(Oopsie. Well at least the description was nice, right?)

<I can understand the feeling. I want to remain close to you, but eventually we will have to part. I can't stay with you if you return to being a controller, and I'm afraid what Terenia says is true. It saddens me deeply. I hope she doesn't embarrass you with the memory of these moments. If I had the power I would have you at my side, and any Yeerk who comes near you would fall at my hooves for merely looking at you wrong. Unfortunately I am but a Warrior. Not even a brave one either.>

((It was a great description, Chad :) ))

Efaen smiles shyly, <I think that you are very brave,> she says coyly. She uses her tail to nimbly cut through some brambles, clearing the path for them.

<I cannot imagine willingly returning to a life of slavery,> she admits, <Terenia is confused, psychotic even. She is certainly no friend, and I have no pity for her as she is a victim of her own creation. I believe that my freedom is worth the risk of eventual death. After all, I am forced to face that possibility every day on Visser Three's Blade Ship. At least if I am free, I will have some say in how it occurs...>

"I'm here," Corliss replies, after fishing out the link and juggling with the flashlight, "Efaen's off in the woods nearby, we're going to try and find her.  Don't panic, but Temrash seems to think an Imperial Yeerk craft has landed nearby.  Can you check the scanner, make sure there isn't anything unusual?  In the meantime I'm going to get us to a safer altitude.  Hold on."

At the thought that she was going to say no, Claxter felt mixed emotions. He wanted to jump for joy, but was also worried. <Whatever makes you happy. I will gladly sponsor you for military promotion, as well as help you train and study. It could be great fun. we could take walks around the Dome of the Tyrennian, and talk about all kinds of things.> He said as he helped clear a path.

((Uh, "nearby"? That's a bit of a reach isn't it? I thought the lake was in front of the Bar, where as Efaen ran into the wood behind the Bar. I'm confused, where are we in relation to the Bar?))

(It gets confusing sometimes. Let's see. Temrash, Gelia, Gaz, Morgan, and Artemis are inside the bar. Fletcher is taking the corpse to Gaz's ship I think, and zoshonel is with him. He asked what Fletcher is doing with the body, by the way. Efaen and Claxter are in the woods, and everyone else is by the water. Not sure where Parker is now.)

((Yeah, you guys are at the lake in front of the bar, we're in the woods behind the bar, which is on the opposite side of the bar of the Skimmer. No one should be near us))

<That sounds...lovely,> Efaens says, <my last Dome Ship experience was less than desirable. Although, from the bits I've gathered I don't suppose yours was beneficial either. I suppose that is why you chose to go to Ossanlin's ship.>

--

"A what?" despite Corliss' warning not to panic, Terenia's voice is laced with fear. She pulls up the schematics and searches it furiously, "I don't see anything! Where is Efaen? Go get her!"

--

The hatch of the Imperial fighter opens and both the human and Hork-Bajir hop out. The human squints through the dim forest, having sprayed his eyes with a UV filter. He searches for heat signatures.

"The signal was coming from this way," he says, pulling his Dracon and setting it to 'stun'. He leads the way, moving with practiced stealth. The Hork-Bajir leaps into the trees as soon as they reach the perimeter of the meadow.

((No, I mean Thordon, Ossy, Mar, Myitt, Kesh, Cor, and Elayne. I know where everyone else is. Where is the lake located? I thought it was infront of the Bar past the "Parking lot".

Okay, thanks Teach.))

<It wasn't too bad. Just wake up, go through a torturous training regimine, collapse from exaustion in my room, and do it all over the next day. sometimes I'd try to hide, but then I'd really get it when he found me. I guess my sills have improved faster than someone who was under another Prince, but it was mentally taxxing. The battle I was in was just the breaking point. I was so afraid of doing something wrong that I couldn't focus, and there were bodies everywhere. I would have died if I hadn't made it into my fighter and lifted off.>

Alic decided to keep a little distance from the ghost-like creature who seemed to know her. He for some reason made her uncomfortable, but Thordon a small wave back. Her main eyes found Ossanlin and the familar warm feeling bubbled through her body making her smile.
<Myitt!> Alic turned a stalk eye in response. <I just took a little nap, I guess.> She had just been standing there for a moment to hear that there may be trouble with Efaen and possibly some "visitors" which couldn't be good.
Alic put her attention on the woods where Corliss shined the light. <They are in there? I'm going to find her.> Alic started to run towards the woods, there was no way some yeerks were going to be successful in getting another andalite host. She just wouldn't allow it.

<I'm sorry,> Efaen says, looking down, <it is not always easy to forget what one sees in battle. But it is for a good cause. Freedom is always worth fighting for.>

--

The human and Hork-Bajir advance forward, going for stealth rather than speed. The human stops frequently and checks a small read-out on his wrist that is set to detect life forms.

(Yay Alic!)

claxter's stalk eyes always scan the area, but his main eyes have been mostly on Efaen and he isn't on guard. <What sort of wild creatures do you suppose are on this planet? Since we're having our little nature walk and all.>

Elsewhere Temrash calls Zoshonel. "Hey. I need you to go look for Claxter and Efaen. We need to tell them to get their little tails back over here"

"Sure. Sure. You know I'll find them." Zoshonel replied and said goodbye to Fletcher. He went back to the lake where they were last and began sniffing.

(He'll get there, but he's still a good distance away and not booking it.)

(I don't think there's much they can add. They don't know where Efaen is. I'm trying to decide if Claxter should show a moment of fear when they come, or not be afraid of just two guys. Maybe if they start a fire and trap him, he'll become really afraid.)

((Well, it would be rather out of character for them to just hang out, wouldn't it? Or would they be too afraid to take on two lone Andalites? You could have them reveal themselves, then wait for Myitt's response.))
