Hey guys, I'd like to see the thread move a bit faster, but I'm fresh out of ideas on how to make that happen.  I'm sorry for the slowness...I've tried everything I can short of being an ****, and I'm not going to go that far.  I can only ask so many times before it becomes pointless.


On a semi-related note, I've just started a job so I have a lot less free time myself.  I still plan on checking every night if I can though, and my weekends will still be mostly open.

Marie, I really can't post more without knowing your intentions for the child.  The machine would've recorded vital functions.  The explanation I came up with isn't perfect...the machine would've sent out a warning for the lack of respiration...but we can let that slide.  However, without knowing your intentions, I can't really have Varekil analyze the situation without making random assumptions.  If you want to send me a PM or something, it would be helpful.  One of the first things Varekil would see is exactly when the infant's heart stopped beating...and that's obviously a very big detail.

Honestly, Chad, it really depends upon the time of day and how I'm feeling.  I generally check every night, but sometimes I'm just too dead to write out a cogent post.  I'm also very preoccupied with learning the intricacies of a new job, and I have trouble posting from my phone...so sometimes I have the time/ability to read, but not to post.

I didn't mean for Claxter to come off as cold. He's upset, but he's not going to burst into tear over it. There will be reprocusions for Sector Seven for this!

Honestly, Chad...I thought what you did with Claxter's actions was great.  You played him as he would naturally act given his personality.  It was a great example of not allowing personal desires regarding the RP to change a character's actions within.  I winced when Claxter walked away right when Efaen opened up...but that's what Claxter would've done...devotion to duty before all else.  And Efaen took it as Efaen would.  That was just an example of good role-playing.  Some ppl in the GESB didn't understand the value of not allowing their own outside knowledge and desire to affect their character's actions within the RP so as to influence the RP in a way that they as players saw desirable.

I think Jessi knows you don't want Claxter to come off as cold, but that's how Efaen would take it.  Despite wincing, I enjoyed how that played out from a GM viewpoint.
