I still remember getting my first animorph book back in 1996 When I was about..10 . It was The Invasion and it opened up my eyes to a world where things are not they seem and not even those closest to you can be trusted. Being the hungry for books kid I was I ate it up and had to get the second book. I begged my mom to buy me the second and third books. It was amazing. I had never felt such devotion and loyalty to any thing like this before. I become enthralled with Tobias and his struggle. I felt horrible for Jake and his burden of command. I just kept waiting for Rachel to snap and lose her humanity. Back then I was the only kid I knew who read this books and I remember it pretty much killing to have no one to talk too about them. I quietly kept it to myself and read online fanfiction wishing for a place like this.

Well now here I am. Almost 22 and I have found such a place. Better late then never, eh? I am currently missing only a few key books. Most notably numbers 48, 49, 50 and 51. I would kill to find these in the wild. For some reason I refuse to revert to ebay. I want to find them like I found every other one I had. Either I carried them over from my childhood or collected them later on in life. I am sure one day I will find them.

I am currently re-reading the series and am now on number 11. It makes me smile to see those humble starts again for our heroes. They have much to acomplish in the books to come.

Sorry for talking everyones ear off! I hope I can meet some great people on here who are like-minded and kind. :). Can't wait to talk to you all! Thanks for this great site.
