I do imagine it would be mostly swampland, though, and swamps are often muddy and less than desirable looking. Still, I'm sure the Yeerk world had its share of beauty.

And the Yeerks aren't evil. In the words of Seerow, they are to be pitied.

Edit: The Yeerks are to be pitied. Except the psychopathic ones who want to enslave the galaxy and destroy entire planets. Those are to be stuffed into a blender and added to your morning smoothie.

More off world stuff would have been cool. Though I can see how it didn't really fit in. It was more about Earth really.

I'm just saying that if they wanted to make so many filler books, they could make some at other worlds.

Well I never said they personally had to be the ones to go to Anati or the Yeerk homeworld, just that I wanted a chane to really see them in detail for which chronicles would have been perfectly decent.

Anyway they were not really fighting a losing battle for earth, most of the series they waged a guerilla war that is repeatedly stated by the Yeerks as being a major hindrance to their operation. At the end it becomes open warfare which is when they start to lose but end up winning anyway, they could have afforded a vacation  ;D

Personally, I loved the Leeran experience.  The opportunity to see that even though these friends loved and would die for one another, they still needed their personal mind space.  I keep remembering when they learned to 'turn off' the telepathy and how utterly alone they felt afterwards- even though they were swimming right next to each other still.

I would have loved to see more instances where a creature showed just how the Animorphs related, like the Howlers.
