Sierra

"Thank you.  Now...I wasn't really paying attention, so how do we get over to save Cody's mum?  Because I have no idea how to get to this pool.  So...suggestions?  And, no.  We can't just use..."  She looked back and forth at the two, still unsure of which had the earth power.  "Uh, the earth power to blow a hole somewhere.  We need to actually be discreet."

Chad

"No light." He said quietly. "We'll sneak down the stairs using the rail. Do you suppose the Kondrona machine would be on the top floor, or in the basement? It should be pretty big if this underground pool is large. Hopefully it isn't some water heater size machine stuck in some random closet." He found the rail, and used it to gide him down the stairs.

Ryan and Hector

"Well..." Ryan nudged Hector before speaking again. "Earth powers are not that colorfully vivid. And not that limited to blowing holes in the wall." He had taken several geography classes to learn how to properly manipulate tectonic plates.

"Basically the idea is to separate." Hector pointed at Ryan with a thumb. "Ryan will go make himself a hole or a pit deep enough to be able to find the underground pool and have full control on what is happening inside it."

"I'll be your extra eyes. With my abilities, I should be able to get a good read on who is there and where they are holding the target." Ryan demonstrated by having a rock lift up a few feet. "I can also make things happen to help make sure neither of you guys get captured."

"Or I could just tell them to forget they saw us.  Less attention.  But yeah.  That sounds good.  Shall we?"

Ryan and Hector

"Sure." The twins started off to an already determined spot. "For the forgetting thing, you'll have to erase both the yeerk and the host's mind. Remember? Even if the yeerk is in control, there is still the host."

They arrived near a shed, approximately a few feet away from the underground pool. "Ladies first." The door to the shed creaked open.

Sierra

She smiled sardonically.  "I may be female, but I can assure you I am no lady."  She went first anyways.  She snaked around the edges, looking for any movement.

Ryan and Hector

Ryan smiled. "It's only a shed." He patted the dirt. "You would think they would put security here since technically it's a few feet away from the yeerk pool complex." The ground opened up. "But the pool is still a few feet down."

He jumped down into the tunnel. Hector followed after closing the shed door and locking it. He waited for Sierra before jumping in after her.

Sierra

Sierra wasn't entirely sure of what to expect when she jumped into the tunnel.  She figured it wouldn't be too bad of a fall, since Ryan said it was only a few feet down.  She hadn't counted on falling onto Ryan, though.

Ryan and Hector

As it turns out the fall was longer than he had anticipated. He barely landed on two feet when someone crashed into him. Ryan fell sprawled onto the dirt, coughing.

Hector followed but managed to avoid both of them. "Grope her Ryan!" He cheered happily.

Sierra

Sierra quickly rolled off of Ryan.  She didn't doubt that Ryan would do what Hector had suggested.  She glared at Hector.  "Oh, hush.  Now, where is this thing?"

Ryan and Hector

Ryan didn't mind Sierra on him. Not at all. The twins shared a perverted leer before getting back to business.

Ryan got up and started to make a tunnel, leading them to a rock patch. "The pool is in a natural rock cave. So they have solid rock to protect them from any intrusions." He indicated to the patch. "Getting through known entrances are to risky, so..." He ran a finger down the rock, making a small crack. "When no one is looking....go in."

Sierra

Sierra nodded.  She leaned forward, her eye toward the gap.  Her eyes widened.  There were people everywhere.  Some of them crying, screaming.  They were in cages.  But...not all.  Some looked...comfortabl e, even.  She pushed away her disgust.  She needed to focus.  She looked.  Nobody looked her way.  "Wish me luck."  She murmured.  And she slipped into the site of the yeerk pool.

Acre

He sighed.  "Headmistress said the top of the hospital, it's not on the roof, so it must be close to it.  If it was in the basement, then I would have stayed home.  I don't do underground well."  He stepped into the darkness and held the rail.  "What I wouldn't give for night-vision goggles."

Sierra

Sierra walked confidently, as though she belonged.  She was subtly looking through the hordes of people and...things for Cody's mother.  Then she spotted her.  Sierra could tell she still had the yeerk in  her brain.  Sierra pushed through.  "Special orders.  Come with me."  She said to Cody's mother.  The two began to walk away.  So close...then someone grabbed her arm.  "What do you think you're doing?"
"Special orders."  She let her power build.  "Let go of me and back off."  He did as requested.  "Now forget you ever saw me."  He turned, completely clueless.  Sierra breathed a sigh of relief.

"Oh yeah, I forgot what she said. It's a lot to take in, you know."

They reached another door, and Chad listened for footsteps. He didn't hear anything, so he peeked out and found the hall empty.
