Basically the camouflage is limited...it only works when the individual is sitting still or moving very very very slowly. They all jumped and ran back out of the hallway quickly to get away from the detonator, thus their camouflage malfunctioned due to the rapid movement. Also, the generators can only do one or the other at a time. That is, they can either provide a shield that absorbs a few shots before having to recharge, or a limited camouflage which provides no other protection. Thus, if someone is using the generator as a camouflage module, they have no shield to block incoming shots. I hope that clears a couple things up. I forget so often that you guys can't read my mind and just automatically know my ideas. >_> My bad...I try not to do that, I do. Been a tad "out of it" lately.
And Kel, sorry for being so vague, but the dracon beam itself was red. The personal shielding generator's energy field flares light blue when it absorbs/disperses a shot.
