"First of all," Corliss replies, walking over to the med bay's water dispenser and unsealing a sterile cloth, "I'm going to make sure she's not going to accidentally inhale any of the stuff she's been spouting. Besides, if you haven't noticed, she's rather a mess."
He wets and activates the sterile mixture and walks over to Terenia, pausing to shut his eyes tightly. Mike still wasn't in the best condition for all this aggravation and worry.
In a few seconds he opens his eyes, gently moving Terenia's arm aside and clearing off some of the vomit and blood from her face and body.
"Come 'ead," he says quietly, mopping up around her nose. "You can't get yourself and Efaen stuck like this, love. Wake up."
