Temrash sat listening to the conversation, but found he had nothing especially interesting to say. So he ordered some food and drink, and fed Jagill while relaxing.

Myitt says nothing for a moment.  "Well, this isn't exactly the best place for therapy, but we'll do our best," she says with a shrug.  "Isn't there a chance you can return to this creature you cared for?"

Thordon snaps out of his trance. "I'm sorry, I lost myself before I finished. I came across a strange rip in reality while I was flying above a forest in sorrow. Much different from a portal. It looked like a void, like complete emptiness. It looked like death. I threw myself inside it in hopes to end my suffering, and instantly changed my mind and attempted to get out. I tarsed with all of my soul, but I came no closer to escaping the void. I fought with all of my being, until I felt nothing, no pull, no terror, nothing. I turned and saw my bodydrift into the darkness. I was confused, but the tear began to close so I flew back into my world. I realized I had ascended and it took a while, but I found a way to take physical form and chose the common form and returned to her."

((You would notice something like that Tara.  >_<  There are consequences when you post at 1:30 in the morning.  Not to mention most of my avatars go by the name Celebrin now, so yeah...it's actually a modification or derivation you could say of Quenya, Tolkien's high elf tongue.  It translates roughly as silver-strong or strong silver, however you want to arrange it.  The 'C' is also pronounced with a hard 'K' sound, most people think of Celebrex and think it's pronounced with an 'S' sound.  *shrug*  I was tired and brain-addled long and short.))

Ossanlin chuckles at Myitt.  <Yes, hermitage.  But really Myitt, do you really think you could handle being a hermit?  I was only speaking part in seriousness.  I don't believe I could deal with being a hermit.  A break would be nice, but it might not even be a year before my tail itched for action.>

Ossanlin listens quietly to the conversation between Thordon and Myitt, finishing his pitcher of water, removing his hoof.  Without thinking he wills the pitcher to move itself onto the counter before remembering he had reverted.  He decides to simply leave it for now, too engrossed in listening to the eccentric being's tale to bother with picking it up.

((You gonna have Shal come back or maybe something else?  We can try to liven things up in here a bit...x3  And yeah Luke, being a Tolkien nerd, I figured it was a K-sound...it almost sounds like some names, like Celeborn, Galadriel's husband, or Celebrimbor, the dude who made the Elvish Rings of Power...okay I did have to look up what he did but super nerd now...XD ))

"And you can return to her if you can simply open a portal back to your world?" asks Myitt.  "What about the world you were trying to get to, are they going to be in danger if you aren't there?  I wonder why you were sent here instead.  Sometimes there's a reason, it isn't always the driftwood of the universe that find their way here."  She looks around.  "But I don't see anyone here that needs saving.  There is a wounded young human man from a long lost era recovering in a spaceship outside, not to mention a few powerfully evil demons behind the building.  But I think we're holding it together pretty well so far."

She grins at Ossanlin.  "I think I could get used to the monotony of a very simple life, I've certainly done it before," she says.  "As long as I could have some company, a nice pool, some Margarita mix and maybe a beach...your planet must have beaches, right?"

"I don't think I could stay on the Andalite world. Though I don't hate most Andalites, I certainly haven't become buddies with any either." Temrash said, and spared a glance to Oss. "Though some exceptions could come up in time. I'd rather find a planet fed by Kandrona sun. Besides, I doubt Jagill would like to live on that world either."

"Maybe I could travel to a different universe, and forget about this war."

"Well, yes, finding a planet fed by Kandrona would alleviate the need to build or barter for generators, but there's only one planet I know of fed by Kandrona," says Myitt.  "And I don't think there are very many real estate opportunities there."

"Kandrona suns are indeed rare. Maybe we could find some technology to change a sun or orbiting moon into a Kandrona sun. But I'm not the scientific type."

(Temrash has stopped trying to hide Christine up in orbit. Parker brought in a new character that came from a differetn dimension through a portal, but is peaceful and friendly. Myitt was talking about being willing to escape the war by living on the Andalite Homeworld, and Temrash mentioned converting a sun or moon into a Kandrona sun like what they tried to do in book 41.)

Mar grins at Myitt. "Ah, yes. Unrequited love is oh so infuriating, is it not? And Myitt...the Andalite home world is hardly a place for a Yeerk. Prejudice is quite strong there, I'm afraid."

Mar then glances toward Thordol and about the room. "No...we have no problems other than the demon. I am normally a problem, but that doesn't seem to be the case in this Bar. You may leave if you wish, but you may also find that this place tends to get up in arms every once in a while. And interesting people frequent it."

"Well, I can't just make a portal. I have to use the energies of others in order to do it. Even then, those energies have to be willingly given, and I don't know if those who can't tarse can do so."
