I started to open my eyes. Was I dead? No I hear people. Who is it? Just then I remembered everything that had just happened moments before. I was on the floor, why was I on the floor? I should be dead down in the pool but I'm alive and perfectly intact. I sat up and looked around. What the hell was going on? Were we still in the school? Yeah I can still hear the Visser so we must be close still. I tried to stand up and surprisingly I was able too. I rubbed my head taking everything in. The team was here....wait where was the bird? Tobias was his name I think. "Ugh was the mission a success or a failure?" I asked pretty much knowing the answer. I looked around at everybody and then my eyes fell on Sam. His face was messed up. He was trying to save me when it happened to him. It's my fault that this happened to him. "Sam I'm sorry its my fault your eye got messed up. You can have a free shot wherever you want." I stood there and opened my arms ready to be hit.

"Yeah your right." I said. Wow is this how I really am? I heard when your life is on the line you see what type of person you are but am I really that battle bound? The real problem is I wanted him to punch me as hard as he could. The thrill of it would have made me happy. Now that I think about it all I really did down there was put myself in life threatening situations but for what? To save Jake? That was part of it I guess but the other part was it was fun. I was truely having a blast down there killing those Hork-Bajir and getting blasted by the dracon beam was one of the worst pains I have eve felt but I enjoyed it. Did I jump in front of Jake to save him or to put myself in that situation? At that moment I realized I needed to sit down but I just walked over to a wall and stood against it with one foot on the wall looking at the floor.

I remained at the back of the ledge as possible, trying to hide till I had a chance to escape. In my head the final few seconds finally counted down as the two hour limit was over.<Atleast they got out...I hope they all did anyway.>I said to myself in my thoughts.

I couldn't help feeling partly at fault about the failure of the mission to rescue Jake's brother. <I am certain there will be other opportunities to rescue him, Prince Jake. The rest of them as well. If my own older brother was here, he would have saved all the Humans, put serious tail into Visser Three, and left the controllers cowering in the corner. Though for reasons I don't understand, he is no longer alive. He could not be saved, but Tom can.>

I remained as silent as possible as I wanted for any chance to get out of there. The worry of the timelimit was over, now I just needed to get out of here and live and just help my friends from this point on.

I felt bad for these Humans. To be young and untrained, yet burdened with such a heavy task. And here I was spending part of my time thinking of ways to leave this planet and making their job harder. Yet it was illegal to help them in the ways that they needed help. I wished I had the answers for the hard questions I was posed with.

I watched as the controllers capture a few free people and then put them back to where they were and then I watched several controllers looking around everywhere making sure it was clear as I moved to the back of the ledge as possible, hiding the best I can and waiting just for any second to get out.
