Larry realized that perhaps he was pushing her too fast and decided to back off. "I do not mean to rush you Sami. If you wish to talk to these beings by all means do so. If you wish to go find Catie again then by all means lets. I will follow your lead Sami. I do not wish to hurry you along." Larry said in a sincere tone.

~Ossanlin~

Ossanlin looks away from Vogefac as his communicator sends a thought-speech indication with Efaen's signal.  He sighs and pulls the transponder from his harness, activating it.  <Success already, Warrior?>

___________________ ___________________ ___________________ ___________________ ___________________ __________

~Rathien~

Rathien arches an eyebrow.  Viran had always shown such concern for his clothing...the one and only time Rathien had ripped open one of his shirts, the Hegemon had almost had a seizure...obviously this pirate was different.

Without so much as a shrug, Rathien bares his fangs in a bit of a snarl and twists the knife, drawing it down, dragging the pirate's hands' along with his wrist movement, the razor's edge of his blade sliding through the lacy, silky fabric of Van's outer clothing easier than a hot knife through butter.  With one smooth, deliberate arm-movement, the front of Van's outer clothing hangs open, cut fine by the honed edge of Rathien's blade.  Rathien licks over his fangs as the tip of his blade now rests at the top of Van's pants, a soft and deadly caress.

"Ah, but I am not yet truly the wolf.  I bear his resemblance and demeanor, but his mind has not yet completely taken me...though it soon will.  Such courtesies will not exist when the wolf is truly unmuzzled."  Rathien growls deep in his throat, his chest rumbling as he moves his free hand inside of Van's outer clothing, fingers dragging claw-like nails across the pirate's undershirt.

<The Yeerk called Corliss has agreed to contact his leader upon your presence,> Efaen says into the communicator when her Prince picks up. She does not take her main eyes off of Mike and Terenia as she speaks. <I am located just outside the Yeerks vessel.>

"And tell him to hurry," Terenia scowls in Mike's voice. "We kind of want to actually leave this rock sometime this year."

Efaen's main eyes narrow slightly, but she relays the message. <They would prefer it if you arrived quickly, my Prince.>

Claxter overheard the communication, and wanted to ask if he could join Ossanlin in the conversation, but would probably be denied. He might do something he shouldn't, and the skimmer would be crowded with an extra Andalite on board.

Jocun was curious about what the communication was about, but didn't want to be nosy. What were the chances Ossanlin would let him tag along?

|VOGEFAC

"Yes indeed, Prince Ossanlin, me and your warrior saved the whole meteorite together.", Vogefac said.

Then, he turned away. Vogefac heard a noise he assumed was a communicator, so he wasn't offended.

"Claxter...I am not sure where Artemis is. she disappeared. Me and Thor attempted to retrieve her, but the invisible force that grabbed her was gone before we could get to it..."

Vogefac's head hung in shame.

|CATIE

Catie was wandering around the ship, when she noticed the hatch was open. She approached it...and someone walked out.

"Oh, excuse me. I hate to bother you, but do you know the location of a certain Van or Ewa?", she waited expectantly for an answer.

Sami smiled softly and nodded to Larry, really only giving that as her indication. But she relaxed a bit. She did not like talking about magic. It irked her so. She preferred science, where everything could be explained. Her eyes continued to scan the bar, but she couldn't really find anyone of interest. Yet. She was determined to try to find that android, at the very least. Or maybe someone else with abilities like hers.

Al smiled concernedly at Jasper as he thwacked his head on the underside of the table. "You alright?" he called after him as he walked towards the back hallway.

He turned to Zorish, "No offense taken. It's just that in a surprisingly high number of languages from around the cosmos, the words for "AI" and the name "Al" share some superficial similarities. I've always been a sucker for a bad pun." Zorish asked whether Jasper was always 'so eloquent.' Al smiled, "I haven't known him long, so I'm not sure if he's just out of his element here or what. He's not always the smoothest guy, it's true, but I like him a lot. Nice, smart dude, that one."

"So," he rested his chin in his hands and his elbows on the table and fixed Zorish with a smile that was somehow at once a melodramatic facsimile of intense interest, and totally sincere. "I've been meaning to ask someone around here; what is it Yeerks do for fun?"

Salem reached out and grabbed the container from who he still thought was Corliss. "Thanks," he muttered. He turned to Illim to say something about how he'd return to discuss things with him, but the Yeerk said something about 'ruining our opportunity' and stormed into the ship. Salem raised his eyebrows as he watched Derrel's form retreat inside. Had Illim been planning to hold the Malleon hostage, then? Salem found himself wondering if maybe Illim wasn't the mastermind behind this little group he was growing to dislike so much after all.

He turned and walked back to his ship. If Illim wanted to find him, he could do so on his own time. As he passed Efaen, he smiled and gave her a slight nod.

He walked back up the ramp to his ship and to the workbench-like raised platform near the middle of the room. He set the container on it, fed the 'tube' into a hole that'd appeared in the bench, and said aloud, "Alright, you guys can transfer back into the ship now." The clear 'jar' began to empty of the greenish-grey substance that had accumulated within, but Salem didn't stay to watch. He turned to the wall and began pulling up displays with thought-spoken commands to the ship. A number of different displays spread out across the wall in front of him. Most of the displays summarized what the ship's computer had recorded recently- movement of the bar's patrons, transmissions sent within the vicinity. He spent a particularly long amount of time looking at the display that showed how analysis of the rebels' communications was coming along. It wasn't looking promising so far, but with enough time, it looked like he had enough information to be able to contact them even without the help of Corliss and Illim.

As he looked at the screens, he spoke, "Hey, Mar. That took a bit longer than I expected. If you're ready for a... flying lesson, I've definitely got time now." He smirked as he said 'flying lesson.' It was not something he ever expected to hear himself asking for, especially in the sense he meant it now.

Sami frowned as she closed her eyes and tilted her head. She thought she just heard a patron say something about AI. She had heard the same acronym used on her planet once, when traders had visited her village and spoke of the big cities. They spoke of AIs, or Artificial Intelligences, being used in the cities for everything. Android was another name for these, 'beings', that were built to take care of th citizens. Sami concentrated her hearing to pinpoint the voice, and son found it. It seemed to be coming from inside the bar. She pinpointed the patron and opened her eyes to look. She still couldn't see very well in the bars gloom, but she turned to Larry, a hand nd finger outstretched. "Larry, there is an android over there. I've always wanted to see one." She smiled at him, pointing at the android.

Larry followed the direction of where she was pointing. He could see quite well in the gloom and could swear the person she was pointing at looked familiar, but he couldn't place his face. However an instant later the memory came back rushing back to his mind. When he had first walked through the door after his battle with Diablo that man had been one of the two humans that helped him.

"Very well, I need to thank him as well for his assistance." Larry said with a smile as he stood and offered his arm to escort Sami to the human.

Sami frowned, but got up as well and looped her arm through his. "Assistance with what, if you don't mind my asking." She was curious as to how he knew this man, or android. She was really hoping he/it was an android, not just someone talking about one. Although, if they knew enough about AIs, she would still gladly talk to him.

<She's a good person. Hopefully she'll be ok. Though if she hasn't contacted you in a decade in your universe, is there any way to know how fast time passes where she was last seen?>

Ewa spun around, startled.  Damn, I'm blind.  Her eyes quickly took in the source of the voice and she smiled self-consciously at the young woman.  "Sorry about that.  I wasn't paying attention the way I should have.  Van and Ewa?" she asked.  Why would someone I've never met be looking for me as well?  "I think I could track Van down for you, if it's important."  Ewa looked at the blond expectantly, her expression quietly friendly and open.

Keshin wandered almost idly into the Bar, wondering dimly if he hadn't been away long enough. At his own estimation it had been about two weeks since he'd been to the Bar, but the Bar had a way of distorting time. For all he knew, he might have just left. <I can't quite figure out why I'm coming back. Maybe I'm just that desperate for work. What I asked Corliss for wasn't nearly enough. >

<It's gettin'  worse. We need more an' more to keep runnin' the bounties.>

<I know, I know. We can figure this out.>

The Bar's crowd appears to have changed. For one thing, he didn't see so many...pretty people last time he was here. The usual Space Bar gang is oily, unwashed, and unpleasant. Whoever these new people were, they looked like they had come out of a gay bar in Brooklyn. Or at least, that's what Joanne would say.

Keshin sidled up to one of the bar stools and glanced at the typically neutral expression of the bartender. "Nice to see you too," muttered Keshin with a roll of Joanne's eyes. "Grape juice."

Mar opened his vivid green eyes and glanced irritably at the entering Salem. The man had taken almost an hour to get back, wasting the Highest's time and attention span. Whatever he was able to gain from Salem's trade and from Salem himself had better be well worth the wait.

"Is there some reason you took so long?" muttered Mar. "Although this incarnation is not busy, I am a creature that does not like to be ignored. Some of you mortals may have heard of that. Do you have any other pressing problems I should know about before we begin?"

"Hi there." Jocun said at the new entrant who had come to sit at a stool near him. "I'm Jocun. Welcome to the Space Bar."

Larry began slowly walking towards the man that had been one of the humans to attend to him. He recognized the clothing which looked to be that of perhaps a Royal and that meant the he was to be greatly revered. "When I first came to this place I was greatly injured from a battle. That man was one of the humans that assisted in helping me before Ogreon took me onto his ship. That is where I met Catie."

Larry and Sami arrived at the bar beside the male in formal clothes. Larry held his hands in front of his chest and formed a triangle with his fingers. "Greetings to you, your Highness. May I please extend gratitude for assisting in healing me earlier this day?" Larry said in a respectful tone while bowing at the waist towards this man.
