Would it be LARPing if we're just sitting in a room, talking? Usually when I think of that, it's people in costumes running around some place.

In any case, if I met you guys I'd love to do more than just say Hi, how you doing? How's the folks?

Aight, post up finally.

I guess imo, a group of people sitting around a table and talking in character would be LARPing regardless of costumes or running around.  I know of a group that LARP'ed werewolves and vampires in Ames and they never left the space they had reserved for the RP.  Pretty sure they didn't wear any costumes or anything either.  It could be fun if we didn't get carried away with it.  ^^

Nah, like Luke said: as long as you're in character, it doesn't really matter what you're doing; it's LARPing. It's a heck of a lot of fun, as well as a great character building exercise. We should totally do it some time ^_^

I can imagine what it would look like, controlling two characters in the same conversation. It could be better to just pick one.

BUMP!  >_>  Also, starting a new thread called "Memoirs of the Rogue Element."  Basically I'm going to post short journal entries by my characters during the events of the Rogue Element.  It would be awesome if you guys wanted to join me.  If not, that's okay, but please feel free to post similar posts in that thread!  ^^  I have arbitrarily decided that the events that started the Rogue Element have happened in standard year 5488 because...reasons.  Basically it allows nebulousness in when these events actually occurred, but obviously they would've happened sometime around the time of the Animorphs books.  The format I'm using will be considered the standard for official Andalite journal entries...very prim, proper, and precise.  But if you guys want to hop in, you can format your entries however you want.    Also, lets get some posts running in RE!  ^^  I know...I was the reason for the hold up last week, and I'm sorry.  But I don't have any plans to be busy for the next couple of months, you know, aside from working full-time as I do.  So I should be good to go!  (Part of the reason I'm doing this memoirs thread is because I really want to do some RP posts.)

Sounds like a nice thread for Ferxal to post his hidden tapes. I was planning on having him do this, though Ossanlin may or may not know what he's actually doing. He can make tapes about personal thoughts that he may not share with Ossanlin, and hide them somewhere that's not easy to find, but should be found by the military if the rebellion fell and they went looking for stuff.

I have absolutely no problem with that, Chad.  Ossanlin can't keep tabs on everything, and as Security Elite, Ferxal would have the appropriate access to computers and such to be able to hide such media, though I would assume he'd use some sort of chip or device that's similar to a flash drive to store the files on.  I'm glad you like the thread idea.  The nice thing about it is you can post as little or as often as you like regardless of the post frequency of others.  I think it will also build better character personalities and realities.

Added a memoir entry for Joanne. XD

 Joanne never got through 8th grade, and lived in a questionable part of town. I doubt she paid a whole lot of attention in school. With this in mind, she can't spell or write very well, in Gallard or English. Keshin has tried to improve her literacy, but to basically no avail.

They'll alternate entries when we find the time. Fun stuff.

Hey Chad...these logs I've posted from Ossanlin are from the past.  This latest one was right before the raid on the Corvus facility.  Gamma Centri is the name I gave the planet that the Tyrennian orbited while the Mirage crew executed the Corvus raid.  I haven't really given a name to the planet that the space dock was built at yet.
