((Yay sort-of Keshin ;D))

Salem made his way to the crashed Skrit Na freighter. If the crew was still alive, he might be able to find something worth bartering for. If they weren't... well, there was nothing like free junk to make his day a little better.

He was a little leery of the arrowhead-shaped ship he'd come to think of as Temrash's parked nearby, but as he didn't see any activity, he slipped into the downed freighter pretty much unnoticed. He quickly determined that there was nobody aboard, and began picking through what was left of the cargo, looking for anything that might be of value.

<If I remember correctly,> Efaen says scathingly to Kevlin, <it was Temrash who attacked me.>

She struggles against her restraints, fruitlessly, while Temrash speaks. When he is done with his rant she shoots him a look of pure disgust. <You are the most hypocritical slug I have ever met. You do not wish to interfere in my life, yet you restrain me. While I would certainly not be distraught by your ellimination I never sought it openly. I have done nothing to you.>

In the pool, Terenia ceases her idle swimming at the sound of Efaen's open thought-speech.

<She's awake,> Terenia informs Corliss, feeling more relieved than she had expected. She switches to thought-speak, addressing Efaen.

<<Nice to see you up and about. Not that I can see much of anything right now.>>

"The timing of your threat towards Corliss was unfortunate. I likely wouldn't have attacked you at all if I hadn't recently lost two people whose lives I had the power to save. I guess I should apologize. I was just trying to scare you a bit. I'm just restraining you because I don't trust you. I suppose I could just send you outside to fend for yourself, but your current condition is questionable." Temrash said as he went to disarm Mike. The guy looked like he'd be too deep in sleep to notice. "I don't care to watch you, and Ossanlin is sleeping. I also don't know where that other Andalite is right now."

<You talk too much, Yeerk,> Efaen growls, ignoring Terenia for the time being. <What if I told you that I did not wish to have Terenia returned to me? Would you leave me shackled here forever?>

<Sleep?> Efaen repeats, looking insulted. <I believe that I have slept more than enough, thank you. Now allow me my freedom.>

<<Who are you talking to?>> Terenia demands, miffed at the fact that Efaen is ignoring her. <<Hey! Efaen, who the hell are you talking to?>>

<<Allow me to handle this on my own, Terenia. I do not require your assistance.>>

Temrash finished locking up all the dracons that he or Kevlin weren't carrying, so he didn't have to worry about Corliss threatening to shoot him. "I'd rather wait until Ossanlin wakes back up before doing anything with you."

"I am glad. I have news for you," I explained to the Minotaur and Silver, "Myself and Frederick are leaving the asteroid. I mean, probably for good. He is leaving with me. I have to return to my own people for a time, and then him and I are heading to a restaurant near the perimeter of the universe."

"Bartender, get me anoo...another...on e."

The barkeep shook his head, but prepared another glass nonetheless. Could Vissi Ya-Wiq help it if liquor helped his depressing life? His Tycoon was oppressive, and his quarters twice as much. If he got a little drunk, it was good for him...wasn't it?

He nearly spilled his glass, but he got it to his lips quicker than most drunk people would think...

<Ossanlin is not my commander,> Efaen says. <What will his consciousness help? At the very least allow me to stand. I will not lie here like some prisoner.>

Efaen shifts uncomfortably on the floor, trying to get her feet under herself and failing.

<What is going on?> Terenia asks Corliss in frustration, switching to the Yeerk language. Now that she is sure Efaen is alright she is quickly shifting towards frustration at her lack of communication.

Temrash got the two other force field generators off a shelf and set them on the floor. Corliss had attached one to her tail, but like he did with Keshin he could also just make a dome or wall around someone. He positioned her at a corner so he could just make one wall, and she could stand in the triangular space. He turned off the third and pulled the machine out before the other two brought the wall up. Now she could stand, and possibly get into a better mood.

"I thought Ossanlin was in charge of you now. At the very least he's been keeping you and Terenia close by. In any case, I'm going to wait for Ossanlin."

(Sorry about that, yeah, I think I missed that one.)

"Think nothin' of it," Morgan replied. "Everything is fine and I can assure you I'm not holding any grudges against you."

As Silver had a dizzy spell, Morgan reached out his hand to help steady her. At the same time, when he had shaken his head lightly he had his own small spell. He placed his other hand against the wall.

"Dizzy spell?" he commented. "You and me both, darlin'. If I know Asda, she'd probably suggest some water or something like that."

<No one is in charge of me,> Efaen spits. <I am in charge of myself. You Yeerks, you cannot comprehend anything unless it is in terms of possession and ownership.>

As soon as she is able, Efaen rises to her feet, keeping her tail tight against her back due to the limited space. She never takes her main eyes off of Temrash, and her expression is far from kind.

"Somehow five years of being infested and being Visser Three's private play toy has done little to your willpower." Temrash said. "I'm surprised you haven't been broken yet."

When the bartender brings her food over--finally--Fiona eyes it dubiously. She makes a great show of peeling back the bun to peek under it, then picks up th pickle and sniffs at it. Apparently satisfied, she sets it down and lifts her glass. "Cheers, Fi," she says. She takes a sip and then digs in.
