"Alright. I'll assign you somewhere else." Temrash said. "For now you may do as you like while I make arrangements."

Claxter nodded. He felt like spending more time with Efaen, but it seemed she wanted to separate for now. He finished his drink, and went outside to check on Silver.

Derrel felt like he was watching a movie. Sitting in the back, watching Illim walk his body back to the bar. He wondered if he had seen Corliss' host before. Myitt said he was a British looking guy.

<<Don't remind me,>> Mike says with a nervous laugh.  <<At this rate we'll be bloody well soaked to the skin.>>

After a moment's hesitation he asks, <<Terenia, what exactly do you intend to do?  If Efaen has destroyed your ship, are you going to tell her she's been very naughty and she should go to her room?  If she hasn't...well, that'd be a relief, I suppose.  But you have to remember that she'll think I'm Corliss, and we might be able to use that to our advantage.>>  He pauses.  <<If you can pull off my accent, of course.>>

Salem shrugged when Blast didn't answer him. Maybe he hadn't heard him over the sound of the engine noise emanating from the bike. It was impressively quick, but Salem would never choose to use it for something stealthy; it made more noise than was probably necessary.

He turned back towards the crashed Andalite ship. There was no readily apparent sign that anything was wrong, but something felt... off. It made the hair on the back of his neck stand on end.

Salem shrugged again and started "skating" towards the ship. He slowed down as he approached it and began circling it at a distance, jumping over the occasional fallen tree that had resulted from the ship's rough descent.

Removing his giant hammer from over his shoulder, his muscles bulged as he held it in one hand and stared at the ship.

Walking slowly he eyed the surroundings for a moment then directed his gaze back at the ship.

Something is going to happen...He thought to himself.

Silver couldn't see. Age jumped a few trees over silently to see what they were looking at. It was then age seen the ship. She narrowed her eyes in a scrutinizing look. Why was it out here?

Trey shrugs, "Honestly, I don't know. I mean...what I want is fairness, you know? I don't want to be treated like trash just because of how I was born."

He sighs and looks off, through the smudged window and at the shipyard beyond. Somewhere out there, just out of his line of sight, is his father's grave. "I just don't want all of this to have been for nothing, you know?"

Terenia laughs in spite of herself. <<Of course I can pull off the accent, you dapsen,>> she says, <<I'm a Yeerk, remember? The ultimate chamelean. But to answer your question, I have no idea what I'm going to do with her. She's impossible. She doesn't deserve...anything, really. Least of all her blasted freedom, but I guess I don't get to ->>

Terenia's internal dialogue cuts off abruptly as she reaches the spot where her ship was. It is clear that this is where the explosion originated from. Twisted, misshapen metal is all that remains of the hulking Bug and a steady plume of smoke is still rising from its ashes. What is left does not even resemble a ship.

"Dapsen," Terenia hisses out loud, the profane word holding none of its earlier affection. She unconsciously clenches Mike's hands into fists as she surveys the wreckage, her earlier friendly banter forgotten.

Efaen's shoulders relax slightly as Claxter moves on. Part of her wonders if she should have relayed her suspicions regarding the Prince, given his past record. It is impossible to change what is done, she reminds herself. Focus on your aim.

She drinks her beverage slowly with one hoof while her right stalk eye watches Ossanlin and Mar's conversation.

"Yeah," Elayne nods in somber agreement. Her thoughts travel back to her own father and her failed rebellion. "It's not a good feeling. Maybe I could make it up to him by helping you. I told Mar I'd stay with him..." she murmurs, looking to him before returning her attention to Trey, "but I wish i could achieve both somehow."

Thick smoke rises ahead, not exactly in Illim's path, but not far out of it either. He veers towards it out of curiosity.

"Use caution," Serid murmurs from behind him as they pick their way through the ships to the place where one used to be.

<Whatever detonated earlier must still be putting off smoke.> Derrel said conversationally.

<Silver! Are you around?> Claxter called as he walked through the woods. He saw nothing of note, aside from some smoke from whatever blew up some time ago. It wasn't where he parked his ship, so he didn't feel the need to look.

Mike surveys the wreckage, Terenia's fury surging through him and his own exhausted amusement turning to slow anger.

<<Surely the Visser must know he could just as easily track her down as well as you?>> Mike asks carefully.  <<How will he know which one of you to follow, if it comes to it?>>

Salem tried to shake off the uneasy feeling he got from this situation. He skated up close to the ship, intent on knocking on the hull. He turned to Blast.

"Any idea how many of them...?" he began, but before he could finish a nearby tree exploded in a shower of splinters and flaming wood. Salem instinctively ducked his head and dove for cover behind a nearby boulder, somewhat less gracefully than he'd intended thanks to the fact that his hover-boots didn't allow for proper traction, and slipped out from underneath him. Nevertheless, he made it behind the rock just in time to see another tree explode near Blast. This time he saw the cause- the crashed ship's main Shredder, which arched up over the ship, reminiscent of an Andalite's tail, had powered up and was firing at them. The ship's targeting computer must have been damaged or disabled, or they'd be dust already.

"Every damn time..." Salem muttered to himself. He jumped up and began "skating" in an effort to get behind the ship, out of reach of the Shredder. At the same time, he drew his bulky gravity-pistol from his holster, and its three stabilizing blades snapped into position around the barrel. It was the most powerful weapon he had on his person, but it was no match for a spacecraft. Still, the weight of it in his hand made him feel more in-control of the situation.

Ossanlin watches as Mar's manipulation of the device greatly outshadows his own minimal efforts.  He attempts to watch and seems to sense an energy from Mar...a part of himself extending closer.  The sensation was partly from the Ellimist's influence, but there was more there, a sort of expanded consciousness.  It's an odd feeling now that Ossanlin is allowing himself to sense it.  It's almost a perception of something greater.

Ossanlin receives Mar's projection with surprising clarity.  Thought-speech was one thing, but transmission of images...this was beyond Andalite capabilities.  <I....see.  I do not know if that is what I am doing or not.>  Ossanlin pauses a moment.  <What do you mean by "larger" and "permanent" changes?>  Ossanlin takes a deep breath.  This whole situation seems somewhat odd to Ossanlin.

Spinning to his side, in a horizontal flip, Bolt landed and swung out the hammer a little, to grip the 5 ft handle a little further out.

Spinning the hammer over his head, Bolt's eyes started shooting with electricity. With a swift powerful slam, he brought the hammer down towards the ship.

When the hammer struck, it seemed like the planet itself would explode, as a huge blast of lightning shot down from the sky and struck the ship, just as a huge blast of the rocks from the hammer rained down on the ship.

He quickly ducked down behind a fallen tree.

Even with Thor's abilities I'm just not able to take down a ship! Not alone or without a plan! He thought to himself.

With a groan he thought to himself, yeah this one is going to hurt. And launched himself into the air then brought his hammer down in a massive slam, which he used the reverbarations to throw him through the air and up over the tail of the ship.

Flying down he let out a devastating roar, and swung his massive hammer against the tail, and(..)

Successfuly slammed the tip of the Shredder, hopefully disabling it. But it quickly responded with a powerful strike that, Bolt could hardly block with his hammer.

Flying and slamming into the trees, and quickly into the ground, his screams could be heard reverbarating through the forest.

Shaking with pain he felt over his body, finding 6 broken ribs, his right calf completely shattered, and his left ankle swollen and hard to walk on.

Staggering to his feet, he leaned on his hammer, and using his power of thunder called out a message that could be heard for miles, ''I am down for the rest, for at least a long while. If you can do any damage please do! With some rest i can use my power successfully!'' And then fell unconscious, completely oblivious to everything, and clinging to life against the empty vast wastland of death.

Silver jumped at the lightning and then realized it wasn't hers. She watched as he attacked the ship with everything he had. When he smacked up against her tree she yelped and fell out of the branch. She hit the ground hard on her side a few feet from the guy. When she looked up he had fallen unconcious. She moved over to him and then looked around for his companion but did not see him. She could tell he was hurt badly. She tried to wake him, careful of his injuries.

Mar frowns. He's surprised that Ossanlin doesn't know what he means. It seemed obvious enough to him. "I mean that you are literally larger, War-Prince. Your aura is bigger than it was before. I am..." Mar rubs the back of his head, looking embarassed. "...admittedly not sure why. It may have to do with either your near-death or your experience in the time-stream, however. I call the time-stream Deos, as it is where we are present in full."

Mar glances off, clutching at his chest with his hand. "Either way, I can only hope that it benefits you. Most beings with that size are...either warlocks or not completely mortal."
