Ossanlin watches as the young human-andalite boards her ship again, and notices Parker run off across the field and then back with some sort of fox-type alien.  He raises an eyebrow, and then focuses on Claxter again, sending another private thought-speech to him.

<<Well, it does take hard work and dedication.  One of the first things you would have to do is begin a strength regimen designed to enhance your arm strength.  I do have training swords on the Tyrennian...made of a high-strength polyplast...they have a similar weight but they're blunt of course.  If you're truly interested I would be happy to help you train.  I would recommend starting with one, it's much easier to hold and control a single blade especially before you have the chance to strength-train.  Then you can learn to add your tail.  The combination is quite effective, not to mention you manage to catch most of your opponents off-guard.>>

Ossanlin glances again at the newcomer and continues his private thought-speech to Claxter.  <<Indeed, he does seem the curious sort...you'll quickly learn that we get all sorts of beings here, aside from my old friends.  It always keeps things interesting...>>

After Parker leads Fox to his friends, he leaves and goes up to those nearest Terenia, "So are we scavenging fuel cells, or 'syphoning' from these guys?" Parker nods his head toward Keshin and Corliss indicating them.

I believe that the more things I can train in, the better chance I have to surviving the war. And maybe if the Yeerk rebel alliance works out, we won't have to eleminate their species. XD  They're...very very advanced computer batteries, okay?? x3  And welcome to the bar, Myth!  Reread the first post and feel free to join.  Right now we're trying to get some fuel for Terenia's ship, but the plot is nonlinear and can branch in different directions--much like any sort of conversation in a bar in space   Most characters are outside of the bar in the parking lot/ship graveyard right now, so your character would probably see them upon landing or walking towards the bar entrance.  Please try to create an original character, even if it's within a fandom universe.  Let us know if you have any questions! ))

"Jeez, it's one helluva job, whoever did it," Corliss says appreciatively, walking back around to the front of the ship.  He notes that Terenia has entered the ship, and starts to follow her--but he stops short, looking Fox McCloud up and down.  He caught the last bit of Fox's request, missing Fox's name.  "'ey, Parker, who's your new friend, then?  He looks familiar somehow.  Bit like that Hunter bloke...but...there's something else.  Huh.  Oh well, reckon it's not often one meets a humanoid fox creature."  He extends a hand to Fox, grinning.  "Name's Corliss Three-Eight-Two, my human host's name is Mike.  I myself am a particularly dashing and extremely interesting cranial parasite."

<Modest, too,> Mike murmurs flatly.

"My people are called Yeerks, and my host and I interact quite nicely together.  But you can ask 'im, if you like.  What does your mum call you, then, and what sort of creature might you be?"

Parker looks behind his back to answer Corliss, "Yeah, he does look a bit like Hunter. Hunter seemed a bit more 'human' though."

[Terenia]

Terenia glanced at Keshin, <I have done various repair jobs on the ship, but I am not the most schooled in engineering. Most of what I know I learned from watching those who do build Bug Fighters. My commander gave me this ship because it has full Z-space thrusters, which would expedite the speed of my missions. However, the ship itself is pretty substandard,> she shrugs, <my commander also does not want me running off around the galaxy in a shiny new ship, blowing things up. Or running off, period...>

Fox looks at Mike and wonders, why dos almost everybody have a number for a name?

Fox extends his hand and gives a firm handshake then smiles. "Names Fox McCloud. You said your hosts name is Mike? Ok, Mike nice meeting you and Corliss 3-8-2. You say you need a mechanic? I know a person that can help."

He then looks at the bug fighter. "Yeah. He should be able to help."

Fox then walks over to Claxter and offers hs hand. "Nice meeting you Claxter. You don't need to be so uptight. All I'm asking is your name and what you are. Ok? Any other information is nice but unneeded."

With that Fox walks into the forest and brings his Arwing out for everyone to see.

"Please to meetcher Fox McCloud," says Corliss brightly.  <Fox McCloud,> he wonders idly.  <Oh well, can't reckon why he's so bloody familiar.>

He watches him bring out his ship.  "Pretty nice," he says, crossing his arms.  "I wonder what that thing's supposed to be called?"  He shrugs and looks over at Parker.  "Are we sure this little bastard isn't going to blow us all to kingdom come, then?"

Claxter shook hand with Fox. Hearing Terenia, he wondered who she worked for. Or what she worked for. It could be a Yeerk, and he still felt strange thinking of Yeerks as possible allies. Terenia was surely a unique individual if she was born Human, became an Andalite nothlit, and worked for a Yeerk.

Almost as if she can tell what Claxter is thinking, Terenia edges out of the ship, sending an order to the computer to encrypt all data. She hardly wanted to risk anyone discovering who her master was. That was a story that did not need telling.

<I think taking fuel cells would be the easiest, to be honest,> Terenia says, eager to get everyone back on task and then away from her ship, <Whatever ate up my liquid fuel killed the entire cell.> Now back outside of her ship, she peers at the section of the ship that housed the fuel cells, <Jesus, what the hell happened?> the original cells are burnt and twisted bits of plastic. From the looks of it, it was a miracle the ship could fly at all after they fried.>

Parker asks Terenia, "So would you like to start scavenging, or do you want to see if these guys have extra?"

Fox walks back to his Arwing and enter the ****pit. He then calls R.O.B* on the Great Fox: "R.O.B. can you hear me?"

"Yes captain. What do you need?" "Relay this message to General Peppy.

"I found life on this planet. So far I count 5(?) aliens and people here.

"Some seem nice while others not and I've been hearing thngs about a war. Details are scarce but I know these people are going to war.

"One of them is having trouble with their ship. I need Slippy* but bring the rest of the team. Fox over and out."

Fox then lands and tells the group that he got someone to come and fix their ship.



*Slippy Toad is the inventor of Team Star Fox. His age is unnown. Hes average sized and male however he is a toad with a huge toad head, webbed style fingers and toes and is green. Hes always wearing a hat and wears a mechanics uniform. brown pants and overcoat also brown and yellow shoes.

Keshin grins. "But here you are honey, running off from your commander. Oh well. I suspect that at least some people have entered the Bar to run away from something."

Keshin peeks his head around inside the ship. "Nice place, actually. Although similar to most ships, spending five days in it in an empty void can't exactly be a barrel of laughs. So how are we doing this fuel transfer business? It seems exceedingly vague."

[Terenia]

<I am not running off from anyone,> Terenia says gruffly, <I was returning from a mission and my ship exited Z-space unexpectedly and that-> she gestures to the warped cells, <-happened. I only am choosing to stay out of interest, but eventually I will return to where I belong.> The word 'belong' is somewhat strained in her thought speak, and she changes the subject abruptly, <Now then. If you don't mind, I think the easiest thing to do would be transfer cells from one of your ships. At least those are guaranteed to work. In a pinch I can take cells from one of these broken down junkers, but I'm not sure how much I can count on them to get me back to the...uh...place that I would need to go.>
