[Gaz]

"Someone we knew," Morgan said, "killed by a bounty hunter. Someone who was getting information for someone the Central Government would love to find. Obviously he wouldn't give up the information or the bounty hunter wouldn't have shot him."

"Cortex, the guy the CG would like to get their hands on," Gaz said, "probably found him and sent him to us, since he knows where we are, so we could...bury him, I guess."

[Chad32]

"You might know how much I value good connections, Gaz. Maybe you could hook me up with this Cortex guy. Actually is he from the same deminsion as I am? I'm unfamiliar with the Central Government past what I've heard you mention. I don't suppose the Yeerk Empire is in his neck of the woods?" Temrash said.

"My connections and resources are the main thing that keeps me from the Empire, so I try to get as many as possible."

[Gaz]

"I've never heard of the Yeerks," Gaz admitted. "Either they haven't gotten to us in our 'verse or they don't exist where I am. Sure, I could set up a meet with Cortex. He's got the ability to travel around multiple 'verses. That's why the CG wants to get a hold of him so bad."

[Terenia]

Efaen's main eyes widen slightly when the man who shot her steps into the fray. She watches him closely, nostrils flaring with suspicion. The entire bar seems to have migrated to this outdoor location, and Efaen does not like that. She notices a few new faces, but they are overshadowed by the presence of Thordon and the strange events that have been happening. And Corliss, of course.

<Terenia can wait,> Efaen says, trying to remain impartial sounding, despite the fact that she is speaking with a Yeerk, <obviously there are more pressing matters at the moment.>

[Myitt]

"Yeah, look um, Efaen, sorry 'bout earlier," Corliss says.  "Really, I am.  I just wanted you two to talk, and instead I went and shot you.  No excuse.  Bugger of me not to just bring the girl out to my ship, in the first place.  But she's waiting, you know.  Reckon she's sick of Pong." 

Without explaining, he turns back to Myitt.  "What's he, then?"

"Do you remember Thordon?" Myitt replies.

"Oh, yeah.  Forgot he was a weird one.  Hiya, Thordon.  Um.  Why are all you lot in the woods like this?"  He glances at Keshin's huffing form, suspicion and then recognition in his expression. 

"I told you, we were having a party," says Myitt, deadpan.

"Oh come off it."

[Chad32]

<I believe that perhaps we should move along, Efaen.> Claxter said, a bit put off by Corliss' appearance, though the Hork-Bajir controller leaving was a good sign. <This is not nearly as quiet a place as I had originally thought.>

[Midnight_Huntress]

Silver mulled this through her mind while she chewed her bottom lip like she always did when she was deep in thought. Finally she spoke up. "I don't know how I know, but the story checks out fine, Cortex could have sent the body.....but I have a wierd feeling that something isn't right." she said as she watched Flethcer remove the box.

[Terenia]

Efaen nods, not taking her main eyes off of Corliss, <Yes, I think we would be best served by feeding elsewhere. Yeerk, you can tell Terenia that I will make a decision regarding her situation in time. Until then, she will have to content herself with learning the meaning of patience.>

She turns and trots away from the strange scene in the woods, heading back in the general direction of the bar, stalk eyes watching Claxter to see if he follows.

((Yay, work day's done.))

In response to Myitt's first comment Thordon says, "I am a wraith. An ascended being of pure energy. Consisting completely of my element, Energy. Though I have been a wraith for quite some time, even I am unaware of my true potential. As my planet is a peacefaring planet, I have not had need to fully utilize my abilities."

Thordon then answered Claxter's request for an explanation, "Though I can not explain Ossanlin's abilities, I can explain why we seemingly 'appeared' here: When we left to go to Earth, Mar shed his mortal avatar in order to accompany us. Ossanlin, apparently reserved that avatar within the Timestream to keep it from degradation. Once we returned, Ossanlin decided to return Mar's avatar to him. As I was exiting Gaz's ship, I saw them, and decided to join them in their trip to the fourth dimension. Once Mar's avatar was restored, Ossanlin returned us to this spot in Space and Time."

After Claxter denied knowing of Thordon, Thordon backed up his story, "Indeed, We had already taken off for Earth before the Andalite joined the Bar." He faced both the young Andalites and gave a curt bow, "Greetings, my name is Thordon. I would be happy to make your acquaintances."

After Temrash left, Myitt made mention of a Doctor, and Corliss arrived. "Greetings again Corliss. It has been some time, yet not so much. You appear wounded, in several places. Are you not well?"

[Midnight_Huntress]

The sense of magick, or energy in the room made Silver shiver once more at the notice. She frowned and looked around for what could be aggitating her senses. Then she Noticed Thordon and everything clicked into place. She could tell by the looks of him, that he was the prickling feeling on her senses. And he looked very powerful which was probably why she couldn't stop the tremble when it came.

[Chad32]

<I am pleased to make your aquaintance too, Thordon. Please excuse me.> He said, and began following Efaen.

After catching up with her he began thinking. <I am afraid the longer you stay here, the more dangerous things may become. Visser Three will want his "pets" to report to him soon. It may be wise to consider the possibility of being attacked here. However, with Prince Ossanlin's Domeship in far orbit I doubt the Yeerks will be able to send a large force. I don't think we'll be bombarded by a Blade or Pool ship.>

<There is also something Zoshonel brought up. Would you consider becoming a male nothlit? It would allow you to hie from Visser Three, unless he found out your true identity, and allow you to climb the ranks faster. Though becoming a male nothlit wouldn't do as much towards the female movement, as it were. That is, if you are trying to make a statement on behalf of females by trying to gian a respected military status.>

[Terenia]

Efaen stops in her tracks, mid-trot, throwing up a splash of dirt and small pebbles. She gives Claxter an incredulous look, <I just regained my own body, and you want me to give it up permanently? Just to satisfy a pre-existing status quo and remove a target from my back? When I already shared with you that my particular expertise is in morphing? You cannot be serious.>

[Darth Revan]

((Thordon and the others aren't in the bar, Myth. They're outside beside a lake. Not far from where you were sketching.))

Thordon gives a bow as Efaen and Claxter depart. He then notices the two new humans behind Myitt. "Greetings. As you have heard, my name is Thordon. May I ask your names?"

[Gaz]

"I sure hope nothing's wrong," Gaz commented.  "To be honest, part of the reason Cortex is gathering information is we're pretty sure someone is gearin up to start a fight against the CG. More and more people are starting to see how they operate."

Elayne watched the self-proclaimed wraith with a level of curiosity she hoped her closed-off body language hid. "I'm Elayne," she told him, studying him with a little frown. "You're awfully..." she couldn't quite find the word to describe this strange being, so she muttered, "...formal." She shifted her weight to her other leg, trying to not look as weirded out as she was.
