Once inside the ship, Temrash placed Corliss on the bed and hooked him up to the machine. It gave a readout that said his condition was currently stable.

He knew he didn't want terenia alone in his ship with Corliss, but who should he ask to guard him? One of the repairmen? They could certainly fire a dracon. Kevlin should definitely be able to do it, but would he want to be cooped up in the ship?

Kevlin gestures to Terenia and then to Corliss. Then he looks at Temrash and shrugs. "Do you have anything for me to do?"

"That depends. Do you want to volunteer to watch the ship? That is, assuming we let Terenia stay in here at all. I guess I could stay, though. Either relax in the bar, or relax in here."

Terenia boards the ship, her bare feet echoing slightly off the metal ramp. She pauses at the threshold only a moment, glancing behind her at the outside world warily. She does not like the idea of being shut up on a ship with a potential enemy, but they have Corliss. Taking a deep breath that she immediately regrets due to the sharp stab of pain in her upper abdomen she follows Temrash and  Kevlin inside.

"I'm staying," Terenia says firmly, entering the room just as they place Corliss on the table and begin discussing the plans from there.

"Sure. Dara and I could use some down time." "Don't listen to Kevlin. Downtime is never a good thing." Dara jokes. "But we'll stay here."

"Alright. Just don't leave her alone in the ship." He said. He grabbed a bandage from the shelf and put a patch on his chest. At least it wouldn't be open then. Going into the kockpit, he stopped and sat in the chair. He was hesitant to actually leave the ship, and didn't really have any pressing matters do do outside. In fact he really should deal with the Keshin problem. He booted up the computer, and sent out a communication to all the higher-ups working for him. He told them to keep a lookout for a certain bounty hunter interested in a certain medication. If she showed up anywhere, they were to kill her.

Kevlin leaned against the wall. "I assume you and your host don't have the best relationship." He said to Terenia.

Ossanlin stows the injection-mister back in his utility harness, blood smeared across the handle from his shredded hand.  He follows Temrash and the stranger...and Terenia...he doesn't trust that group alone.  He sends a private thought to Claxter...  <<Keep an eye on things in the bar please Claxter...let me know if there is anything that demands my attention.  I want to make sure everything stays under control out here.  If Efaen manages to gain control again, hopefully my presence will help to restrain her.>>

He follows the group out to Temrash's ship and looks around.  The outside seemed relatively quiet.  He does not look in the direction of Tamora's grave.  Terenia continues up the ramp, but Ossanlin stops at the bottom, not wanting to board someone else's ship without permission.  He clasps his hands behind his back, watching as much of the ship's interior as he can from outside.

"Well..." Rayker said. "That's impressive. It sounds like you've got quite a story there. I hate to dash, but perhaps we should go see who's lookin' for us. Sorry to interrupt." Rayker turned and headed back the other way. He looked over his shoulder and gave a short wave before beginning to jog.

----------------------------------------

"Well, we'll come help you out sooner rather than later. We've just got something we need to do right now. See you in a minute, Captain." Jackson began jogging in the opposite direction. He saw Rayker and Lennan coming towards him. When they meet, he simply grabs Rayker by the arm and says, "You're coming with me."

"Wait, what are you up to, Jackson?"

"Just trust me, 'k?" Jackson pulls him into the bar, and sits him at the table. "Deal him in." Rayker begins to speak, but Jackson says, "It's Texas Hold 'em. Here're some chips, and try not to lose." Rayker looks at him, completely lost. What is up with him? he thinks, very confused. "I wouldn't plan on it...." he says, still trying to figure out what's going on.

-------------------------------------------

"Wow...." Charlie says. "What I would give to see that. There were maybe 100,000 people on Earth when I came from. And I could count all the trees I ever saw there... at least the living ones. I'd actually been to Paris once, what was left of it, that is. Others had already been there, though, so there wasn't much left for us." Carson put a hand on her shoulder. That was a sore subject for Charlie. Perhaps they hadn't all been as interested in knowing as they'd thought.

"I'm sure I'd enjoy learning about your records of Earth. You wouldn't happen to have any history of any other Earth Timelines, would you? It's really interesting learning how history changes so drastically when you make one edit here or there. From what I hear, I should be really glad that that new German leader guy choked to death when he did. Who was that again?"

"I think you were referring to Hitler, Carson. The only person in any history that I know of who could shake a stick at Desmond...." Antonio answers. Before that conversation could continue, Jackson, Rayker, and Lennan returned, and Jackson had them dealt in. No one in the Beta Squad was sure what to say to Rayker, who they'd left lost in thought beside Desmond's half-grave. So none of them said anything.

<<Yes sir. You don't think Temrash would do something dubious, would you?>> Claxter asked. Though if Oss didn't think so, he wouldn't follow them out there. He remained at the bar, nursing some bruises. He was glad no one was laughing at him for the surprise attack.

At the pilot's seat, Temrash noticed Ossanlin. "Come in Ossanlin. Enjoying your Hork-Bajir morph?"

Fenebok growled indignantly, and almost fell of the bed in a seizure as he used the nearest chair –– Admiral Vekk's chair –– to walk over to John(More like stumble) as fast as he could.

Fenebok swung his hand back and was preparing to hit John on the forehead...(not that he could do it with much force in the first place, especially since he had dislocated that elbow.

"Warrior Fenebok!!! That will do quite enough!" Screamed Vekk from his humiliating seat on the floor.

I saw a twinkle in John's eye as Fenebok looked to Vekk...

Mar nods carefully, taking in what Fiona has to say. For a while he simply waits in that position, taking casual sips of his wine. Eventually, it occurs to him that he might be able to ask the ghost something that has been bothering him a long while. He can say it in a way that means he does not have to tell her much that is relevant. And it has begun to occur to him that in this Bar, no one can use anything against anyone. The regulars live too far away from one another. What a free feeling.

"How do you manage to maintain who you are when you transfer between bodies all the time?" states Mar, frowning. "You come into a new life and new circumstances very quickly. Normally, no matter who I am and what the circumstances are, I am still at heart me. Intelligence level, skills...none of it matters. But you lose every habit and quirk from person to person."

Silver watched Rayker go and she heard the exchange. They wanted him that badly for a game of cards? Some people confused her to a deadly point. She shrugged and headed into the bar for another drink. She ordered one with an odd name. It came with two cups. One blue and the other was clear. She pourd the clear into the blue and quickly drank as it turned orange.

Al dealt Jackson, Rayker and Lennan in to the game and introduced himself to Lennan, smiling and welcoming the other two back as well. As betting started, he said, "I think we've probably only got one Earth's worth of history, sorry. Well, let me see if I can't get that history, in case you guys are interested." He leaned back in his chair and spoke aloud, using his internal communicator to Salem. "Hey, dude, where you at?"

Salem's voice came back after a second, "I'm on the ship. How come?"

"Perfect," said Al, winking to the Beta Squad. "Can you do me a favor and grab a reading pad or something with a history of Earth on it?"

"Um... sure," Salem said, sounding a little confused. "You just curious all of a sudden?"

"It's for my friends here."

"Ah. You getting anything for it?"

Al rolled his eyes and tossed his ante into the middle of the table. "I'm getting respect and friendship. I'm not going to charge them to learn about some backwater rock."

"Fine, I'll be back at the bar in a minute anyway," Salem replied, and closed the comm link.

Al leaned forward again. "Sounds like you guys really do have some interesting stories to tell. You're each from a different version of Earth?"

Gaz moved next to Silver and asked, "How you holding up?"

Gaz still had her own drink and was looking a little better than she had earlier. She still seemed more sullen than was usual. Normally Gaz was much more up beat.

Outside, Morgan nodded in acknowledgement and went back to work.
