~Ossanlin~

Ossanlin watches as his stun hit lands dead on but Salem keeps moving, flashing him a look to kill.  <Salem, feral humanoid, stop this now or you'll both be stunned and detained.>  Ossanlin draws his second shredder and trains it on Rathien.  <Whatever your dispute is, I won't have you endangering innocent lives with it.>

___________________ ___________________ ___________________ _________________

~Rathien~

Rathien snarls as Salem fires off two more rounds.  He takes in the form of Ossanlin and then notes the Shredder trained on him.  Not on Salem's side obviously, but not on his either.  He hurls his body sideways again as the shots near him and some furniture somehow floats into the path of the shot.  Rathien winces as the furniture is hurled in his direction, a bar-stool striking his shoulder as the rest flies wide.  He catches himself in a similar position as before.  He keeps the Entroper leveled at Salem but does not fire, glancing once at the Andalite before returning his eyes back to Salem.  Those who'd helped Salem before were not this time, but the situation is still too volatile...curse Tobias for starting this here and now.  But of course he would...the advantage lies with him.

He glances at the front door, still blocked by another patron...he did hate retreating, but this situation is not conducive to accomplishing any of his desired results.  He glances at the hallway in the back, presumably toward another exit but dismisses it immediately...it would carry him closer to too many people, Tobias included.  He glances at the nearest wall...there's a possibility...he decides to wait before exercising it to see what would happen next.  After all, outside probably isn't much better than in...who could know what surprises Tobias had waiting out there.

___________________ ___________________ ___________________ _______________

~Raile~

Raile watches the firefight unfold...one being seems to possess a small gravity-modification device...like a hover-unit converted into a handheld weapon, the other seems to possess a chemical modulating device...some kind of bond-disruptor perhaps.  Interesting weapons, and both very effective in completely different ways, and both unlike the technology in either blasters or light-sabers.

He glances at the crouched being, some sort of feral humanoid, and locks gazes with him for a moment.  Raile doesn't plan on moving and allows his serene but penetrating gaze to rest on the feral just long enough to let him know that the front door isn't an exit at this particular moment.  The strange centaur-like creature...the larger one...seems to be attempting to resolve the situation peacefully.  He continues to watch and wait, not interfering with Garreth.

Garreth is pleased that his actions are helping keep others alive; but neither of the offenders are leaving the crowded space. He looks to Raile and speaks to him telepathically, <<Raile, we need to get these two outside of the buidling. Tobias only wants the Ildari, so I'm certain he would exit the building if the other were to exit as well. Earlier it seemed as though Tobias was attempting to draw the Ildari outside; however the Ildari decided to stay inside, using the patrons as cover. We need to extricate the Ildari and move this fight outside away from innocent people. Join me in attempting to throw the Ildari out of the front door. Tobias is sure to follow.>>

He concentrates on the Ildari's position and waits for his friend's response before attempting anything.

Jocun listened to Ossanlin speak. He wondered if he should attempt to back the Andalite up. Obviously they were in agreement, but they weren't friends. Would speaking up be helpful or hurtful at this time? Personally he just wished he had his own guards before trying to force hostile people to settle down.

Salem rolled his eyes, a motion barely visible as his face shimmered in and out of visibility. "I'm not going to hurt anyone, War Prince," he called out, ducking behind a particularly thick cluster of chairs around an empty table. His words sounded oddly muffled to his ringing ears.

Rathien wasn't shooting back... he supposed that was somewhat expected, what with his aversion to collateral damage, but with his leg apparently injured, this was quickly turning the situation to Salem's advantage- he had time to hunker down and try to recover from Ossanlin's shot, while keeping the hunter continuously off-balance.

He kept an eye on every bit of this situation that he could- the flying furniture seemed to be moving in response to the man with the energy sword- a telekinetic being, apparently. Half the bar seemed ready to shoot at him- which was fine in these circumstances- his camouflage and artificially-induced adrenaline state ought to make him ready for attacks from other directions. And Rathien... appeared to be checking out escape routes. Good. Retreat was his best option at this point- it was the course Salem would have taken in his position. When the hunter made his move, it might provide an opportunity. Doors and windows created pinch-points through which the hunter must move in order to get outside; Salem would have an opportunity- albeit a very brief one- in which he knew exactly where the hunter would be. He reigned in his firing rate slightly- he wanted to keep the hunter on edge, but still let him believe he could escape.

Rathien was still visible, though. He hadn't activated his camouflage. What game was the hunter playing?

He thought-spoke to Rathien, <<This would be so much easier...>> he fired a shot at the hunter's torso, <<If you'd just stay still.>>

"Will...you...get...off of me?" Myitt demands, trying to reach under Tamora's body to her own Dracon.

As she struggles she glances sharply across the table at Illim and Daniel.

"Think we can get out of here without getting turned into Swiss ****ing cheese?" she breathes, still wincing under Tamora's weight.

"Depends on how long this fight carries on," Illim grunts, wincing sympathetically as he watches Myitt trapped under Tamora. He grunts in irritation as Serid finally manages to climb over him and make it to Ossanlin's side. Ducking his host's head as another shot is fired, he looks up at Myitt from his bent-over angle. "Maybe we shouldn't have parked ourselves right beside the Andalite who decided to join the fight for no apparent reason," Illim mutters, making his irritation with the War Prince obvious as he turns his gaze on him with a scowl.

"So," Myitt breathes, trying to peer over the edge of the booth, "either we stay here and wait for a stray shot to vaporize this whole table into splinters, or we wait for it to die down. I sure as hell ain't getting involved in a firefight that's not worth dying for."

Claxter moved aside a bit for Myitt and the others to attempt to make for the door. <I could attempt to cover your escape, though I have no clear plan for that at this moment.>

Tamora squeaks in surprise when Myitt struggles to push her off. Unsure where to go, she half tumbles out of the booth, doing her best to keep a wide berth between her and the Andalites.

Standing shakily, her wide, frightened eyes dart between the assailants. "What do I do?" she whispers, pressed against the back of the booth.

"Get down, you idiot, just not on top of me," Myitt hisses, moving to push Tamora down at the shoulders, and half pulling her back into the booth, with a little more room.

Glad for some direction, Tamora lets Myitt pull her back into the booth, doing as she is told. "Now what do we do?" she asks in a quavering whisper, her eyes darting between the adversaries. The weapon Zorish had left her is untouched at her side -- she seems to have entirely forgotten that she has it.

"We sit here and try not to die, caught in some stupid firefight for some stupid reason," Myitt says, rolling her eyes. "And if anyone points a gun at you, you use yours." She takes the gun from Tamora's holster and jams it into Tamora's hands. "Just...keep it aimed at the floor for right now. No, not at my feet, damnit..."

<I really don't think giving her a firearm is a good thing, Myitt.> Claxter said. Though she ignored his earlier comment and would probably ignore his present one too.

Tamora looks down at the weapon in her hands and swallows. "I've never shot it before," she says in a strained whisper, her eyes darting back to the conflict.

Al had kept low when the firefight had started, and had managed to make his way in a low crouch over to the table at which Myitt and the others were gathered, his face a mixture of annoyance, fear, and, if one were looking very closely, amusement.

"I am SO not with him," he said in a tense whisper, nodding towards Salem.
