Recording help

Ok, so not much use right now, but here you can ask questions about a problem during recording, and hopefully someone will answer (doesn't necessarily mean I'm gonna answer).

I think this might come in handy, just not yet.

Here's my attempt at Tobias. I changed the pitch to -7 in the first one and -8 in the second one, so Tobias 2 is a tad deeper.

Let me know if either of them sound close to what we need.

Yeah. Once you record it go to "Effect" > "Pitch"

So....do I sound like a 13 year old boy in mine? lol

The pitch on the second does sound like a guy, but the way you speak is still very feminine.
Kinda sounds like a tranny

Hmm...I'm not sure that Tobias the Tranny will go over very well.

 :-\

I guess that means we're back to square one.

Thank god you said this. I thought that was JRT speaking there for a sec, and I was extremely surprised at how 'girlish' (is that a word?) he sounded.

Yeah, that was my mistake. I thought you were the one to post those clips (your banner was right above it, so that's why)

I'm back and sorry. Morfowt has done a ton of the work that I should have. Thanks. I will be recording some more narration tomorrow because my dad is using the nice mic today. Just wanted to add that whoever ends up cast as Tobias should probably redo the beginning chapters, too.

I refuse to remove this sig because of some petty argument. RAF must remain solid.

alright, so annoyingly enough, the program that i have to record only allows me one minute of recording per file, so is there anything i can get for free that is better than that?
