A girl's voice calls back that she is okay, and Trey releases a heavy sigh of relief. He is not sure why he cares so much for her well-being, except perhaps for the fact that she arrived in a similar manner as he. Lost, confused and none-too-gracefully.
"Who's on board with you?" He calls up, wishing he knew how to open the hatch. Her earlier scream indicated that she had probably been boarded by some species she did not expect, but that hardly narrowed it down at this place. He sighs and begins to walk the perimeter of the two linked ships, looking for an entrance.
Not sure why you're bothering, Trey thinks to himself. You don't even know if she's human, or friendly or anything. And clearly someone else has it under control. He continues walking, just the same.
For a long time Terenia lies in silence, not bothering to prompt Efaen into waking and not really thinking about what has just transpired. She is merely relieved to be alive and free of the risk of nothlitism. As blank as she tries to make her mind, though, she cannot prevent one small wisp of thought from running around and around. Ossanlin saved us. This thought makes Terenia both furious and, for some strange reason, ashamed.
<<Corliss?>> Terenia calls at last. Now that she is back in her own morphed form she can use open thought speak of her own. She is no longer limited to the morph's capabilities - capabilities that are useless when Efaen is unconscious. Her voice is shaky, but clear. <<Corliss, are you there? I...I think I need to leave Efaen. I do not know how long she is going to be out, but I don't sense her coming to anytime soon. I-> she cuts off, running through a mental list of all the enemies she has created since arriving at the bar. She dwells on Ossanlin's name for a few moments, a big question mark hovering over it.
<<Corliss, I'm coming out.>> she repeats, forcing strength into her voice. <<Please don't...don't let anyone hurt me.>>
