Well actually, Mar's being pretty literal there. Rathien's talking about life and death in a flippant way, but it makes a different kind of sense to a Highest. Since he views the soul as "immortal," mortal life is a kind of brief Dream from his perspective. What happens during it is important, but it doesn't last more than the blink of an eye to him. He can afford to wait, especially after just absorbing the Allstone like this.

Mar himself meanwhile is an immortal. His personality is immutable beyond incarnation variations (normally, mind you) and he cannot truly die. Even if Rathien kills him off in the Bar, only this him will die. Therefore, he is "awake." :P

I'm not sure how Claxter will react if he falls madly in love with Candice because of her voice, then finds out her voice has that kind of power over men. If Candice gets too scared of retaliation if she does say it, this could go on for a while.

Okay, I'm actually working on a post now. It's amazing how hard it is to post in the GESB without internet access.

Does the bar have free wireless? Has anybody ever made an attempt to find out? Maybe I'll go post from there.

On a completely unrelated and entirely promotional note: there's a new game of Animafia starting, in case anybody here's interested. Just buzz the rules to make sure you know what's going on, maybe skim an old game or two, make sure you're willing to keep up, and then pop into the sign up thread and await an opening of the game thread itself. Bring a friend: the more the merrier.

That's why I'm trying to hurry it up by saying she likes singing. So then I'll tell you she is a siren and we can go from there. It'd get boring if we kept up like this.

*Snickers* I may decide to come in on Animafia, if only out of sheer curiosity. ;3 Okay, if Lumy can produce shameless plugs I'm totally doing it too. Only even more shamelessly because I love it so. >:D

I am DMing, for some reason, a little Roleplay known as Hero of Legend. It actually has an extremely detailed canon, but it has been simplified for ease-of-player-use. :D It is best described as Hunger Games tournament logic meets eventually deconstructed JRPG tropes thrown into a pot of Shenmue. :3 Expect sadism, politics, cultural rambling, mind screw, and other such Me-isms. Yay! ^^

And on the GESB end, I await the awesome that is Ossanlin. :D

For the voice of Vogefac? O.o

I dont know who I'd trust to portray my characters emotions properly...but I'd probably choose...Michael Dorn(Worf, Star Trek: The Next Generation), or...POSSIBLY Will Smith, if he used a deeper voice.

Keshin's harder to place. You'd need someone with a nearly androgynous but male-ish voice. I've heard something like this dozens of times playing a young cyborg or robot, but I can't remember the actor's name. And Myitt would be played by Myitt. X)
