"Yeah, Ossanlin I'd expect to do the weird blue glowy thing," Myitt snaps loudly at Mar, "but I ain't ever seen Thordon do his crazy Doctor Manhattan impression." She staggers out of the way, still disoriented, as Keshin seems to appear next to them all.
She finds the strength to grin, knifelike, at Joanne. "What's the matter? Been running too hard?"

Corliss sighs, staring at the computer readouts. "Still nothing. Yeah, I reckon I could go and knock on the hull of the Apex Mirage. That is, of course, if they're still in there. Can you hang on a minute? I'll have my comm link on, it's labeled in the shipboard system. You can use that to contact me at any time, all right? I'll be back."
He walks back out of the pool room and into the small cabin, exiting the ship into the darkening forest. He begins to head in the direction of the parked Apex Mirage, somewhere in front of the bar, but he hears clear voices from somewhere not too far to his right, through the trees.
"Either that's Myitt, or your ears have gone daft," Corliss murmurs aloud to Mike, walking through the brush and heading in the direction of the noise. It turns out that the Skimmer had half-crashed not too far from the little cluster of grass and trees around which several bar patrons were now standing...or floating.
Corliss pulls back a couple of branches. "Is this an invite-only party?" he inquires. Then he notices Efaen. "Oh, bloody good then, Terenia's wondering what's on your mind. You know, not literally. About what she'd been on about earlier. Um." He looks at the others. "Really, am I interrupting something?"
"Just having a happening party out here in the woods, Cor," says Myitt with a little gloved wave.
