For some reason that thought just popped into my head. If I wrote parody fics, I'd probably use that line.

It would make sense that dumping salt on a Yeerk would do something. And yeah...why and when you would have the chance to do this...*shrug*.

But, they live in a wet environment. They depend on the pool to survive, so that means moisture is pretty important for them. And since salt absorbs moisture...I can't see how rolling in salt would be a beneficial thing.

But we have stronger "laughts":

Our favorite Vissers brother was a cannibal of fellow Yeerks if I remember my books correctly. Mmm

I would try deep fried Yeerk on a stick at the local state fair. ;)
