forest. She was thankful her quickness and her hooves barely made a sound as they hit ground. <<Efaen! Claxter!  I'm coming to help you.>>
She slowed as she felt she was nearing where Efaen and Claxter were, stalk eyes alert at her surroundings, hoping she wasn't missing anything. <<How many are there? And what are we up against?>>

The human-controller known as Lessat laughs softly, "What, you think Visser Three would let his pet go amiss? He will be quite curious to hear your story. Why you stranded yourself here and are associating with such -," he pauses to look Claxter up and down, "filth. Come along Terenia, it is time to go home."

<What about my ship?> Efaen asks, not bothering to correct them. At the moment it is to her advantage that they think she is still infested. She hears Alic's cry and responds privately, <<There is only one human within sight, although there may be more hidden.>>

"Don't worry about that hunk of space junk," Lessat scoffs, "Come along. Time to go see your master. Leave the Andalite to count his blessings that we are in a hurry today and he gets to live."

Thordon saw the familiar Andalite turn around and run away behind the Bar. He tilts his head puzzled. "That was odd." He looks to Ossanlin and asks, "Wasn't that your friend?"

<<So he did bring more with him. He said "we". Alinciana! We need to get Efaen back to the bar and Prince Ossanlin! So how should I play this, Efaen? Pretend I still think you're an Andalite nothlit? What's the plan?>>

<<I...I don't...>> Efaen hesitates for a moment, <<Go back to the bar. Get Ossanlin. In the meantime, I'll hold them off. He can't have more than one or two comrades.>>

To the Controller, Efaen says, <I would like to at the very least gather some of my effects from my ship, if that is acceptable?>

The human ****s his head to the side, eyes narrowing. He has spent time with Terenia in the past, and something about her speech seems....off. He casually reaches over to his wrist and adjusts the setting on his life-form detector. It takes a minute, but eventually the colored dots blink out, save two. He glances down at it before switching back to the previous setting.

"Very well," the human-controller says carefully, "first you will come to our ship and give us a full report. Then we will fetch your belongings."

(I hate the lifeform detector. I assume you mean like the one in 53? Never mentioned anything before in the series, and serves no real purpose than padding.)

<<I can't let you enter that ship. They may reinfest you with some other Yeerk. Alinciana! You need to get to prince Ossanlin! Efaen, run to the bar! Please!>> After saying that, he rushed forward against the Human. All eyes on his enemy, he should be able to make it without getting injured. It was just one for now. Nothing to fear.

"Wait, Alic!" Myitt calls, as her Andalite friend gallops off through the thick woods, hoping to find Efaen and Claxter.

"I'm going to the Skimmer," Corliss says grimly, walking off through the woods towards his ship.

"****, ****, ****...I can't leave my ship vulnerable...be careful, Corliss." Myitt stalks off in the other direction, heading toward her fighter.

In a few moments Corliss reaches the Skimmer, jumping up through the hatch and sealing the hull behind him.

"Terenia?" he calls, walking into the pool area.  "I'm going to seal the top of the pool.  I'm going to take off, and see if we can track these Imperials from the air.  If they've captured Efaen, we stand a better chance of helping her.  Hold on in there!"  He brings a breathable plastic cover down over the metal pool, locking it onto the lip of the tub, then goes back out into the cabin, powering up the cloaked ship.

"You okay back there?"  The engines set the floor and the pool water humming, and the Skimmer lifts off the ground.

((Well...the lifeform detector is just as convenient as a state-of-the-art ship detector that can find cloaked and masked ships...x3))

((It's only mentioned in 53, really? Huh, I thought it was more canon than that. I mean, I figure its kind of like a Gleet Biofilter without the whole flashy light part. It senses lifeforms it is programmed to sense. You know?))

<<Don't you know to not sneak up on people? You startled me!>> Alic said privately to Thordon. <<It seems we're in a bit of a mess here. Visser 3 has sent  to fetch Efaen and Terenia.>>
Alic crept closer, following the human voices. <<Please, go get Ossanlin. We may need his assistance. I don't have any weapons....>> As she was saying this to Thordon she caught sight of the yeerk through the trees, and her plans of stealth were ruined.
<<Claxter! Damnit!>> Alic became more careless as she now ran to get closer, but still did her best to keep silent. They still didn't know there were more andalites on this planet.

<Claxter, NO!> Efaen shouts openly. Lessat's eyes open in surprise as the Andalite charges him. He raises his Dracon Beam on instinct and pulls the trigger, a wild shot. At the same moment the Hork-Bajir drops from the trees, right next to Claxter, slashing at the base of his tail with his wrist blade.

Claxter dodged nimbly as Lessat fired his shot, and drew his own weapon. This would be over in seconds. Suddenly a hork-Bajir practically came from nowhere! Even before he got over that surprise, the Hork's blde made contact with his tail, and practically cut it clean off. His head turned in shock to the Hork-Bajir, but his body was still moving forward. His shredder was still aimed forward. He fired a shot, which was still on the stun setting from when he last shot Efaen. He was still in a state of shock, though, with his tail dragging limply on the ground.

<Oh, ****.> Alic said to herself. She knew she could fight and was good at it. But that was one Hork.. If there were more it may not turn out so well. Never seemed like a great time to step in, but she knew she must. Claxter was young and being a fool, now none of them may make it out if there were more of the enemy near. Alic raised her tail and made sure she scanned the trees for remaining threats. She didn't see any, which she knew that didn't mean there weren't.
Now only a few yards away she was ready to take the human down first.  Then the hork bajir. If there were more she could only hope help was on its way.

Alic's eyes opened wide at the sight of Claxter's tail. No time for sneaking now, she had to take action. Alic leaped at the human almost directly from behind and whipped her tail in front hoping to take off a limb.. or a head.. or at least knock him unconscious.

(Whoops, sorry, must have missed that one.)

Fletcher scratched his head. "I guess Morgan and Gaz'll want to bury him later. If Cortex is the one who sent him our way, then that's what he had in mind."
