BAAACK on-topic, I found the 'from point A to point B' thing a bit over-used...
but I know exactly how that mind-set works. It's how my brain works, most of the time...
except that I typically reach point B by going THROUGH points C through Z in the process of leaving point A. I'm hard to side-track, in the long run, but only because I'm fast enough to stop my mind wandering. It DOES wander, though. I multi-task well.
I wonder how Marco would do in a multiple-calculations situation, where he has to analyze several problems at once, and rapidly. Most of the time in the books, he only has one big situation to handle.
