Ossanlin smiles back at Alic. "Well, I'm glad for that." Ossanlin quirks an eyebrow again. "You're spoiling my fun, you know who I am don't you?"
He looks up as Jagill approaches. "I am who I am and no one else, unless you count a body as itself and then I'm someone else altogether." Ossanlin smiled a bit at the hork-bajir as he walked away. "I suppose it depends on one's view of philosophical matters."
Ardiss standing up gains his attention quite suddenly and he looks up at her, tilting his head a bit, before looking back at Alic. "I'm afraid she's a bit jumpy...perhaps I should go over there and calm her down."
Ossanlin downs his Pepsi and puts on a lopsided grin, pretending at slight inebriation. Ardiss couldn't have seen his drink...he hoped. Otherwise he'd look like a fool. Of course he'd already managed that pretty well. He acts on impulse and kisses Alic on the cheek, whispering in her ear... "I'm sorry, this brain is causing me to act without scruples."
He stands suddenly and catches a hand on the bar feigning light-headedness and walks over in Ardiss' direction. He doesn't act 'smashed' as the humans would call it, one drink would not account for that, he walks steadily, if looking extremely relaxed. "Mind if I sit down?" Ossanlin looks at Jagill and then Ardiss, sitting before waiting for a reply. "I tried talking to that girl over there but she didn't say a lot. Like how so many humans ended up here when humans don't have space-faring capability...she seemed sweet though. Not a controller." He looks at Ardiss significantly and leans back in his chair. He suddenly wishes he'd brought the cup of Jager with him...it would've lent to his diguise, but he didn't trust himself not to do something that would betray him when sipping the stuff.
