Chad, where is Xevec/Derrel right now?

Probably in the dome or their room. Derrel did make an offer to do simple jobs, but I don't know if Oss would have given him anything yet. Stuff like sweeping floors, washing walls, maybe moving boxes, and stuff. I'm sure he'd be in his room, out in the dome, or maybe he's in a hallway cleaning the floor.

If you want me to decide definitely what he's doing, let's just say he's sweeping the floor in the main hall.

*slinks in* So hey guys. Turns out I am still alive. I have the three ingredients necessary for this RP in my life again (that is, a tiny smidgin of free time, a place to live wherein I'm not stressed like crazy constantly, and internet access).

Things have been intense since I last looked ^_^ My post is nearly done, and will be up shortly. It feels so good to RP again. I need to stop not RPing

If 'The Hand' is referring to the Yeerk group that's got it in for Salem, I've primarily used the term 'The Light' for them-- though I'm all for them being known by a number of different names. I've already used a couple of others myself (though I only remember the Light at the moment). It would make for a very interesting mythos if there's one organization that has multiple names and ways of being referred to as a method of throwing off intelligence reports

On the other hand, if there's a similar organization (or even a rival organization) within the Empire, that lends itself well to a different sort of badass backstory, which I would highly approve of ^_^

Sorry Scott, I remembered "The Hand" for whatever reason...probably comes from my abuse of the Wheel of Time books...The Children of the Light were a non-national army devoted to "The Light," and their most-zealous members joined "The Hand of the Light."  Basically equivalent to the Spanish Inquisition.  The head officer of the Hand was even called "High Inquisitor."  So somewhere in my mind, your "Light" mixed with my idea of those who would be in it to juxtapose "The Hand" in its place.  I'm perfectly okay with switching my references to "The Hand" back to "The Light."  But I was indeed referencing your shadow society with my posts.
