1. Can we have more than one charry?Sure, but I figured this would be more fun if we didn't have 20 something people running around, so I thought we should limit how many people we have in the game. We'll have some Controllers, other aliens, etc. later on as well. Depending on how many people we have playing, we might all have a couple characters.
2. If there are nothlits on the island, what form would they be in, and how would they have the cube, if it takes place at the time of "The Invasian".I dunno, parrots? I haven't come up with a backstory for the Andalites yet, just that they are somehow on the island at the same time as this group is... go figure. They would have to have a different cube than the one Elfangor uses... there are more than one.
3. So we'll have like, 8 kids played, along with 2 adults, and the rest NPCs?...Maybe? I just thought the original group shouldn't be too big ( we don't want to start out with twenty morphing kids...), but we'll definitely be able to expand later on. Like I said above, Controllers, aliens, Visser Three, other people, (the Ellimist?), will all come into play, too. I say 'kids and adults' so that we'll have a decent age range, rather than one age for everyone.
After we come along, we get the power to morph quite accidentally, and they wish to kill us. However, we manage to escape, with only the help of one nothlit, who explains to us what we can do....... I figured that meant some kind of attacking was involved...
Normalcy will set in about the next monday or a few days after my flag turns back to the USA flag.... which would be about this Monday.
Desired battle morph: Canada Moose or Attic Fox or New World Vulturea MOOSE?!? That would be freakin' awesome! Moose are killer... did any of you guys ever read 'Brian's Winter' by Gary Paulsen? That book made me scared of Mooses (spl?). I feel so sad for our characters... none of us have a complete family... And if someone takes the Andalite/parrot home, I won't complain. And one last thing, are we by the coast or not? I vote *thinks a while* yes.

My name is Brian, and I have a story to tell. Not that you'll believe it.
See, most people will tell stories about their trip to France, or about the time their house flooded. Most people tell believable stories. 'Average' stories.
Not me or the people I'm with. Our story is... unique.
Of all places, it started on a Cruise ship on its way back from the Caribbean. Over Summer Break, our high school offered an 'International Studies' trip; y'know, we met people who spoke different languages, mingled with new cultures, ate weird food, and “experienced the wonderful world around us.” There were about 30 or 40 kids who came with us (as well as at least a dozen chaperones). Our school had gotten a special deal on the prices...it was a pretty neat trip. Sounds pretty normal, right?
Well, you won't think so for long.
The ship had stopped at this one big island that had a bunch of little ones nearby, like, within twenty miles or so. Anyways, there was this little motorboat rental place, and some of us pooled our allowance for fun stuff to go check out a couple of these little islands. Most of them didn't have any people living on them, so it was kinda cool seeing these all-natural places that hadn't been 'improved' on yet. On one of these islands though, we found something totally unnatural.
OOC: Well, I'll just wait t' be sure. 'Cause I'm not sure if there'll be a new thread, or if we'll start at a different time.
ooc: I think we are starting nowish Marvin.I was out of character just not out enough.
If this is the same time as the Animorphs this means I won't be able to Sype my friends in Boston or Canada, right?
If this is the same time as the Animorphs this means I won't be able to Sype my friends in Boston or Canada, right?I'm not sure what you mean Rad.... By the way Tony, I like the way your doing your backstory instead of sitting out! I've picked the cube, but if I/we drop it again, something could happen to touch it. I'm going to write for Brian in red and Sean in maroon)))
(((You did just fine!)))
(((You're right Bear I kinda got Yeerk happy.)))
<I'm scared out of my mind,> Olivia thought spoke. <Could we make this fast. I don't like being a gecko.> She wiggled some more.
"Where's Tarry?" Jo said as she looked around for her favourit parrot.
Sandresh was in the kitchen when she hear the conversation between the sub Visser and Jazar. Her host managed to produce a tear for her husband. <If you dare touch Laurence,> Miriam said to her captor. <I will make a scene. I will find some way to gain enough control to warn Houston. What if I manage this while on the air?>
Sandresh would not allow such talk from a host. "Visser," she addressed when she entered the room. "If you infest Laurence I believe that my host's will will finally be broken."
<Big mistake,> Miriam said.
Ultor made a snap decision to take it easy on Alpha, he was a good second-in-command for what it was worth, even if he was needlessly nervous. "I want you make your way to the complex, I have a hunch that their is alot more going on with these andalite raids than anyone is willing to admit. You are to report to the complex and meet with Jazar. He is newly promoted and is working directly under you. I have made it his man task to aprehend this human girl with the ability to morph."
"Yes we do," he said. "It would appear that my host's stepsister came in contact with a morphing cube while cruising near an area where we had bugfighters tracking Andalites not too long ago. A customs agent has disappeared that might be conected but we can't be sure."
"I know very little to about Josefina," Jazar said. "My host's mother got married just before the summer. We have infested her father for more information on Jo. She moved here right after the marriage and hasn't any normal hang outs. We tried to infest her but she managed escape."
"What about her mother? Has she been infested? You have little information? This Jo girl has a last name. Get the last name and find out where she goes to school. You obviously been to her house and she would have school mates. Infest them. She either has the cube or has it hidden somewhere. Logically she wouldn't fight alone so she may or may not have allies. She probably wants her father back but knows she can't get him. She also has the power to morph so she would want something to fight with, and something to spy with. Where is the closest zoo and pet store?"

"Her mother Gloria Woodhouse lives in Boston," Jazar answered. "We don't have a pool there yet so infesting her would be impossible. Her last name is Woodhouse. I don't think that she had many friends in Houston yet that is why she went on the cruise. But she had joined a group called RACES I've to research. Zoos and pet stores? I'll send people there now." He stops as he is handed a report from another controller. "I knew tea sellers was a good lead. She had tea with some friends at a coffee shop not mailing post cards like she said she was."

Jo and Olivia both took advantage of the dazed money. When asked by Chad if they wanted elephants they followed.
I wish I could take advantage of some dazed Money ;)!
Elephants are really gentle creatures of you don't wake them at night. So the acquiring proses was ease at the start. When the acquiring trance lifted they were roady and making a lot of noise. "Do you think we should get out of here?" Olivia asked Chad and Jo.
"Naturally," Chad said. "What else would we do? Stay around?" he sneered. "Quick, let's start going this way.""Actually, How about we go this way?" he said, pointing up. "Or perhaps that way...." Sean pointed at a narrow-ish passage way between the Elephant Habitat and the Okapis, where he assumed the fence was. "But definitely not that way." he said, pointing in the opposite direction towards the big cat habitats they had just come from - and where the guard house was. That was also the direction from which a faint circle of light could be seen swinging across the path and along the walls, heading in their direction. Darn those noisy elephants.... They needed to be out of there, like, five minutes ago. He began to morph the only thing he knew he could count on... the fuzzy-tailed, manic-minded squirrel. It could climb, and it could climb well. That fence wouldn't be a problem. Actually, what fence? And anyways, who'd be worried about a squirrel. Still mostly human, he said to the others: "Let's get out of here... now. Get wings, or get small, I don't care. Just get out of here." As his ears shifted to the top of his head, his voice shifted to that odd internal thought-speak voice. <If we get seperated, meet at my place. The window should be open...>
"You go in and act normal," Jo said. "I get Sam to go on a long walk with Olivia while I get into Sam morph and hang out with you as her."Brian looked at Jo. So... he was just supposed to leave them here now? That didn't sit with him well. What if something happened? "Okay," is all he said. He drove the rest of the way up to the farmhouse, leaving Jo and Olivia behind. He walked up to the door, and knocked. There were a lot of voices inside, talking quietly. He looked back briefly.
"So all I do is dog sit?" Olivia asked.
"Yes."
"Wait. What? You're coming in?" Chad said. He smiled on the inside. Maybe all wasn't lost for his parents...oh, who was he kidding? They probably would never get back together. He sighed. "I can go by myself. You don't have to come."Sean rubbed the back of his neck. Man, I hate this.... "I was going to wait in case your mother decided she needed to talk with me... or something." He started to get back in the car, but hesitated. "...I'll wait in the car, I guess..."
"Thanks Tarry," Jo said. "Could you tell me how close to the farm I can without being spotted? Sam is more likely to come if I can get out of morph."
"That is crazy talk," Olivia cries.
Chad, once done talking, squirmed. He had a question he wanted to ask, but he wasn't sure how...perhaps it would be better if he just asked it right out. "Uh, no offense, but, I have something to ask you..." Chad stuttered. "Um, before all this, and before you and Mom split up....you were..different. Why'd you now change and become so much more...responsible?"Now it was Sean's turn to squirm in his seat. He knew that he'd had some issues before... then. But... he wasn't really sure what the changes were his son was talking about. Sure, he was a bit different now - everyone changed over the course of three years. More responsible? ... "... I'm really not sure what you mean. It's... what do you mean?"
When they where safely out of sight in the back area of the Barn Kildor answered Brian. "No, you are not. As I said, I know who and what you are, we of the yeerk resistance know about you and everyone else." Kildor winced a little at his partial lie; the resistance was only 100% sure about three of them. "I have news that affects the survival of you, your friends and your pet parrot. After this search is over, sometime tonight, three men will come to your home and...encourage you to get into their Van. I will be inside. Inside this Van I will reveal information vital to your survival and the survival of the resistance."Quite frankly, Brian was freaking out. He knew? Technically, he didn't say anything that really proved that he knew anything special, except for the parrot part. How was he supposed to respond to all of that?!? This guy didn't seem intent on anything too horrible yet, like infesting him or killing him outright, but still.... This guy had too much information. Brian didn't like that. Brian let a bit of his panic creep into his voice. "Where is Jo? What did you do to her?"
Kildor ran a hand through his hair, a tendancy of his human host in times of stress, "Do you have one or two quickquestions? More willl be explained to you tonight."
Chad sighed. "'Don't do this,' you say. 'Don't do that,' too. It's just not the same you. Something's up." For a second, the thought that Sean could be a controller entered his mind, and he involuntarily moved closer to the door."I.... ergh. I'm more what, strict now? I'm still not really understanding Chad." Sean felt that he knew more about what his son meant than he let on, but he still wasn't really sure and he didn't really like this conversation much....
Jo didn't have thought-speak back yet so she couldn't answer without giving away her position. But her antlers were growing at a fast pace and her legs and arms were becoming long and thin.Brian looked up, not that he'd be able to spot his squirrelly friend in the trees. He shook his head no, but knew that wouldn't be enough. He looked behind him... that guy who'd given him his task was out of sight, presumably in the shack. Good. With his back turned to Shawn, he slipped the baggie out from under his shirt. He looked at the tiny alien inside... why was he hesitating? He had to kill it, to prove he wasn't a Controller. But.... Brian opened the bag, picked up the Yeerk, and threw it into the underbrush. Hoping that Olivia could hear him, and hoping Shawn could not, he said. "No, I'm not. I need you to keep him safe. Make sure he gets as far away from here as possible." He waved Shawn in his direction, but disappeared behind the trees. Would he follow? He hoped so, for his sake. Brian began to shed his outer layer of clothing. He folded his shirt, jeans, and put the few items he'd had with him in between. then he hid them under a bush and covered them with leaves. He waited for Shawn, standing in his morphing suit, ready.
Olivia heard the exchange between Brian and the controller. <You're not a controller are you?> she asked tentatively. <Not that I'll trust any answer you give me right now.> She spoke to Tarry privately. <Tarry, I can't find Jo and I think Brian has been made into a controller.>>
Ultor looked over at Tarry, he wanted to see how the Andalite felt about his sudden appearance, and about the whole situation. "What do you think we should do, Tarry? You are the one who gave us these powers and your the one who is a warrior. I'm not, that's for sure. The parrot mind was edgy as the larger bird flew into view. But once Josefina called out, he relaxed just a bit. Particularly when Jo honored him with the recognition of Warrior... that was new. <It is good to see that you are.. all right, Jo. I am glad that you made it out safely. Our objective was for Brian to fulfill his obligation of partaking in the search - which had less than desirable results > "SQUaaack!" < - and to gather information about the Yeerks' presence. I believe we have completed our goals, and thus, we shall report back to Prince Sean as Olivia suggested.>
"Why did you hit that Kildor guy?" Olivia asked. "Seemed like he was helping us.""I'll ask again," Olivia said. "Why did you hit that Kildor guy? He seem to be helping us."
Kildor's injuries:
A burning piece of wood had fallen on Kildor's back, and he could feel his cloths starting to burn
badly broken *right* arm from car crash. Various cuts and bruises, I assume.
a large tree branch clubed him in the head..... "I suspect I have a concussion,"
